  1. Really? Very interesting conclusion. 'Green the Messiah' is easier to understand now
  2. They certainly are, and it is a major mistake. First off, because it is a lie. There will be many who have already bought into the Rangers Supporters Society who will not realise they have not bought shares in Rangers FC, never mind the fact that you cannot buy shares in Rangers FC. Small issues like the 3 year tie in will stop them doing anything about it as well. The IPO prospectus is full of shit but at 122 pages you expect some. RSS should have been better than that - clear and concise to all, not an attempt to grab all comers with misleading data and innuendo.
  3. There is nothing impartial about it. It is about as biased and partial as you will ever see
  4. Well said Ross, solid and understandable reasoning for the Assmbly's decision. If someone gets jailed for attempting to murder you, you don't go and buy them a beer when they get out. Well, a number on here would obviously Worth noting that Andy Kerr and Ross Blyth, president & vice of the RSA, are 2 guys amongst the small band of supporters who attend every single Rangers game, wherever we may be playing. It will be as hard for them to miss this game as anybody.
  5. It was a massive fail, but relax, "Amy MacDonald support for ePartition" was much better
  6. Surely Charles Green is not considering letting McCoist spend money? His track record of signing utter shite and wasting dosh is only surpassed by his results. Oh, I see the connection now. So Charles, use the 'not bending the rules' excuse. keep the purse closed.
  7. He said: â??HMRC shouldnâ??t be above the law. Nobody is above the law. Some of the leaks I know really angered David Murray. really really, or just really?? You tell them Alistair, way to go:ffs:
  8. Absolutely not good enough. Bears all over are losing cash due to their balls up yet all they worry about? Arrangements to fleece us at a date to be announced. Still just £15 next time or should they do a QP and go for £20? The game should be forfeited.
  9. Should confine his failings to the dug out and leave the rest of it to the board.
  10. They are not allowed to present new evidence
  11. A mere blogger attacking a fellow blogger amongst others. Whilst Leggo is undoubtedly one of us, he is full of shit. But even a broken watch is correct twice a day so you never know. So David Leggat, the man who a week and a half before Rangers FC went into admin wrote the most cringeworthy Craig Whyte article ever (not only did he suck the Whyte boaby, he swallowed the lot) may one day get a result. a number of senior press pack pals is one of his favourite lines though.
  12. When people start telling lies to cover their failings or side-step the issue, you know their mindset.
  13. Green said 100% before Christmas live in a radio interview. He also said he is taking 10% of the flotation - is that not taking out? One thing is for sure, he has put nothing in. He is being well rewarded by salary, the 10% is simply what he is making out of the IPO. True or false?
  14. Lies? So Green has never said he will float the club before Christmas? He has never said he is getting 10% of it? Fair enough.
  15. To be fair, Green only wants around £2million out. Preferably before Christmas, as is his own oft stated deadline.
  16. You have managed to contradict yourself totally, well done. Mind you, you did suggest you can read but not write. Just to clarify, I am a supporter of Rangers FC, and I hope the IPO is a raging success. I do not hope it fails. Maybe you can tell me what would constitute failure of the IPO ? My bad for thinking we do not need it just now, that the haste of it is extremely questionable at best and there are no sound reasons for backing Mr Green at the moment. The prospectus will need to be stunning. Charles Green wants our cash by Christmas, whatever happens. I am sorry that that worries me. Maybe I should be comforted by the fact that the RST, who a few weeks ago demanded we do not buy tickets and give Green no money, are his staunchest allies. Or maybe Leggo, who has now decided Green is no snake oil salesman after all.
  17. Fair enough Frankie, thanks for coming back to it. I simply asked what the sensible reasons are for having this share issue now. edit: from a supporter's viewpoint, not CG.
  18. There are murky tie ins, whether you like it or not. Green has admitted this whilst being very vague about detail. Strange. Who introduced who, when and who scratched whose arse first. Wait and see you say? That is exactly what I am saying we should do. There is nothing like a set of accounts to put investors minds at ease. If there is clearly no urgency or need for a share issue like you say, what interpretation do you expect people to make? You agree this venture into the unknown, without any accounts and goodwill to back it up, is not needed. Yet we should do it, why? To put money in the bank to help progression you say? We do not need more money in the bank for that. We have a £7m wage bill and income from 37,000 season tickets and a stack of matchday sales on top. The progress we need off the park is not financial. Seems you agree there is neither sound nor desperate need to invest in the IPO. Why would I want it to fail? Anyway, it matters not if it is taken up or not. If, as you say, clearly there's no urgency or need for the share issue money as far as the club's viability is concerned. So maybe we could apply common sense and wait until we have some structure and accounts presented and we know what we are investing in. If it does in fact need investment, of course. And I am sure the BDO report will dispel any fears about murky dealings up until the £5.5m non cva deal. Although that may take years. Green should just be thankful that for some reason D&P did a pre liquidation asset sale to him at a knock down price under the guise of a doomed cva - rather than racing to get the fans cash asap.
  19. Hopeful this is a plan for success? Paranoia? What about common sense? Frankie said the forthcoming prospectus will help us. How can we be sure? What about the absolute urgency Green has to get our cash right now coupled with the murky tie ins with D&P and Whyte? Along with their all party agreed £5.5m 'non cva deal' early doors. Will the prospectus shed some light on who owns our £5.5m club, currently, what assets it has and what part of it they are selling for £500 a pop. What would no doubt help and make things a lot easier would be a period of relative stability, some on and off field progress, continued healthy ST sales and, most importantly, a year or 2 of solid accounts. No? Mr Green appears to want this done and cash in before any of that, before Christmas in fact. I wonder why. Yet we must make his attempt successful. Perhaps he, along with others, is banking on our emotions rather than our prudence and common sense.
  20. Nice sales pitch. Why does it have to be a success? What are all the sensible reasons for fans doing it now?
  21. We should have lasted the season easily. Whyte said, and past accounts show, it cost app £4.5m a month to run. Even if you allow the full £54 million costs for a year we would not have been in administration yet. If you add up the regular club income - £17m s/t sales, the £10m CL payment he got in june, jjb, azure, hospitality, paper tickets, advertising and sponsorship etc guess what? Yep, a £10m loss. Even Whyte told us it was a £10m black hole. He bought the club with £15m net debt. £8m in the bank and £23m debt (Incthe LBG £18m). Add the £10m loss and we should be £25 million in debt and still okay with the asset to debt ratio to trade until the ftt was known. Simple fact is, however he managed it, Whyte chose to syphon off all the clubs income. And £27m from ticketus. No mean feat in 9 months. He started with £15m debt and put us into admin with £55m debt in the 9 months. So the £40m increase in debt tallies with the £40m running costs. Some guy, hope BDO strike lucky.....
  22. If Whyte had run the company properly we would not be in administration at all. We would be waiting for the ftt result.
  23. But who did he bid £6m to and for what share?
  24. Is that back in sanction free or crippled for a few seasons? Makes a huge difference to any decision.
  25. But Rangers FC plc are not being bought over, different scenario.
