  1. What possible pleasure do these idiots get from impersonating Rangers fans? If that really gives you pleasure, it's time to re-evaluate your life.
  2. Didn't think any creditor could add penalties or fines to outstanding debts once you enter into Administration?
  3. Rangers sign World Cup Winner and Serie A star! Get it right up you Celtic, the SFA, Mark Guidi, Graham Spiers et al.
  4. We'd all have a case for being victims of anti-British racism and discrimination (those who live in Scotland I should say). If we weren't so bloody tolerant and passive we'd be a real force. Right now the SNP are attempting to dismantle the Union and the motivation behind it is anti-British hatred. Once Salmond is defeated (and I sincerely think he will) then it will be time to take off the gloves and vigorously promote our British identity and culture. Those who do not like will be the ones to be marginalised as bigots. Cases of anti-British racism should be reported to the police and cases of discrimination in the work place reported to bosses. It's what they have done to us after all.
  5. Nail, head etc.
  6. I get the feeling that he's under a wee bit of pressure...I hope so.
  7. What a strange notion. I should just go about my business accepting everything and if I come across anybody who thinks that they are better, I should just get out of their way? Not in my world.
  8. Jeezo, some of the comments beggar belief. It's almost as if they've invested so much energy into wishing us dead that they never noticed themselves crossing the line into madness.
  9. Tits just aren't big enough I'm afraid. Sure she can afford to go and get them done now though.
  10. I get that mate and to an extent I agree but I just wish we could be proud of being British without having to bend the knee to the ruling classes. I'll never feel comfortable with the notion that anybody is "better" than me and a Monarchy is all about superiority.
  11. I'll take that as a "no" then.
  12. Maybe the passing of Uranus would cheer everyone up?
  13. The last time it happened, an inordinate amount of murders and violent assaults occurred in some places.
  14. How proud you all are of the Saxe-Coburg-Gotha's! A Saxon warrior clan who bullied, murdered and married their way to to the top of the aristocratic world and now live in luxury and privilege reigning supreme over a modern capitalist democracy. It's absurd.
  15. How does this Protestant ethos manifest itself nowadays fs?
  16. I'd rather see them gain a sense of perspective and demonstrate true selflessness, relinquishing their feudal control. The history would take care of itself it's history after all. Versailles is still one of the top tourist attractions in the world and there hasn't been a King or Queen in it since the revolution. Not sure what that's got to do with it. Your family deserve immense credit for working hard and making a success of themselves, we live in a democratic capitalist society and we are all free to make of our lives what we can. These latest Royals are just the offspring of the previous ruling families who've never had to earn a living for generations. Everything is given to them and nothing is earned. Obviously a made up statistic however if you could take a quick survey of 1m people around the world (all corners of all continents) I'd be comfortable saying that the vast majority of them wouldn't know what a Jubilee was never mind that it just happened. Leave it with me. Do you have solid figures that back up why that might be?
  17. Facts...hmmm. Firstly, not having a Monarchy doesn't make you a Republic and certainly not in the sense that Casey implied. Secondly, the financial argument is flawed, there is no proof whatsoever that the Royals are a nett gain to our economy and plenty of evidence that they cost us as a nation £50m+ per year. The rest of the world do not look up to us for having a Royal family in fact 99.9% of people out there probably have no idea that it's her Jubilee year, they are as irrelevant to the rest of the world as they are to me. How bad does the global financial crisis have to get before it's considered vulgar for one family to be immunised from it and live out their lives in privileged luxury? I'd say that point is here but fair play to anyone that disagrees, we live in a democracy don't we?
  18. Where to start with this...?
  19. If you were born into that gig you'd cling on to it for 60 years as well. Millions of people work hard and serve their country, some even give their lives to defending it but they are not rewarded with lives of luxury and privilege. In the years to come things are going to get very difficult for a lot of people, energy shortages, economic collapse, poverty and health system privatisation. What will the Royal family contribute to helping out in these areas? It won't be an awful lot I promise you.
  20. If Neil Lennon and his clubs consistent intimidation and questioning of referee's leading directly to a referee strike two seasons ago wasn't bringing the game into disrepute then I really fail to see how anything we've done can be seen as worse. We had to get foreign referee's in to keep the league going ffs. Why was there never an investigation into why they went on strike? More should have and probably still should be made of this, it's been swept under the carpet so well that there's no lumps left to see.
  21. Sorry for pulling you up Pete but the part in bold makes me cringe...I have no problem with genuine religious people per se but as a fierce Atheist I will happily explain to them why it's all nonsense all day long however, let's be honest here and say that most (not all) of the Rangers fans who declare themselves Protestant are no more so than the mhanky hordes are Catholic. It's used as a weapon against the other side pure and simple. It's the same with all this recent Royal love, it's only amped up to serve as a tool to wind up "the bheasts". I know there are lots of moderate Protestant Rangers fans out there and I apologise for tarring them with the same brush but 25+ years of supporting Rangers and living in West Central Scotland have shown me that these folks are few and far between. It's time to be upfront and honest about this stuff, we're changing as a club and now is a crucial time for our support. The siege mentality has brought out the worst in FTP brigade. I used to be one of them many years ago and only last night entertained family and friends with a rendition of Build My Galllows etc after a few beers, as Frankie says party songs don't make you a bigot. Using a fake loyalty to a religious sect as a weapon against another does though.
  22. I'll be interested to see what Rangers Standard is about, I hope it's a step towards detaching ourselves from the narrow minded nonsense that has blighted us for generations. I can but hope!
  23. I have a real problem with bending the knee to any man (or woman) and so for me the Royals are a relic of an ancient feudal past. Irrelevant.
  24. What a sad, depressing thread.
  25. but but but....our crimes are only slightly less serious than match fixing. I dread to think what the SFA would do if that was to happen. Hanging? Public Stoning?
