  1. The immediate effect thing is really interesting. Would be fucking amazing if the board pull this off. The megastore will be rammed!
  2. I'm just confused because it's terminating with Rangers Retail. Is that a specific SD vehicle? Who owns Rangers Retail - as in registered owner?
  3. How can we do this? What does it actually mean? I always get lost with this side of it. Is this a loophole?
  4. It is the epitome of an old boys club and until real change at board level is affected, our game will never truly move forward.
  5. I think Ann Budge would be a great addition to the board for several reasons, and yes one of those is actually getting a woman board member. It will be an interesting dynamic, plus I doubt she will suffer quietly if the old boys club Lawwell and etc try to railroad her. On the other hand, I'm not thrilled at the thought of us having no representation on the board. It would be nice to take a place off Aberdeen & have us & Ann Budge but I doubt that will happen.
  6. I liked that CR Smith one, but there is something about this I'm not so keen on. The white/darkblue/light blue one is quite nice though
  7. Hmmm. Bit plain looking. But then I won't be buying anyway
  8. A lot of things have changed since you were a kid I imagine. It's also very easy to sit there judging people If I work hard for my money why shouldn't I spend it how I want? Better to spend it on my son than spending it at the bookies, constantly in the pub or on fags. Seems to be this new fad to talk down people spending money on things for their kids and this idea that all children will grow up without any understanding of working for things. Thanks JTP as well, I shall check out the Lionbrand for kids.
  9. We're struggling here. THis is the first year our 8 year old wants to come to ibrox regularly (hoping to get him a ST too) and he really likes have the team kit. Do the lion brand etc do kids sizes? Terrible really I've never really looked for it, but if not this is where cashley makes his money.
  10. 20% still doesn't take it back to where it was 4 years ago does it? Bear in mind, that year on year you tend to get slight increases anyway due to costs etc, so I'm not sure it's too awful. Will wait and see though
  11. I'm sure Warbs does know what we need. Everyone does. No one surely expected that the recruitment for this season would see us through the next? It's all a bit pointless really until we know who we are signing. I hate losing as much as the next fan but we were half a yard off all night last night and many fans I know were expecting that to happen. I don't think it really told us anything we didn't already know
  12. I personally think it's sad that a young guy with a potentially decent career in front of him either took some bad advice or was easily swayed in to make a terrible move. I take no glee from it. I'm sure he knows very well the fuck up he's made. Hadn't he and his missus just had a baby? Good money is always welcome at a time like that. So yes, he's getting paid well but if he actually likes football, he won't be enjoying himself. Would he have worked well at us? Who knows, I'm not overly upset he isn't here but I've not got it in me to hate him either.
  13. Surely, if nothing else the SFA should be embarassed than in a game beamed to - apparently - over 100 million people, that banner was clearly seen. It's a pity really because the game was excellent, no real flashpoints. As for songs, we all know what is allowed and what's not allowed. Getting them stopped bringing in banners will not happen if some in our support insist on singing sectarian songs. I know the favoured term is to call the rest of us handwringers, but really just fed up of seeing the club/support being vilified and allowing authorities to look at us and not them.
  14. the Sun went with 'Warburton BEGGED'. I asked Rebecca Gray about it on twitter and she basically ignored me
  15. We did not play two games in two days. It would be ridiculous. Yes our schedule was heavy, as will Hibs' be but you do not play games on consecutive days. We'd be (more of) a laughing stock as footballing nation
  16. It's realistic. You can't play a game two days in a row. It's not like they moved it a week. Hibs potentially still have 3 games in a week. Player safety has been paramount, the risk to injuries would be huge. Plus, these are big games, hardly a spectacle if one team can barely move their legs!
  17. I think it will really help attract players, plus these loan deals with the top clubs down south could continue. As it stands we could be sending Dominic Ball (who i would LOVE to keep) & Zelalem back with 3 medals. Of course we don't want to solely rely on a loan deal but I would argue they've proved effective for us. Plus those who do go back to their club seem to still love us (Oduwa for example)
  18. At least we play Hibs this week as well so we can get an idea of where they are at
  19. We had to go back and watch the penalites a few hours later. I couldn't remember who had taken half of them! I conclude it's a much easier experience when you know your team wins haha What a day yesterday, absolutely incredible. So proud of the team. They've spent this year gradually rebuilding our reputation and yesterday was icing. I will say it also shows Warbs tactics can survive the physicality of the SPL (yes I know it's only 1 game, but pretty sure I can get carried away for once)
  20. I don't think there is any way to not construe it as racist. Given the stick we give Griffiths, I wouldn't be overly keen on having this sort of attitude at Rangers. I can't see MW would either. He doesn't appear to suffer fools.
  21. I'm not able to watch it, but will hopefully catch it later at some point. The twitter meltdown though has been joyful to see
  22. Really enjoyed last night, even if it wasn't the greatest performance. McKay really didn't have his best night but given he's usually so consistent I'm none to worried. I really do prefer it when Ball is on the park but no goals conceded so that was a positive. Harry Forrester ran himself ragged again, I think he's great personally but sometimes runs himself in to trouble because his feet are too fast. I do feel that we can't always try to pass the ball in to the goal. Could see Tav getting frustrated about that and start crossing balls in and we looked more dangerous. It's nice to know this part of the journey is over and now the hardest part begins which is to get back to the top of the table where we belong. Fair play to Halliday, Waggy etc for joining in with the BF1 guys. They just don't stop singing ever, or bouncing.
  23. 'I'd get killed up there' aye alright pal. Think you'd find nobody cares. This sounds more like a desire for celtic to come in for him
  24. Ha this is funny. I mean it's accounts to June of last year. We knew it wasn't great anyway, there is - or shouldn't be - any concern but as 26th says, this is all about riling up the rivalry. Those desperate to hate us will not care that these figures are not exactly new.
