  1. That is actually out of the equation. Before the oldco is liquidated, the assets (including history et al) are being transferred to the newco. This is just a business matter, not a club matter.

This is what HMRC says to the matter:

The SFA are not obliged to transfer the membership from the oldco to the newco, so yes, it is a club matter.

  2. The club what's you make it CJ, it will still be the same Rangers I watch, just because some wee Mhank or some business prick tells me it's a different club and I'm not watching Rangers but The Rangers. I couldn't give 2 flying f#^ks what they think as long as we are playing at Ibrox and wearing Royal Blue it will be my Rangers, and in a generations time my grandkids will be watching their Rangers. Having never watched another other Rangers but they will still know our proud history.

We're all free to make our own choices and call things as we see them. I won't be back.

  3. According to Hugh Keevins on Talksport, our history is gone, finished, we are no more and our history no use to anyone.

History can't be erased, that's just silly, but the club we have all grown up with just won't be the same anymore. Anyone claiming otherwise is just as silly as Keevins is.

  4. Problem is stating some is a shyster without backing it up just looks like mudslinging.

What evidence did you show? What did you propose to do about it? What alternative did you propose that would save the club?

Given the information of the last year, I can't think of a workable scenario. Something had to be done about the gorilla - it seems like Whyte thought he had found a way, but it didn't work out the way he hoped. However, the corpse of the gorilla has been delivered in any case - at a huge cost to the club. But what was the alternative?

    He did back it up!

  5. The courts scrutinize the administration so that includes the CVA, which is meant to be the end game.

Did D&P take the CVA Proposal to the courts for approval prior to it going out to the creditors?

  6. Where do you work? Bank holiday payments ceased about 5 years ago in retail. If I had the chance to refuse a day off or double time I'd be chuffed.

Southeastern trains. It was an extra public holiday, so leave with pay, or double time if worked.

  7. "I always think far too much emphasis is placed on pre-season results - lose a couple and folk are saying you are in crisis before a ball has been kicked for real.

He's learned from his mistakes last season, I see.

  8. I do understand but lets be grateful that Gideon or whoever it was didn't get his way with the £60million sodding boat he wanted to build, which would have ended up costing £600mil no doubt!

His bibles did ok, so why not a boat?

  9. Yes you are right but that is your opinion. Other people have a different opinion. I totally agree we should all respect the Queen whether we support her or not. She has only tried to do her best for the country. I personally agree with you but there are other things going like when thousands are losing their job every day, should we be paying millions for a few days celebration for the Queen. I am not against her but there are issues where I think is this all necessary.

The millions being spent on the celebrations are also helping to boost the economy, it's not as if it's all going down the drain.
