  1. Y'know having a manager who knows what he is doing is also going to do wonders for the careers of these young lads. They will have much better opportunities as a result of his focus.
  2. It's just the desperate 'if only' of a mother grieving her son, which is then twisted by journalist vultures to sensationalise it. She's clearly being taken advantage of to get hits/comments on the paper.
  3. This fair brightened my morning What an absolute muppet Sutton is. Clearly trying to be relevant but this is just nonsense. I'm sure Warbs will have a good laugh at Sutton when he sees it.
  4. A representative for disabled fans would be better (in my opinion) than someone doing the talking for them. Again, I didn't say I didn't agree with the shares/project split in theory, but I do disagree with it being 47.5% each. It should be more like 70/30 at this time until we get to the goal. I do want fan ownership, but if these issues cannot be discussed reasonably at this stage then we've got a longer way to go than we thought. Fan ownership will be a disaster if people cannot take personal issues out. I don't vote based on who I want a pint with, I vote based on those I think will do right for the club and I don't vote for things until I know all the questions have been answered. That's not unreasonable.
  5. I don't know exactly the solution. My op said I can understand why people are pissed off.
  6. Well yes I think it does, because you've paid 5 x as much, unless RF can show exactly the breakdown of what went to shares then I can see why people would be upset. Point 2 is not enough, the group should make provision, not opportunity. Able-bodied fans have plenty of voice/representation and without provision disabled fans may well be drowned out. I've no problem with a reserve for projects but there is no way it should be the same split. I kind of resent that Frankie. I've always been supportive of this board. I'm a member of Rangers First but this is not a dictatorship (hence we all get a vote) and fans/members are allowed to feel that the proposals are not right, or do not go far enough. Aren't we all of the opinion 'never again' and so shouldn't we all question these things rather than blindly follow the lead of a chosen few?
  7. This is as close to a dig/insult you'll get from Warbs and it's still a good un
  8. I saw something yesterday that an RF life member who paid £500 will get the same membership as an RST member who paid £100 I can fully understand why people are pissed off. I don't think due consideration was given to disabled supporters and their needs. I don't understand the need for donations to be split between shares & projects. What type of projects? Who decides on the projects? Who proposes the projects? This is where I am concerned the Board will have influence. Whilst they may want us to increase shares I am concerned they've suggested this. It's a way to get fans to help pay for developments without the board having to give anything. Not saying I'm against (or for) this proposal, I'm just not convinced.
  9. Really good article and quite rightly points out that Warbs has a plan and he's sticking with it. The problem he has is his plan is working so well a lot of us feel confident for this tie. I for one will not hold this match against warbs or the players. it's big for us. It's huge for them. There is a chance the occasion will help or hinder them. I mostly want to see us just stick with our game plan. I hope we go in without fear, and stay confident in our abilities. Despite those who keep talking about our shaky defence, we haven't lost a goal at ibrox in something like 8 hours. We've one of the best defensive records in the country (if not the best, I haven't checked), We've no need to fear or change.
  10. Um no. The SFA had their chance, tried to blackmail us and then agreed to abide Nimmo's decisions. There is no question of stripping titles.
  11. I think DK feels it's the best option of a lot of shitty options. If we can't mount a legal challenge or Ashley will not negotiate with us, then we are stuck for 7 years with this awful contract. Better to try and negotiate a better deal now and actually earn some money than be saddled with peanuts for revenue.
  12. The financials - albeit unaudited - are looking much healthier. This is why I'm glad DK didn't whack in money - we have to fix the root of the problems. We'd be in profit now if we have a decent retail deal. Think about that.
  13. What a performance on Saturday. For a game that could have been tricky we certainly came down on Dundee! I thought Miller had an excellent game and glad he got MotM, although it could have gone to any number of players. I had a feeling Harry would come good once he got his first goal. He's so hungry to score. I really enjoyed the different attempts at free kicks. My fave being Halliday's, cause Millers look of sheer delight that it went in is a joy.
  14. Oh I'm sure they'll turn up for those games. They'll have more poorly written banners to hang up.
  15. I'm happy that Forrester has got his goals. Since he's arrived I've felt his almost desperation to do well for us, and it's hindered him a bit. He's so intent on getting a goal that he's forgetting his ability. Now he's broken through though I reckon we'll really start to see the best of him.
  16. Honestly. Dying with laughter. Actual Tom Boyd in it.
  17. Be pretty funny if they get put out before they meet us. Anyway, this sort of shite is always good motivation.
  18. I'm actually completely lost now. RF members voted to discuss how to move forward, but not agreeing to a merge yes? Current vote is to replace the entire board, again not to be merged at this point? No one has agreed to a merge have they? Someone has set up a shelf company which has basically freaked everyone out? I do not know half the names talking or being talked about, so I kinda had to vote based on CV's
  19. This is why I hate voting on things. It's like bloody politics sometimes - try and find the person telling the least warped version of the truth.
  20. Well of course he's 'trying to prove' you touched him. You did. I'm sorry but I fail to be moved my some wee idiot who committed a pretty bad foul (that yes was imo a sending off) when Andy Halliday has had two erroneous sendings off in the last coupe of weeks. None of them resulting in the injury of a player. LOL. Says the wee crybaby.
  21. 7 years worth? Because that's what we are looking at, at the moment to get out of this horrendous contract. Good job by the club lawyers and nice to see a judge taking the litigation for what it was.
  22. with any luck Grant Russell will be there - his court coverage is always balanced. The thing with Doleman is, he's not the worst whilst tweeting the court words, it's afterwards when he engages with the great Outraged of the East. I always want to scream at him for his little passive agressive at the end of his tweets
  23. Everton Fans Forum also set up a gofundme account and Everton Football Club donated £5000 in to it as well, taking the total to over £8.5K so far. Everton (my prem team due to my dad's allegiance!) have been fantastic in their support so far.
  24. I'm going to assume that if we can get an article about the successes of the coaching team & how things are changing in to a newspaper, then it's less space for some shitty article about us with no basis.
  25. I always like when Gilligan talks. I think because he's not out doing soundbites a lot, when he does talk it's because he has something to say,
