He's the same size as most of them for a start.

It's interesting that even Bilbao fans who live in the Basque region don't stoop so low as to sing pro-ETA songs at the football. A more closely linked group of people to a separatist terrorist group you will not find but even they are able to show some dignity and keep it away from their football club. What a contrast from a group of people who have tenuous at best links with a republican terror gang and choose to blight themselves and Scottish Football with it.

Lawell has proved what we all know to be true anyway, Celtic have a small club mentality and are too busy pandering their own lunatic element to conduct themselves in a distinguished, respectful manner. As a wise man once said "they are a bunch of cunts".

Brian Kennedy steps up Gers interest - Souness involved?
Juancornetto replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Poor guy has lost £2.7 Billion in the last week. I did wonder when it was shown as £3,000 million...who puts it like that? Nobody ever says's Abramovich is worth £8,000 million. -
I'm guessing the hysterical public outcry wouldn't have been so intense if it was reported that some putty, a few nails and Casio watch was sent to Neil Lennon. It was noticeable how quickly and frequently that phrase "viable device" was used. The mind boggles.

Dismayed by some of my fellow "fans".
Juancornetto replied to Max Rebo's Big Blue Nose's topic in Rangers Chat
Good to see a bit of healthy debate about these things, I feel I may have lit the touch paper a bit but I make no apologies for being forthright. I was considering starting a thread along the same lines as Max Rebo lately but decided against it being a new poster and because I don't think my views are necessarily palatable to some. Since we've been in Admin and the fans have become more defiant and supportive I've been dismayed at the tone of some of it and this culminated in TBB getting a public airing and the SPL latching onto it. I could feel it brewing before that game and I can feel it simmering away in the background now. I just hope it stays in the background. It makes me sick thinking about the lengths the Celtic minded will go to attack "us" and I know how deep the hatred is for anything that doesn't fit their subversive little agenda but leave the hysterics to them. Let them shame themselves and their club with their IRA filth every week, what they crave will never happen anyway. Rangers will not just go bang and disappear...the wider world has seen the extent of their hate for Rangers and plenty high profile eyes will have been opened in these last few weeks. As much as we have a portion of the underclass amongst our numbers I firmly believe they have the bulk of the bottom 5%. -
My heads scrambled with it all to be honest.

Hell yeah. The media would dance to his tune or go elsewhere and Lennon would shite himself from shaking hands with him. Legend. -

No one likes him, he doesn't care :-) For what it's worth I'm starting to think "so what?" to a lot of what's gone on recently and without the gutter press's sensational nonsense to distort the picture what really has he done wrong? This was never going to be pretty and sure enough it's not. There will be more to come but the big picture and the long term future is what interests me, if that is secured BECAUSE of Craig Whyte's actions what will people do then I wonder?

Unfortunately there is a large and growing underclass in this country and some of them support Rangers, there's no getting away from it. I wouldn't worry about it Max. I couldn't care less about the Monarchy, Northern Ireland or The Orange Order and to some that makes me less of a Rangers fan than them but they couldn't be more wrong. This is why I wouldn't contemplate frequenting ANY other Rangers forum. -
Is it me or is it noticeable that the gutter media have been starved of information since we entered Administration? I hear the NOTW 2 lead with the exclusive that Rangers may have abused EBT's to pay players...and now I see that according to the Sunday Mail, (a skint) Craig Whyte went into hiding in his own house in Monaco. Have Duff and Phelps indirectly plugged a leak?

Bank the money and bring in an unknown 16 year old from Ligue 1 :-)

I'd be willing to bet decent money that this team will never take the field. Ortiz is in Spain back on loan is he not?

The Norn Irish accent on a woman is a massive turn on, I must go to Belfast for a wee cheap city break soon. Without the girlfriend of course :-)

Apologies for bringing up the dreaded Whyte word but he showed that would take on the SFA and SPL and not allow Rangers fans to be demonised, let's hope the next Chairman will have the balls to stand up and defend us. The progress that has been made at Rangers home and away is NEVER given any credit for fear of upsetting the scum and their array of attack dogs (Lawell, McBride, etc) I wish I had an answer to this but it will get worse and worse while we are not represented in the SFA. Between the SFA's disciplinary procedures and their complete capitulation to Celtic they are not fit for purpose. I hope this investigation turns up some real wrongdoing on their part and the whole thing blows up in their face.

More bad news in today's Record - Whyte's lawyers not cooperating
Juancornetto replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
The administrators come out and say things are positive with the club. The gutter press couldn't possibly have that so out comes the rumour and innuendo, these people are trying to set the tone and keep the fans whipped into a frenzy....to sell more papers. Sad that it still works in this day and age. -
To be fair I haven't seen anything directly from TBO so strike them from the list, my point was more about general friction between groups. Given a bit of time and some up front communication maybe it can be resolved.
-
Sad to see that already there is dissent from other fans groups (VB,UB,BO) and this is why nothing like this will ever get off the ground, too many people who think they are bigger/better Rangers fans than anybody else. Fans shouldn't be in charge of football clubs, business minds should. I have registered though but would be reluctant to part with money until I know exactly what it's purpose is.
-
Made mine too. It will be funny to see the number that is pledged...eleventeen trillion £££'s or thereabouts I would imagine. Let's see what comes of it.

We're all looking at the youth team as a source of hope for the immediate future so I'm sure this thread will see plenty of interest now. It's disappointing to read that there aren't any real prospects for the first team but I'm sure there is some talent in the U19's and U17's that we'll hear about over the coming weeks and months. I have my doubts about whether the current management team will be brave enough to blood some of these kids but they might not have much of a choice in the matter.

Craig Whyte sells/sold a piece of our history?
Juancornetto replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
I only heard about the Arsenal shares in the last couple of years but it still feels like a wrench to see that little bit of history go. It will get a lot worse before it gets better though.
