  1. Would you have said St Midden was a difficult tie? They're all hard ties because everyone wants to beat Rangers and they all put that extra effort into achieving just that.
  2. The black and red socks signify Rangers. The crap they wear just now makes it hard to distinguish them from Everton.
  3. What unadulterated drivel. But it's from Keevins, so nothing new there, then.
  4. From this photo, it would appear that contrary to popular belief, Sise does matter. :-))) (with apologies to my mate, Jimbo).
  5. Our refs are bad. No question. Even our so-called "good" referees are appalling. The fact that there are other referees who are equally bad, or worse, does not alter this fact one iota.
  6. People will only boycott what suits them It's all very well swearing blind fealty to Rangers but when it comes to inconvenience, well, that's a horse of a different feather. And by the way, the BBC does take cognisance of audience figures. People's jobs hang or fall by them.
  7. Correct. In civil cases the burden of proof lies with the defender.
  8. No we don't. We all think we know the answer to that. A fine distinction, perhaps, but one that the courts would certainly draw.
  9. Where are the Rangers' solicitors and what is being done about this poisonous drip, drip of adverse publicity. The impression given is that we are not doing enough to combat this or reassure the supporters that all is well and that the club is on top of things.
  10. This will be a well-rehearsed hatchet job. You can bet on it. There will not even be the remotest hint of impartiality. This is the BBC's was of getting back at Rangers over the McCoist slur when they were forced to issue a (sort of) public apology. We should have gone for the jugular then. We made the mistake of letting them think that kindness was weakness. Let's not forget that the BBC is still a publicly funded organisation and as many of us as can, should write and register our complaints. If enough of us do it, something will be done.
  11. Funnily enough, I have not been able to get it out of my mind that the OC is the tim's favourite QC. However; it is surely well known now that "transparency" only means what Reagan, Liewell etc, want it to mean on a day-to-day basis.
  12. Apparently, no deal. The gap was too great between what was offered and what was wanted.
  13. Apparently it's not the referee who decides on the extra time to be added on. However; he is not obliged to adhere to it.
  14. 89 games in 7 years does not speak of consistency. Apparently he is prone to knee injury. So that's it then, just what we're looking for. :-)
  15. It would've been hard for me to miss him. I was in the disabled section and he was dancing right in front of me. Not for long though as the polis soon shifted him.
  16. As a 'turnaround' specialist I would think that Whyte would be quite sure-footed going through the minefield of 'Insolvency' and I have no fears for the future of Rangers. Bankruptcy would not be the be all and end all of RFC. The "Limited" may no longer be there, but Rangers Football Club will be.
  17. Let's hope this heralds (pun intended) the end of Mr Moonbeams' dignified silence. Next, Mr Whyte, please get rid of the rabid tims like the security receptionist at Murray Park, a well-known tim and IRA supporter. Then start with all non-Rangers' supporters in Ibrox.
  18. He has to be held to his promise of a referendum before he can do anything else. I hope that the Scottish people have the sense they were born with and reject the proposed Independence Bill. I think they will.
  19. As an afterthought and following on from the idiotic comment of Spiers that 'some thoughts should be criminalised' what about the howler from No 1 Idiot, Galloway on Monday who said "I want to see the religious affiliations of every member of that jury" (the Wilson trial re Lemon). Honestly, the man is as stupid as he is dangerous.
  20. Anyone thinking that Spiers did not have both oars in the water would have had their worst fears confirmed today at the hearing re the Sectarian Bill. Dr Walton of Abertay University took ownership of Spiers. Car-crash TV. Splendid stuff.
  21. I believe that legal action is also likely to follow, following unpaid bills due to a North Glasgow college. What the fuck is going on at Rangers? In all my years of following Rangers, I cannot remember us having been made to look so foolish, so often. It looks like we're being run by amateurs.
  22. I think that the ones we have brought in will not offer the support to the established starts that they will need. Mind you, I also think that a couple of the so-called "established" stars - Lafferty and Whittaker - could well prove to be luxuries we can't afford.
