I wouldn't expect it to be like North Korea but I also would expect a level of professionalism and clear boundaries between players, staff and coaches. No wonder European clubs laugh at us.

Don't blame Macleod in the slightest. We'll struggle to make the play-offs the way we are going.
You're pure no a real Rangers man and awrat then

Looks like this is actually happening.

Got up this morning feeling quite chirpy. 30 minutes on the internet has destroyed any goodwill.
Fans are saying that they are not sure how much more they can take, well, I don't think the club can endure any more pain. We'd be better off storming Ibrox in one last fight to the death.
Good morning, Bears.
If the "well meaning investment" from Park, Letham and Taylor is rejected I think that's exactly what needs to happen. Undignified as it may be, I'd happily indulge in a bit of civil disobedience if it means we get nearer to ousting the crooks.

I'd give her a Yule Log she'd never forget!
Hope you all have a great gluttony and capitalist frenzy day :-)

Poor us. If this was a club elsewhere the directors would have been forcibly removed.
Yes but they would be stabbing each other up and down the Gallowgate instead of trading insults on fans forums.

I'm reminded of the recovered addicts consistent description of how they got back on the road to growth - they had to hit rock bottom first.
The question is, how far away from rock bottom are we? You could argue that the last few weeks have seen us plummet further down that scale and you'd be right but I'm afraid we still have a long way to fall before that point of hitting the very foundations is reached. We still have a stadium, training facility and land. We still have sponsorship, merchandise and income.
I fear some or all of those will be lost before we really hit rock bottom. Then the question will be about whether or not it's worth reviving.

Patter Lawwell to get a man in the English FA?

Something must have happened yesterday afternoon following the pre-match presser yesterday.
Someone mentioned earlier in the thread that there was a rumour Ally had a meeting Llambias and was told certain players were likely to be shipped out in the January window while a list of others whose contracts end in May/June weren't going to be offered new deals.
Then there's Mark Dingwall's piece of info that Ally's secretary who's been with the club for 40 years was made redundant and left yesterday morning having been given only the minimum redundancy pay allowed by law.
The stuff about the secretary is just bleating... do Ally and his merry band not realise that their employer is on it's financial knees? What should she have gotten? A golden clock and a holiday to the Bahamas?
I thank and applaud the lady for long her service but given the last few years of her employment I'm not sure anybody would reasonably expect a different outcome.

I was happy for about half a second when I read this, then I just got sad. I hope the scenario is resign -> in charge tonight -> gets one last Super Ally for the good times -> leaves.
What a horrible time it's been.
You know better than to expect the sensible, logical and positive to happen when it comes to Rangers mate.

What do the Board do now ??
Cant afford to sack him, cant afford to leave him in position.
Good question.

12 month notice period?
Whoever negotiated that is an evil genius....now begins the dutch auction for the amount of pay off required to terminate early.

I'd imagine that this is the public face of a private discussion. It'll be accepted and a reduced pay off or exit strategy will have been negotiated.

According to Sky Sports News......

We just need one particularly cowardly rat to stick his fellow rats in to save his own ratty skin and the whole scam will be exposed.

Oh my. Barry Hearn tears Doncaster and Co a new one in this interview about how he see's Scottish Football. The lack of sponsor, the need for a leader "totally independent from any club" and his general disdain at those in charge of our game made me chuckle.
No holds barred stuff.

Please Alistair, for the good of yours and all of our health, do the right thing by the fans who've cheered your name for two decades and leave the club. It's over.

I can pick you up if you like and we can start the party early mate.
Sounds like a plan hombre.
Are you making your poor bride drive you through and pick you up again? You're a better man than me.. mine would tell me to GTF

I'm now considering whether to go to the game now too. I've got better things to do with my time (and money) than sit and watch overpaid, under performing has-beens. Roll on tea time for some and some .

Piara Power is the football equivalent of the Anti-Gay Preacher who is then discovered having a sexual relationship with a man. The very cause he seeks to pursue against others, he is guilty of himself.

Getting refused entry to Mexico is like getting a knockback from Clatty Pat's.
Humiliation of the highest order.

That would be a brilliant appointment but I can't see it happening in the current embrace of crisis #264.

The Spanish football magazine "Don Balon" has put together a list of the Top 10 Younsgters in world football for many years and it is widely respected, if not exhaustive and they had young Lewis at No.48 above the likes of Marquinhos (PSG), Mitrovic (Anderlecht) and Lazar Markovic now of Liverpool....
He's a local lad to me and is well known for being very grounded and sensible off the pitch and so he has every chance of going on to become a Premier League level player in my view.
