  1. A few players I'd take highlighted above. Quite a few good quality keepers on that list like Heurelho Gomes and Chris Kirkland and I noticed Rhys McCabe on the list released by Sheff Wednesday.

I think fitness played a big part in him disappearing in a few games last season. He was only about 70%-80% match fit in my unscientific estimation. He'd be a good signing if he was played on the right side of an attacking three and given a specific job to do rather than just let loose to do as he pleased.
  3. Lazing around the pool on holiday in Turkey, had written it off and watched the Galatasary v Fenerbahce game on Turkish TV with the hotel staff and then I started getting texts.... Long story short, Fenerbache basically did the same thing and won the title on the last day and of course so did we queue a massive party with the turks, had them singing TBB etc. Never to be forgotten as long as I live.
  4. One mentalist just uttered the immortal words "apart fae the birth of ma dotter the day Rangers died wis the best day of ma life" as he calls up to talk about Rangers. They're hilarious, funnier than Richard Pryor and Louis CK combined.
  5. Not a great day all round yesterday! I received a text from the wife just as the second half got underway saying that she'd "had a wee bump just outside Braehead"....it was either a miraculous birth or she'd pranged my car. Fortunately it was the latter and I had to leave the ground and grab a taxi over to the scene. No injuries, just a bit of twisted metal and one tearful wife. By the time I got the car recovered and sorted a hire car for this week it was nearly 7pm and I went straight home, poured myself a large one and called it day. Thanks to BH for his concern and for organising the event, sounds like it was another good one.
  6. It's a moot point Neutralscot. The bar has already been set so low in the social sphere by the forever offended, and in the legal world by Frank Mulholland QC that we find ourselves having to take faux offence just to keep the tide from washing right over us.
  7. I'd imagine it's his attitude rather than his ability which has precluded him from playing a bigger role in Sheffield. Maybe with the right guidance he could come good.
  8. Ashley won't give a toss if they go down, in fact he'll have one eye on the parachute payments as it is.
  9. I listened last night for the first time in ages and wasn't disappointed...it was like a Faustian pantomime. All three panelists refused to criticize Celtic instead blaming "West of Scotland" football fans for creating the furore.
  10. This whole saga would be funny if it wasn't for the fact that we have a rogue club and it's delusional supporters running Scottish Football. With every passing incident the integrity of our entire set up is chipped away and eroded by the yahoo's and their compliant media plants.
  11. Jum likes to bait Rangers fans and then cry foul when someone calls him out. A cretin of the highest order.
  12. AIM is the Rio Stakis of share trading full of basket case companies with dodgy investors and even dodgier lawyers. I'd be delighted to leave it behind and become a private company with a few institutional investors to retain some credibility for future activity.
  13. Curry and Beer is one of life's great pleasures so I've voted for the Indian Brasserie.
  14. It is pathetic and I'll never be offended by anything sang or shouted at me in a football context however.... Whilst there is a concerted attempt to legitimise one sides use of derogatory words and songs and at the same time demonise another this stuff must be highlighted. If we don't continue to point out this hypocrisy it will only go one way and it that will be not unlike Graham Speirs' "some thoughts should be criminalised" mantra from the Offensive Behaviour Act summit at Holyrood except that only Rangers fans thoughts, language and songs will be the ones to be sanctioned.
  15. Have a look at Tropeiro on Argyle St BH, Brazilian "Churascaria" or BBQ. Plenty meat and a buffet style salad/sides bar.
  16. I'm in the "not 100% but will do my best to make it camp at the moment" Will keep an eye out for updates of date and confirm.
