  1. It's the Liverpool aftermath for me but does that mean it's working regardless and will arrive at kickoff?
  2. Asking for an access code.. not in the stars this! Knew I shoulda just went today but fucking dying with the cold
  3. Got that but how do I get the link into it?
  4. Not working for me But in the top link I've got Setanta showing on screen without clicking the media player link.. what's on there after it?
  5. Strachan sent McGhee DVD's of Nancy to help them against them in Europe.. must be the thank you, this.
  6. Losing count mate. I've actually given up on coupons altogether to be honest. 2nd week of the season I had 4 out of 5 on a coupon I had stuck £20 on because I really fancied it and fucking Airdrie gubbed me. Then Argentina did me a week ago when they drew at home to Paraguay. Just so sick of one team doing me. When I do pick it up again I'm going to start perming my bets so that I still get a return for four from five and what-not. I agree with what Jon says about betting so early in the season.. the amount of dodgy results all over the place is unreal. And a random point.. I know someone who has £1000 on Terry Venables to be the new manager of Newcastle at 33/1. He put it on 2 days ago and only yesterday Venables had been cut to 9/1 with us but was still sitting around 16/1 with others. And the fact that Keegan and Ashley held talks yesterday makes it seem all the more ridiculous.
  7. Just a point I've been thinking of over the past couple of days with this whole Newcastle situation and to a lesser extent, the situation at West Ham. Kevin Keegan resigned this evening after basically revealing that the players brought in this summer (a couple at least) where not choices of his, and that more worryingly, he didn't sanction the sale of James Milner to Aston Villa. Now I know there's still elements of doubt over who was the catalyst behind the sales of Hutton and more recently Cuellar, but it's always been my opinion that both were good business. £9m for a right back is good money in anyone's book and £8m for someone who didn't want to be there can't be baulked at. Only yesterday, Curbishley walked out of West Ham after revealing he was told Anton Ferdinand would be the last player he would have to sell, only to see George McCartney sold on deadline day. Point I'm trying to make is, this is happening more and more often. Yes, these uber-rich and mainly foreign owners who come into clubs these days may have the funds, but especially considering they never seem to last, is a bit of money really worth sacrificing the dignity of a Club? Some may not like Murray, but there's never been a hint of him interfering in team business and he never would. I've got my negative opinions on certain things concerning Mr. Chairman but to be completely honest, the more I see what goes on elsewhere, he's looking better and better to me every day. Say what you like about him but the question is.. if we were taken over by some foreigner who was splashing cash on players the manager didn't want, seeing managers come and go under his reign and turning the club to turmoil.. which option seems better?
  8. Terrific idea. Good report aswell. Can I just mention how happy I am that of all the players to be 'megged by Mendes shot I couldn't of picked anyone better than Hartley.
  9. They do.. Liverpool were very average for the most part.
  10. Just giving this a wee bump in the hope someone else has Sky Sports News on the now. Is it me or is the guy on the right wearing the £8 tie from above? Bear in hiding.
  11. I do despise our website. For example, on the squad profiles page it still has Cuellar listed as an active player wearing number 4 whereas Mendes is down the bottom as number 30 even though he clearly wore 4 today.
  12. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=6l9BFJYiPxA Fucking cringeworthy. The hell is he thinking?
  13. Everytime I see wee prick I miss Alan Hutton. Hutton used to fucking rape him every time we played them.
  14. A midfield of me, you, Gribz and Gav would excite me more than Dailly, Adam and Lee.
  15. As much confidence as I've lost in Walter.. if he looks at the likes of Adam in training then turns around and sees Aaron.. only Stevie Wonder could play Adam ahead of him. I refuse to believe Walter is stupid.. class shines through and the likes of Aaron and Mendes will overpower the lightweights.
  16. Gribz, I think you're seriously under-rating this Spanish kid. You talk about 19 as if it's 15. Messi, Ronaldo, Rooney, you name it.. all regulars at 19. Now I know they're a class above but it's not exactly juvenile. Plus, I was an avid viewer of the Eurosport coverage of the Under 19 Euros last year and this kid was the standout. Give him 2 days training in front of Walter and he'll be considered for the first team. Brought on a couple of times in games then he'll be a starter.. I have no doubt about it. And Valencia would of seeked assurances that he was going to play before sending him on loan to us. It does him nor them any favours to have him on the bench so if we had no intention of playing him, they'd of sent him somewhere else. He'll play.
  17. It's no coincidence Lawell et al go after our targets. Anyone saying they don't do it partially to fuck us over is lying. I was going to say we should of got them back by nabbing Tamas now but I think he's agreed to go back to Romania on loan to Dinamo Bucharest.
  18. RANGERS Chairman Sir David Murray has spoken exclusively to the official web site and you can watch the whole interview for free. Make sure you log in after 1pm and you will be able to see a full and frank interview with the Chairman. He talks openly about the sale of Carlos Cuellar; he insists no more key players will be sold; he has pledged new players will be brought in and he has called on supporters NOT to trust gossip on unofficial web sites and phone-ins. Murray has reiterated his intention to sell the club but he has insisted he will only sell to the right people and has called on potential purchasers to come forward and put their money down on the table. IT'S THE INTERVIEW THEY ALL WANTED. YOU CAN WATCH IT ALL FOR FREE AFTER 1PM. http://www.rangers.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/NewsDetail/0,,5~1365970,00.html
  19. Stoke City boss Tony Pulis has revealed the club 'came close' to signing Carlos Cuellar from Rangers. Spanish defender Cuellar completed his £7.8million transfer to Aston Villa on Tuesday, penning a four-year contract with his new club. However, Pulis has confirmed that Stoke were in the running to land the 26-year-old's services before they lost out to their Premier League rivals. "Yes, we did come close to signing Rangers star Carlos Cuellar," Pulis told The Sentinel. "We did make inquiries and I was more than confident. But once you hear that a club of Villa's size are in for him big time you clearly fear the worst. "Of course it's disappointing, but there is no point dwelling on it. We are out there not just looking, but making serious attempts to bring new faces in. "No-one needs to tell me what we need and when we need it by, but I will not be panicked into doing the wrong deals for this football club. And by wrong I mean in a footballing and financial sense."
  20. Rangers are ready to lift the gloom over Ibrox with a £4m swoop for Palermo's Australian international midfielder Mark Bresciano. (Scottish Sun) French side Lille have turned down the opportunity to sign Rangers outcast Gabon striker Daniel Cousin. (Scottish Daily Express) Rangers are moving quickly to spend £5m of the Carlos Cuellar transfer fee on long-term targets Steve Davis and Glenn Loovens. (Scottish Daily Mirror) Walter Smith has been handed a £10m warchest to strengthen Rangers - and Cardiff City's Dutch defender, Glenn Looven's, is top of the wanted list as a replacement for Carlos Cuellar. (Scottish Daily Express) Rangers are to make a straight £2.5m cash bid for Cardiff's Dutch defender Glenn Loovens. (The Western Mail)
  21. I like it.. could they of got two worse models though?
