Since qualifying for CL, we haven't laid a glove on any decent opposition.

    Cumulative 0-13 in 4 games.

The players believe they can beat provincial clubs in Scotland but don't seem to carry that belief into bigger challenges.

You could argue Napoli at Ibrox was better than the rest, so maybe it is in part down to the negative approach to difficult away games.

Negative rather than pragmatic. For example, under WS there was an organised and pragmatic approach that players bought into.

    Getting closer every game though:)

  2. Davies was fine too.

    Jack pretty good.

only really Matondo was poor and he hit the post and put in a great ball for Colak that he should have scored from.

    Very encouraging domestically at least.

Went for Lundstram. He kept it simple throughout and IMO kept us on the front foot.

Goldson played well and Sakala had a good second half.

Goalak does what he does and scored 2 good goals.

Ridvan looks good going forward and made some good runs into the opposition box.

Ridvan had at least 3 bits of quality defending too.

  4. Colak for me.

Goldson looks much better with a strong partner. As he always has in fairness.

Sakala started slow but had a fine second half.

Lundstrum ran the show and dictated a good tempo.

    Yilmaz decent cameo.

Looking back though, didn’t we have little choice ?
I was dead against us going to the bottom league because I didn’t think it was affordable. I’m still of that opinion. It caused us a lot of financial damage & prevented us building a team to compete in the top division when we returned

I am purely talking about on the park.

At the start of this season I was adamant McLaughlin had to be given his chance. Unfortunately, what he did with that chance convinced me he was unlikely to be the one to inherit McGregor's gloves. Now I'd like to see what McCrorie can do.

    Same here.

  7. Surprised by this as well and interested.

We should get him out on loan and playing asap.

perhaps the plan is next year for him to number 1 and let Mclaughlan go. Or to retain Greiggs and he is moved up to 2.

I saw a video last night of 40 Greiggs saves. He is simply ridiculous.

Anyway lets get the lad playing. Frankly i would be happy for him to play half the remaining league games this season.

It’s McLaughlin. Who didn’t play last weekend, didn’t play at Anfield and won’t play against St Mirren.

We may as fans have to accept that we will not get a replacement as good.

Maybe not right now with the way Greiggs looks, maybe not next year as i suggest but at some point relatively soon we will have another keeper and it's unlikely he will be this good.

Ah ok, I think they are being generous I'm sure it uses some sort of logic to work out the costs.

you could have bought our whole team for what celtc paid for CCV.

But we are valued more than celtc lol

The club didn’t just discover McGregor’s age five minutes ago. They should and could have addressed this at least a year ago. The fact they didn’t should give you less confidence in them doing so in the next year than you appear to have. Allan McGregor is an amazing keeper but it can’t be expected to go on.

    They did, they signed Mclauglan
