    Although the title is misleading (fancy that eh?!) in that it doesnt say Ashley has actually asked him, Mr Green is mad. Is he still in his hospital bed? The man needs to lay off the meds, stop rambling on and jog on.

    On the wage he is on (im guessing its a pretty penny), im sure we would get an adequate replacement no matter which league we're in next season. Theres a few who Id possibly want to keep to see what they can do in a new season with new management, but for the most part im quite ok with anyone over the age of 25 who is going or wants to go.

    Obviously only a couple of games in since McCall came and promotion is still a blip on the horizon, but I cant see him being with us next season. Whoever is with us next season, MUST focus on the youth. I dont recollect ever seeing Luca play, but having seen Walsh recently, there is probably more than a couple of gems in our youth setup. Youth-wise, Murray Park has been incredibly un-utilised.

    Its really a depressing world when you think of people who actually do things like that. They need a hobby, other than the hatred of a football club. I dont think King can be held in any way responsible for what happened in 2012, so his case should be straightforward.

    Given our current crop of 'experienced' (using the term loosely) players, I would think most of the youth team would be in with a shout! Walsh is extremely promising, and I know he has faded a bit recently, but we could be on to a winner with Murdoch too if he shows improvement.

    If the SFA are against it, im all for it... thats the stance I take against that shower these days. Couldnt possibly comment on the financial structure of them, and not comparing our situation to them in a million years, but Barcelona and Real Madrid seem to get by with fan ownership involved in the process.

    Half of them wouldnt have a day off if we were waiting on them getting fit! ...not that im saying they shouldnt be in every day...

    Whilst im disappointed McCulloch got a game, the fact that Walsh got a start tells me that during the training sessions he has had with these players, these were the best of a bad bunch. It just shows how much trouble we're in squad-wise. We desperately need the NU loanee's returning from injuries or the youth players to start shining through in order to turn this around, because the current team is just not up to the task.

    Its mental to me that anyone in this squad is on anything over £7-9k, nevermind £16/18k!

    If we get promoted, the manager next season, whoever it may be, has an amazing opportunity to put themselves on the map in getting Rangers to a decent position in the league. The top flight is a fair bit poorer than it has been in recent times, but the Rangers manager position still carries some weight to it, not least because of the coverage of the freefall. Also, brilliant bit of writing by the OP (well, the fellow mentioned in the OP).

    It's a disgrace that these loanees were sent to us injured, havent even seen the majority of them yet. I suppose its a compliment to our medical staff over NU's.

    He should not be offered a new contract under any circumstances.

    I feel that the time is now. A signal of intent that the club will not lie down right off the bat would be much better IMO.
