I don't know what this adds up to but it's at least mildly interesting.....

Yet he has amassed 10 or 12 points less than celtc since arriving.

And at a good age, with possible re-sale value.  His injury history was, IMHO, a risk worth taking.

I still felt that Souttar was brought in predominantly because the club thought Goldson wouldnt sign a new deal.

    all good reasons also.

I think we would have signed him either way.

Injurys are a risk but worth it.

  3. I've seen videos of tav wincing in pain while warming up in the last 2 games. looks to be his ankle but that's less clear.

He is not fine and I can't see the value in lying here.

He is clearly playing well within himself too.

I'm not his biggest fan and still maintain he should've been sacked after Ajax but domestically, points wise, he's doing a relatively good job.  8 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss is a good start.

We are also effectively 3 points behind celtc and lost 4 nil too them.

But lets also factor in performance.

It's mid-October and we're 2 points behind the leaders, so we are very much in it.

I think we have a perhaps 0.01% chance of winning it with Gio in charge. Even then it would need celtc to lose their manager.

I seriously doubt the board will sack GvB when we're still in the hunt for the title.

Not that I agree with the strategy.

Do you think we are in the hunt for the title?
