I never waffle I say exactly what I think always. Its all piffle mind you.

frankly I wouldnt be surprised if most season book holders want it kept as Murray park.

That's exactly what it'll be. One of those homer moments where someone chimes in with their great idea, but everyone is too nice to tell them to STFU.
I certainly hope that's the case and he didn't get it from whyte.

sadly simply the best is right. this is easily the best thing greens come up with so far.

VB – What is the legal/contractual position of “Murray Park”? Can is be put to the fans to rename, perhaps as a symbol of a new era?
CW – There is no obligation to keep the name of “Murray Park”.

I think someone at the club must have put Green up to this name change malarkey on the basis that it would appease a large section of fans. I don't see any other justification for it when his consortium don't even own the club yet. Some brass neck if it was his idea.
its like gladiator. 100 days of games and free bread.
I suspect he got the idea from people previously harping on about it at meetings.
either that or whyte gave him it.

the choices on the academy name are almost as poor as the timing and nature of the decision to change it at all.
pathetic stuff.

No your right, somebody buying the club and selling it on if it works later as the club would have to be in a good state sounds rubbish to me. Your right mate lets just get rid of them and let the club fold, that sounds so much better.
when did he do that?
actions not words go in the good v bad ledger.

I can think of a million things is rather hear about than the name of a training academy.
like who owns it post takeover.
its like whytes last meeting with vb all over again.

neither are great options and he's renaming stuff he doesn't even own.
pap.

but Murray parks vetting renamed. so its all good.

Can you please stop using your personal objection for this guy as fact.
tell me the plusses. tangible ones.

Will be any time i'm sure.
no one hits you with a bill for millions and expects immediate payment.

HMRC might not be publically calling us out but I seriously doubt they're willing to be patient, especially where the EBT case is concerned.
we don't even have a result of that yet.

Sorry GS but I just can't agree with your assertion that we can go along in administration for months.
Even if all the first team squad are punted the debt is just so high and HMRC want their money now, and will want their EBT money straight away if the tribunal goes against us.
I don't see any great pressure from hmrc.
even so its possible to make payments to them. people just imagine that we have to come out of admin but its not necessarily true.

rangers didn't die under whyte we won't die under green.
we won't die if we stay in admin.
its far more important we get the right owners and prosper for the next 2 decades or whatever than we get a new owner any owner asap.
I'm not saying greens not the right owner only that desperation is no reason to back him.

Even during the big spending days all Scottish teams have consistently failed to qualify for group stages. We need to live within our means and not budget for European football.
its not a matter of budgeting for it but comparing the comparative costs of a newco and cva.
newco costs 3 million less up front but I contest you lose out on 3 or more times that out of the euro ban it brings.
0 -
the uefa cup group stage should be achievable even in much harder times.
0 -
we made around 2 million from Europe this season from qualifiers.
4 million I figure is group stages.

Hey, I'm not a businessman, lads!
If a CVA was so much more agreeable (other than from our emotional perspective) I think all would have been opting for it well before now.
I think whytes shares are the reason its preferable to some.

I reckon most bidders will realise that not only is a newco cheaper but the expectations associated with it can be managed more easily given there would be no Euro football etc.
Businessmen (even TBK) will not allow sentiment to come into it.
how much cheaper though.
even mild participation in the uefa cup is wort 4 million a season.
then you need to factor in lost sponsordhip/profile.
drop in co efficient.
lost attractivness to players.
it would need to be a lot cheaper.

And you don't think that makes all the difference?
If HMRC were willing to do small gradual pay back schemes the tax case wouldn't be such a worry.
not to the morality of it, but certainly to the practicality of it.
if its the worst thing green does he will work out fine. of course if its the thin end of the wedge.

with any new owner their will be a plusses and minuses column.
so far green only has minuses. perhaps today and on the 14th he cas start building a few pluses.

I am afraid that's wishful thinking the courts have no say in it.
