Not necessarily, the bid is in and is exclusive. I think we have more to worry about with Whyte in that respect, as I believe he can block the sale of assets. D&P said he was irrelevant but have done nothing to prove this yet. At least if another admin is appointed we stand more chance of openess than with this shower.

FFS why can't we just take it and get on with it? Isn't it worse not knowing where we stand, hanging around in limbo? The SFA will have already checked this out legally. The fight is admirable, but it says in the rules they can do what they like. People work there b*lloxs off to feed their families and still contribute to the RFF. Just seems like it's being thrown away. Of course I'll eat my words if we win though

I have alot of respect for you Zappa, you put real good post's in most of the time and I'm sorry I feel I have to bring this up. I sincerely hope I have misinterperrated your post. I have supported Rangers since before I can remember. I was born in Castlemilk to mixed religion parents (Prod & Tim....as opposed to Buddhist & Hindu; Jewish or Muslim etc., etc.). I was christen a catholic (I think that's what its called) and when very young we moved to Engirland and I went to a catholic school for a short while. So I myself could be described as being very much partly "tribal" catholic by those who chose to do so. I have 7 cousins who were also brought up as "catholic", 3 of whom are also Rangers supporters , one being a season ticket holder for Ibrox. One other is a Celtic supporter (doesn't even go out of his way to actually see how his team are doing) and the other three have no interest in Scottish fooball whatsoever. Just because Mr O'Neil is a catholic, doesn't neccessarily follow that he is anti-Rangers. With everything that has been happening of late, I would argue that it is somewhat misleading and diversional for the finger of blame to be pointed at members of any particular religion. Is SMD a catholic? Is Craig Whyte a catholic? I suspect not. Both are capitalsit's. Both (although I suspecy SDM to be more guilty) are feeders of their own ego's. That is what has destroyed our club more than any catholic. And unless things change, that is what will continue to destroy our club, and many others. I do feel it is about time that we woke up to that fact and started to lobby the polititians that claim to hold our best interests at heart; a whole reform of football is what is needed. Blaming catholics will only prolong our agony. The root of the problem is there for us all to see. It doesn't and never has; lay with what God someone chooses to worship. Greed & self interest.... we need to protct our club from. All else is banter.

I don't see how it could affect a newco. If newco is a seperate company, with no debts and a new registration number then how can it be possible to apply this? Starting with a clean slate is the whole purpose of the newco. Otherwise no-one would bother with it. However, this latest crap does seem to me like we're having the newco option forced on us now. I was of the opinion that we should do all we can to get the CVA and hated the idea of div 3. I think after this evenings news my mind is changing. Newco & div 3 is our only way out of this IMO. Let them suffer, let us rebuild.

I missed half of it, had a toddler screaming & a teenager knowing full well I was trying to listen to it... talking over it, just being a teenager. But I liked most of what I did hear. I thought he came across as a wholesome down to earth working class sort of bloke. Did he say something about not being here for the long haul? Dongle won't let me see video of listen to audio so any link to a transcript would be nice. But.... I would like to know who else is involved with him...why keep it quiet now? He's promising transparacy, we need to know who else is involved or we might get f*cked over with the "fit & proper person" thing again, and we really don't need anymore of that.

Unfortunately it was late & I forgot to bookmark it. Juan, Fair point mate, and I do see alot of it is guesswork but from what I've read they are in general not far off the mark. Totally agree with your observations about RTC. Although I think rather than someone else writing it, I think he has lost his source since just after we went into administration.

I don't like much about what he was saying, but I read those blogs sometimes as I try to find out what the hell is going on and their accuracy is scary. We have Leggat. How'd that happen? I'd be grateful btw if someone could point me in the direction of a desent Rangers blog. I've also noticed that many football blogs are often more accurate and reliable than the red tops and most other papers. It's like the newspapers time is up & they have to make up or sensationalise to get people attention.

I hear its the guy who used to stand outside Ibrox selling scarves for £1.50 before matches back in the 70's. Whatever comes from Dudd & Phelch, is bound to be honest and truthful and not at all spin.

Couldn't agree more. I spend 4-5 hours searching through stuff most nights (ok my dongle is really slow), but most of it is just crap. While I'm here, here's some crap from me.... With Miller withdrawing, it puts more pressure on a sale coming quickly. Hence the price of any deal will drop. Miller might not be finished yet, and other parties could be coming in now thinking they could get a cheaper deal. Try to be possitive.

Sorry, sounds like a begging letter. I love Ally to bits, but this just sounds sad.
