  1. The wild swings from them being "world class" one week to rotten show how bad Keith Lemon is as a manager, he can't keep his mouth shut. They deserve each other.
  2. I'm sick of this whole situation, from now on I'm not going to read or listen to anything that hypothesises about what's going to happen if I can help it. Big game tomorrow and it's onwards and upwards on the park. Rant over!
  3. I was one of the anti-Lafferty crew although never gave him abuse at games etc but would have been quite prepared for him to go on loan to Blackpool or something at one point. How wrong I was! Big part of our team now.
  4. The law is surprisingly vague on this as it turns out, no doubt to leave as much ambiguity as possible to scare people into compliance. The actual wording is - "A television licence is required for each household where television programmes are watched as they are broadcast, irrespective of the signal method (terrestrial, satellite, cable or the Internet). A licence is not required, however, if you use your television only to watch DVDs or play video games, or you only watch programmes on your computer after they have been shown on TV." - Television Licensing Authority You can own a TV without a licence providing you do not watch live broadcasts. How they would prove that you do is another matter..
  5. No wonder their pointless rag is dying.
  6. People get paid for writing to this standard? Not only is the story no more than hypothetical speculation, it's written in a manner that leaves you wondering what the point is. Tripe.
  7. They were hijacked by the numbskulls years ago and are a breeding ground for ignorance. I'm not a protestant or an orangeman and for me they are negatively associated with Rangers.
  8. It's starting to dawn on them that Rangers won't just go kaboom and all our titles handed to them. Timplosion is imminent.
  9. Who's Max Devo? The matches and parades need to stop as well, there needs to be give and take as much as it would be hard to swallow. Unfortunately however the Catholic Church aren't interested in give and take and integration, they more than ever want to tighten their grip on the souls in their possession. As an Atheist I feel no shame for any negative feelings towards Catholicism, in the same way that I am proud and vocal about my disdain for all organised religion and this is the way to tackle these people. Stop with the Auto Proddy response, if you don't go to Church and practice the Protestant religion stop attaching yourself to it. Let them be the bigots against all non-Catholics.
  10. IF we do win the case you just know that there will be a massive outcry from the mutants, the entire Govt and every civil servant in the country will automatically be part of a conspiracy to help Rangers win the league. I will laugh myself into a seizure!
  11. It's already a against the law to "support" proscribed terrorist organisations. The problem is what constitutes support? Is it financial, recruitment or vocal promotion (as is the case for that shower).
  12. Interesting that Kevin is a Celtic season ticket holder. At least there's one reasoned free thinking chap amongst the hordes of small minded ignorant trash.
  13. Cheers for the links mate. Complex stuff but there are lots of reasons why this case on the face of it looks different to the Rangers scenario. The question raised by HMRC centred around whether or not the employees actually received any benefit from the EBT and whether the trust was set up as a way of ring fencing cash for use by John Caufield (Phones4U guy). The other complication centres around the fact that the EBT was looked after by one firm in Jersey and then taken over and managed by another. That and the HMRC guy is called Ronald MacDonald!
  14. Hadn't heard about that Craig, quite disturbing to think we could win the case and then face the agony of an appeal. Be interesting to glean anything from the case you mentioned, what the basis for the appeal was etc. No surrender!
  15. That was regarding image rights payments made offshore so not really a related issue. HMRC haven't won a case against the use of EBT's (Employee Benefit Trusts) yet....let's hope all the i's were dotted and t's crossed when it was put into practice by Rangers.
  16. Found this amusing little nugget while comparing Rangers and Celtic's wage bills...it's easy to see why they are so desperate to see us fold. http://www.celticquicknews.co.uk/?p=813
  17. Gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside...their only hope is a points deduction! If this case goes our way there will be mass suicides and Bernadette's all over the country will be at their "Ma's" for weeks.
  18. "I canny wit til we eff that shower of triumphalist hate-filled dirty hun bastards." How conflicted is timmy? Calls us hate filled in the same sentence as spewing hatred at us! Vermin.
  19. Never a fan of boycotts, it always comes across as a bit petty and more a timmy thing to come out with (broken crests etc) The biggest impact is to be had when BBC bosses get a whiff that their regional operation is possibly going off message.
  20. If we weren't facing financial meltdown the same could be said about the current period. On the other hand... if we get 4IAR we might not be in a position to challenge for the next two or three years ie they'd win the league by default. How hollow would that be?
  21. The message that I picked up from the Documentary last week was that Rangers won 9 in a row and have had all the success of the last 20 years because we overspent and avoided tax. The tims all think that, some of them even talk about suing Rangers for loss of earnings and trophies ffs. What did 9 in a row have to do with Craig Whyte?
  22. Mr Whyte has done a great job in lowering expectations in his short time. We are far from certain to lose the HMRC case contrary to popular belief and I would imagine that is still Plan A. Plan B has been floated and seems to meet with almost universal acceptance (Administration) but we're even now looking at how we're getting out of Administration!
