  1. How this is still only 1-0 I have no idea.
  2. That's never a penalty. Not complaining mind you.
  3. Barry looks like he's cracked a rib or something..
  4. A mystery indeed. See, this is the downside of it. Maccabi are having a lot of the ball now and we're playing 4-5-1 and having very little going forward. It's just all about finding the balance.
  5. He looks like a French revolution soldier boy. But yeah, I'd agree with that. Teams like Livorno and Maccabi will try and play a bit more and let us play around them, as opposed to the likes of Motherwell ad Caley Thistle who'll try and ruffle our feathers a bit more and make us break them down.
  6. Aye it's been quiet everytime I've been there for God knows how long. Not so much on the Champions League nights. But I was just saying, people will come into this thread tomorrow and say: "I was there, you weren't. So shut it". You know what they're like And why the fuck can we not play to this standard for 90 minutes and on a more consistent basis?
  7. We've not got the right to critisise the atmosphere because we're not there I guess.. but it does sound quiet.
  8. Lionel had a problem in the warm-up. Hate to say it, you never like to see someone injured.. but thank fuck. Should be 1-0 down..
  9. Bastard. We'll get done 7-0 now. Nothing's a liability.
  10. The Utter Twins wearing 8 and 9 are talented. Better than the de Boer's they say.
  11. When Danny Webber is taking your penalities, you know it's trouble.
  12. Many will view this as "clutching at straws".. but optimism is never a bad thing.
  13. I wasn't talking about the difference of opinion between manager and captain. THAT is a problem. I was focusing on the "argument" between Smith and Ferguson. As long as it's only football related, there's nothing wrong with one or two players having a fairly heated discussion about what's going on on the park.
  14. Nothing wrong with this at all. Unless Ferguson was personally slating Smith, this kind of thing is perfectly normal. The most successful captain in British footballs more recent history would have to be Keane at United, and this kind of thing happened more often than not with him. Basically, I wouldn't read too much into it.

    What now???

Gotta agree Gribz, although Charlie Adam IS a genuine midfielder. In his best season to date (last season at St. Mirren), he was always either on the left or in the middle of a midfield 4.
  16. In fairness, we were denied a stone-wall penalty in the last few minutes. But with this and the Hearts score.. if Celtic win their game in hand and it'll be EXTREMELY hard for either ourselves or Hearts to catch them. As if it wasn't an uphill task before today.
  17. Never helped much did it?
  18. Letizi Hutton J-Rod Papac Smith Adam Ferguson Hemdani Buffel Novo Boyd
  19. I've always thought a confident Novo could cause any defense problems, he's just been devoid of it lately.
  20. He's of the rare breed where he plays outstandingly for his National side, but he's fairly mediocre at Leeds for the most part.
  21. Wee Fraser's a good lad. And I'll sarky bassa ye!
  22. Paul Robinson's on a 7 year one aswell.
  23. I THINK.. It's used in the actual World Cup's. Pretty sure they use the teams participating in the competitions past World Cup achievments or lack there-of to determine which side of the draw they'll be on. ie. If we were at the last World Cup, we would of been very likely to be in the same half of the draw as Brazil.
  24. It's your past qualifying record. Hence the worry when we were doing so badly that we would again fail to qualify, and fall down a pot for the WC Qualifiers, making it 99% likely we would get a group with three big names in it, and the "best of the rest", making it impossible to qualify.
