  1. Javi Guerra has been touted around almost every league in Europe by his agents, Leeds were the last club to express an interest (they've got no money either). Not expecting that to materialise.
  2. I think latterly that it's become fashionable within media circles to have a go at Rangers, we are a soft target just now and perhaps we make it easy for them to detract from our on field success. However....you have petition being sent to the SFA to have our UEFA licence revoked, you have shady groups like Fare apparently using undercover operatives to bring UEFA cases against us, you have RangersTaxCase and/or Phil Gillivan doing everything in their power to attack our club pouring over financial columns and court papers desperate to find a chink in the armour plus every other bitter person out there with access to the oxygen of publicity. No one will convince me that some within the media also feel motivated enough to abuse their positions for the same "cause". It is raw hatred that drives these people and it has only been ratcheted up in recent years due to Celtic's failure to topple an almost crippled RFC.
  3. I think Andy Walker is a fantastic pundit, never allows his personal allegiance to his team get in the way of insightful, balanced commentary.
  4. It's not institutionally biased Danny, meaning it doesn't necessarily come from the top down. There is however a core of Celtic "Minded" anti-Rangers employees in there who take every opportunity to negatively report on Rangers and portray Celtic as the cutesy, charming club of the people. You only have to contrast and compare the coverage of both clubs UEFA disciplinary cased recently.....that is just one example among dozens. Here's a question...when do you guys think this campaign began? (If indeed there IS a campaign) I think it's around the same time as all. the other anti-Rangers propaganda began to manifest itself in the media and online. It seems to me that at some point 2 or 3 years ago a concerted and clandestine effort was made to attack the club in any way possible.
  5. I would like to see McGregor get a shot at a Man Utd or an Arsenal, putting aside my selfish wish for him to finish his career at Rangers. If we are going to pull in some money for him (which could potentially solve our HMRC problem in one go) it would be a move that I would reluctantly endorse. The guy deserves to play at a higher level, we all know he's got the talent.
  6. Guys. I was at a function in Mar Hall on Sunday night and the whole squad were staying there. Jelavic wasn't with the squad and neither was Bendiksen or Broadfoot, I saw them all arrive off the bus and mill about the hotel. I chatted with Bocanegra and got a photo with McCoist totally kicking myself that I never asked him what the score with Jela was although he was really good with all my party for photos and I'm sure he's for the off and therefore wasn't inlcuded in the squad. The stuff about him refusing to play is utter bollocks. I did ask Bocanegra if he was getting the armband but he just smiled and said no.
  7. We are easy touches at the moment, a decent team will run all over the top of us I fear the worst for Wednesday. Never felt so negative going into and Old Firm game, I always suspend any doubts and take the game as it comes but I will be very surprised if we don't get turned over 2-0 or 3-0. Merry Christmas!
  8. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=XLdN4a6BIpI#! Here you go....absolute madness. The big guy was ready for another attack from the steward! Can you imagine this kicking off next week?
  9. I'd happily see Whittaker sold in January to be honest and it's just not a reaction to his poor form this season. He's one of the few players we would actually get some money for since he is on a decent term contract and from all accounts there are a few interested parties. He's never a defender and has gotten where he is for his attacking play down the right and the odd wonder goal, we can't afford players like him in this team at the moment because we're not putting teams under the cosh like we used to.
  10. I really hope they get relegated in my lifetime and all the better if it's this season. They aren't the same threat they used to be to us on one off games but any promoted other team won't lie down to Celtic like they've done for the last few years. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
  11. I was thinking that other day with Jelavic, Ruiz hasn't done much at Fulham but is a fantastic player and would bang them in up here. Would love to see him play with Jelavic rather than in place of him though.
  12. Three or four of them had a go at the Ref really aggressively as well as putting Eggert Johnson off with their carry on. They are lower than a snakes belly.
  13. "Good Guy" and "Wank" buttons would get my vote.
  14. The SFA couldn't in all honesty punish Celtic after years of ignoring the problem with Rangers and Celtic in years gone by. Can you imagine the outcry if they did? Much as it pains me to admit it, we've been benefactors of the SFA's incompetence as much as Celtic are now.
  15. Anything's possible with Loovens in that back four. Celtic look good from middle to front but they are STILL rank at the back. Roll on the 28th.
  16. Lower than a snake's belly button. Scum from cradle to grave.
  17. I heard both guys had trials at Real Madras!
  18. Naismith is many times the player James Morrison will ever be. He's some singer though.
  19. Top man Zappa, that looks a lot better. Cheers
  20. I would be more than happy to let a sponsor rename Ibrox if we got £10m + out of it but as has been stated very few companies would want to single out one side of the Old Firm and risk the slabbering mhanks not spending their incapacity benefit on their products. Maybe a luxury brand would work....The Land Rover Arena perhaps???? On another note any suggestions for what The Piggery could be renamed?
  21. A small point but one that's becoming increasingly important...we seem to have embraced social media and are actually engaging with the fans a lot more. You can see that Rangers FC is starting to be turned into a marketable product again and that has almost certainly come from Craig Whyte. As for the bigger picture, it's really impossible to say until the Tax issue is sorted one way or another.
  22. Could I have a new avatar please? the one I've got just now doesn't look right on here. URL below: http://lh4.ggpht.com/_DjaZ6gx6djk/SgQzy2VUuGI/AAAAAAAABNU/TFAQinQbLEc/Rangers%20FC.png
  23. Not wishing to give the oxygen of publicity to such low life scum, but a certain anti-Rangers blogger has the tims up in arms with his latest drivel. He's now realised that Rangers cannot be incinerated and all the trophies handed to Celtic so now his attention turns to the SPL, SFA and Celtic PLC. The hordes are incensed by the notion that Celtic will play some part in "saving" Rangers by voting for their inclusion in the SPL (post Administration), threatening to rip up season tickets and other such hysterics. Entertaining stuff.
  24. And not a single child was buggered or beaten.
