A CVA wouldn't be out if it didn't have the funding, like the courts would allow that.

CW – There is no obligation to keep the name of “Murray Park”.

I think someone at the club must have put Green up to this name change malarkey on the basis that it would appease a large section of fans. I don't see any other justification for it when his consortium don't even own the club yet. Some brass neck if it was his idea.

Even if all the first team squad are punted the debt is just so high and HMRC want their money now, and will want their EBT money straight away if the tribunal goes against us.

I don't see any great pressure from hmrc.

its not a matter of budgeting for it but comparing the comparative costs of a newco and cva.

newco costs 3 million less up front but I contest you lose out on 3 or more times that out of the euro ban it brings.

the uefa cup group stage should be achievable even in much harder times.

we made around 2 million from Europe this season from qualifiers.

If a CVA was so much more agreeable (other than from our emotional perspective) I think all would have been opting for it well before now.

I think whytes shares are the reason its preferable to some.

I reckon most bidders will realise that not only is a newco cheaper but the expectations associated with it can be managed more easily given there would be no Euro football etc.

 

Businessmen (even TBK) will not allow sentiment to come into it.

If HMRC were willing to do small gradual pay back schemes the tax case wouldn't be such a worry.
