  1. Problem is stating some is a shyster without backing it up just looks like mudslinging.

What evidence did you show? What did you propose to do about it? What alternative did you propose that would save the club?

Given the information of the last year, I can't think of a workable scenario. Something had to be done about the gorilla - it seems like Whyte thought he had found a way, but it didn't work out the way he hoped. However, the corpse of the gorilla has been delivered in any case - at a huge cost to the club. But what was the alternative?

You have never read forlans posts have you? All along, time and again, he backed up his claims and posted evidence of what the shyster was up to.

Like he says, all he got for that were taig accusations etc. And the odd ban for being 100% correct.

  2. http://www.gersnetonline.co.uk/vb/showthread.php?43709-Green-eyeing-quick-exit

There's a statement in that thread where Green says ....

“No, I won’t be getting £4m or anything like it for my trouble. I’ll be getting £2m in shares, not cash. No, I’m not waiting on the season-ticket money because that’s going into an ESCROW account and I won’t be able to get my mitts on it.

I see it in the daily record interview in that thread, thanks. I will look for it in the renewal papers when they pop through the letterbox tomorrow.

If it is not stipulated my 3 seats will not be paid.

  3. Which is exactly the impression King wants to create to exploit our fears. Consistently through this, TBK have use the same tactic. Try and taint anyone by inferring links with Craig Whyte, like he's some kind of bogey man.

As King says, Whyte may well have engineered some benefit from the sale, but he'd have done that no matter who bought them.

It's been announced that the ST cash is going into an escrow account which Green can't touch, which blows Kings ridiculous tactic right out of the water and shows his self-interest even more clearly.

The TBK gang muttered that "Green would put it into an escrow if he wasn't after the cash"

Well he did, so will they now belt up ?

I doubt it. They'll just latch onto something else as evidence of his masterplan for world domination.

In which statement did Green / Rangers announce the s/t cash was going into an escrow account?

  4. I take it they are getting rid of that clause you talk about, I wouldn't want him on the board after the last couple of days.

Did Green not say no shareholder will be on the board?

Ridding themselves of King as a director may not be that easy.

  5. The interest and penalties were probably already applied or accrued before admin.

D & P have only been owners since admin, they are referring to the previous owners ie Whyte.

Did anyone expect he would be open and forthcoming before he left ?

D&P are owners of what since admin?

  6. He's never once backed the CVA approach and insisted all along Liqudation was the only way he could see out of all this. Now all of a sudden a CVA looks to have a glimmer of hope he's getting himself all hot and bothered.

Why now and not weeks ago when the CVA looked a distant dream?

Are you ignoring the fact that King owns 5.3% of Rangers FC plc? Significant that it is over 5% as well. There is a huge difference between not backing a cva and not believing a cva is possible. Like I said, I doubt many will be happier than King if a cva is achieved.

Perhaps he is a heavily invested cynic with info that a cva will not happen this time and the Green newco will be forced on every stakeholder and creditor (inc hmrc) - if possible? And King did pay £20million for the right to air his view.

  7. And he's shit himself, I honestly believe he thought and wanted us to go to the wall and he would ride in and pick up the pieces.

King wants us to go to the wall? I am sure he will have no problem if a cva is successful. Reckon he would be quite happy with such an outcome and be in a stronger position than he is now. Add to that, he could not ride in and pick up the pieces.

Maybe he simply doesn't like the way D&P and Whyte have stitched up the 85% of Rangers FC. Again, since they were the 2 parties who did it last time.

  8. Ally McCoist does not know what division Rangers will be competing in next term or what players he will have but insists they will be ready.

What a pity he was not ready last season. Accepted the gift of a job he was not qualified to do and had not earned the right to, knew what was expected from the off after the Kaunas debacle, proceeded to ignore it and make a complete and utter balls of it. Malmo, Maribor, Falkirk and the 20 point throw away pre admin do not lie. Then we can throw in the total capitualation against the arabs at Ibrox in his final cup catastrophe.

Talk is cheap. Unless it is saying "we don't walk away" of course.

  9. Cant speak for the Law Society but ICAS have, and continue, to take action against members. Every issue of the Insitute's "trade" magazine has instances of people being disbarred, suspended, fined etc.

I dont think that it is so much that they are "arse coverers", certainly not in every instance.

It seems that you may have been on the end of one of the actions deemed to be "inadequate" - but it is not the case ALL the time.

Where did I say "in every instance"? And I have not been on the end of an "inadequate" situation with either of the organisations I mentioned. But I certainly have experience with both.

But if every issue of the Institute's "trade" magazine throws up a bad egg they must be clean:rolleyes: Maybe I should read it in more detail, it comes through my letterbox every month.

If it is any consolation, I reckon the docs take some beating;)

  10. No, but I'm not making any claims about whether the action will be adequate or not.

Wow. That's some claim. You have an opinion on ALL self-regulatory bodies?

