    "appetite ... for Scottish football"

So where was that "appetite" when Rangers were cast into the lower leagues? No one gives a shit about Scottish football, they're watching now because Rangers are back, no other reason.

Yes. You have to laugh at the brass neck of that statement. All those Sell Out Sundays really whetted people's appetite didn't they? Oh wait.....

  2. Deflector screens to maximum!!!

    1. Always cheated, never defeated! Oh shit, Clancy was too obvious and that's not going to work this time.

    2. What sort of evil scum sing nasty songs about something that we won't even admit exists, and anyway happened at a different club that coincidentally had the same name and the same badge and who our directors had business interests with? An entirely separate and coincidental entity. Nothing to do with us.

    3. Those evil mental health bullies in blue taking it out on poor Leigh Griffiths. That's the real story. Where's our Justice Minister????

  3. Top of the sports headlines on BBC 5 Live this lunchtime too. So there seems to be mileage in it that even Hollicom can't sweep under the carpet. Plenty of recordings of it too so Police Scotland can't simply lose the evidence like they have managed to do so often when it involves Celtic.

Celtc aren't a bad side.  They topped their EL group and Lennon has won all three trophies since Rodgers left.  They have also beaten us at the Piggery, Hampden and Ibrox in that time.

We have done well, so far, this season but I'm not getting carried away yet.  The dismal second half display at Pittodrie, dropped points against an awful Hearts team and our inability to capitalise on our dominance in the LCF are reminders that we aren't there yet.

Totally agree. We can't get carried away with anything. Sunday's win will mean nothing if we drop points in January like we did last year. I really hope we have turned a corner. I was genuinely fearful of what would play out over our December fixtures with all those critical away games and the manager and the team have proved me wrong. Let's hope lessons have been learned and we start again where we left off on Sunday.

  5. English will be getting pelters from others within the PQ gang hut for that article but seriously what else can he write? We have bossed Celtic more than they have bossed us over the last 6 Old Firm games and only bad luck and questionable refereeing have stopped that becoming blatantly obvious. Tom has simply opened his eyes to that fact at last, and is trying to do Neil Lennon's a favour and inject some urgency (and probably transfer money) into whatever they do between now and the end of the season.

Plus that journo isn't banned. He's quite entitled to enter Ibrox by paying like the rest of us.

Correct. Technically the BBC have banned themselves in a display of faux moral outrage that was never consistently applied across the organisation when other BBC journalists were asked not to attend press events by the likes of Manchester United and other EPL clubs.

  7. This scandal just gets worse and the pain for the families of the victims must be terrible.

As well as our usual banners one of the best things that our support could do on the 29th is fly banners for the Offside Trust who have called Celtic out for their inaction and obstruction of any enquiry and also a massive banner simply calling for justice for the Grey family. Neither of these would be "sectarian" or "political" - they simply highlight an independent organisation aimed at supporting the victims of child abuse in football and one Scottish family's campaign for justice for their son. Try removing them and see what idiots Police Scotland and our justice minister will look like in the eyes of any fair minded person. I personally would love to see the look of horror on the faces of Celtic's directors when faced with something like that.

What has happened to the compliance officer? she quit? been sacked by Separate Entity FC? or does she just get let out of the cupboard to fine/suspend Rangers players?.............

I think we all know that answer to that question....

She will reappear just when it's likely to hurt us most. We need to be careful with Hibs and Killie and not give them any ammunition. You bet they will want any excuse for our players to be suspended ahead of the next OF game at the Piggery.

I would be finished with football if VAR was introduced into Scottish football, who the fuck could you trust to come to the correct decision?

Nobody. They wouldn't allow anyone without a link to Celtic or at least a grudge against Rangers anywhere near the decision making.

Just give us referees and assistants who aren't selectively blind.

Agreed, however the Rangers board are still trying to build bridges to even consider what the Rangers fans think about this! so they really don't care what the Rangers fans think!

Building bridges is pointless unless we see real change at the SFA and there's precious little sign of that. If they continue to treat us with contempt then we should return the compliment.