I've seen plenty of examples where adequate action is taken. I've seen some where the action taken is over the top. My experience is that they are like everything else. A few not up to it but mostly good., but I couldn't claim to have an opinion on them all. :)

I only have an opinion and experience of 2 such bodies. The Law Society of Scotland and the lovely CA chaps.

    Shambles and arse coverers, both.

  11. Don't berate you whilst you berate thousands? Best to simply not bother going back for 1 game a season if it pisses you off that much. Must be terribly changed days indeed from when you attended games on a regular basis a few years back.

But if it was merely the Govan that irked you so much go to that Copeland place you keep referring to, maybe you will be happy there - wherever there is....oops, just noticed 'Rangers end' in brackets. All is well after all, every 'end' at Ibrox is ours.

  12. What I can't exactly understand is that people equate Grier's involvement with D&P's in general work and thus Clark & Whitehouse's work now. Of course, there could be some internal discussions and conspiracies taking place between them, but unless Grier is directly involved in the administration process or somesuch can be revealed, a lot of conjecture is required to link one employee of the company who did one thing to something else done by other employers with no insight half a year later. But our conspiracy gurus will tell me the truth soon enough, I think. For D&P are "at it" ... no matter what "it" actually is.

There are different rules regarding partners in the firm. "I didn't know because my partner in this prestigious financial organisation did it" will not wash this one away.

Grier and D+P will have to explain his involvement and dealings with CW from back at the beginning - late 2010? to date.

  13. Personally I find BH's concerns a bit OTT - I'm sure the guy can manage both directorships easily enough - as do many similar people throughout the business world. If you don't like this or argue his value is subsequently poor, then it's easy enough to move your business elsewhere.

As for suggestions that this forum is fast becoming some sort of joke, well I'd suggest 12 years of involvement in the online community - including representation within a variety of supporter led projects - is perhaps more indicative of its quality than one thread where most people disagree with the point being made.

But, hey, everyone's entitled to their opinion here and there are plenty of other forums to use if you don't like this one.

I can only base my opinion on my time reading on here. I take it you do not really think I formed an opinion on the basis of a single thread? Far from it, I can assure you.

But since longevity is your benchmark of quality and success then well done on the 12 years, it must put Gersnet up there.

  14. 2 posts, been a member for 11 months and you come to that conclusion? That is, frankly, a farcical statement.

What is farcical, reading for 11 months and deciding it isn't the world's bestest Rangers forum or only posting twice?

As you have no doubt guessed, there is reason enough for me not posting frequently. Only, imo, the absurd nature of the 1 st post in this thread made me go for a 2nd ever post.

  15. Nice of you to comment that the forum is 'fast becoming a joke' & then end with a cheap and completely irrelevant dig at the OP.

At the end of the day, forums are a great tool for sharing any information that one has on the subject around which the forum is based. BH gained some information & shared it with the forum. Whether people agree or disagree with the way in which the information was gained is, IMO, irrelevant to the information gained as said information remains the same regardless. Although the contact from BH was about John Bennet, the thread in general was about PM & the possibility that he was being less than truthful about the level of investment/investors involved in TBK's (at least that's how it reads to me anyways).

I think that alot of the negativity towards BH is uncalled for and, IMO, it is the negativity directed towards someone for sharing first hand information which would constitute a forum to be a joke (which this isn't).

Given the nature of the op, I do not think that the content of my post was cheap and completely irrelevant at all. All about opinions.

  16. We don't need to know every detail of their lives. But I think we are entitled to know:

    • How much each party or consortium is going to invest.
    • The terms of that investment and in particular whether or not the individuals want to be a Director of the Club
    • Their CV or at least their qualifications and experience.
    • Whether they intend to be an active or passive investor.

He could be but that is not what he suggested at outset, becasue of the size of his proposed investment/committment and what he expected in return.

Of course if he scaled back his investment and ambitions then it might be an option for him.

What a load of crap. The guy can invest what he wants with what ever ambition he has. And I doubt he is expecting a return if he chooses to invest.

His day to day involvement may, just may, be an issue (how is his returns so far?) but quite frankly the rest of what you reckon you are entitled to know is near unbelievable.

Pathetic thread. How much did your holiday to Spain cost, did you use your clients funds to pay for it? Or maybe just increase your commission to help it along? How can you possibly give sound ifa when your thoughts were on your upcoming jolly? Hope you get a nice wind down period when you return.

This forum is fast becoming a joke when garbage like this is so welcomed.

Did you leave or did the RST kick you out btw?

  17. I'm hopeful the JJB agreement will be re-visited.

We would be well within our rights to tear it up.

Also the Shirt make could be then looked at.

Why would we want to rip it up at this time?
