  1. Yup. And I don't want to rely on Dave King, McColl, or the Blue Knights to do it for me. Let's ALL get behind RangersFirst / BuyRangers and make it happen ourselves. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. The site does make it sound as though you should receive an individual delivery date estimate when ordering. However, I ordered last night and haven't seen anything so far. 28 days is mentioned under lost goods in the T&Cs. For a fan led initiative, I'm impressed with just how professional everything seems, so I'm happy to cut them some slack as long as the end product is good quality and gets to me in a reasonable timescale. 3. Sorry, but that's an utterly ludicrous statement to anyone, like me, who started going to games when he was in his prime as a player. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Thanks Zappa. It'd like to go, but I'll be helping out at my local rugby club's family day (who said we had no middle class fans left eh?!). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Leaving aside the merits or otherwise of the case, I'm afraid that statement was spoilt for me by the unnecessary invective. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. The truth is out there. Well done Billy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Anyone from Gersnet planning to attend? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Maybe they could start by discussing who their favourite football team is and move on from there... It's an excellent idea. If individual groups are divisive, ego driven, or unwilling even to listen to others, then they'll be embarrassed very publicly. You never know, we might even make some progress. The journey of a 1000 miles starts with a single step... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. As clear a case of Vexatious Litigation as you are ever likely to see in my opinion. Instead, Mr Easdale should focus on the mass disaffection amongst his customers, which led to 6000 of them passing on their views to him in less than 48 hours. Can you imagine for one second any other businessman suing his own customers for passing on their deeply felt concerns via a petition? Pathetic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I'm not convinced it is Spam at all. Each message was generated by an individual and spam is generally sent to multiple recipients, not just 2. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. So if we do it to the Prime Minister it's democracy at work, but if it's to a Rangers director it's spamming? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. As long as he remains a director, he'll do that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. "Do you think Charles Green would make a good goalie with his big Yorkshire hands"? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. It's not funding requirements which will drive us towards sale and leaseback deals, it's the absence of any other realistic way for certain shareholders to make a return from their investments in the absence of a takeover bid. Mr Easdale, I for one will join those prepared to starve you out if you go down that route. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Were you persuaded by the Learned Professor's arguments in law? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. The ones that make the most noise online will either be too scrawny or too slow to worry about anyway. As an indication of what we're dealing with, one of them started listing Rangers "enemies" in separate txts, among whom he included Imran Khan...... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I don't disagree that there's an element of protest involved, but the stated goal is: "We want fans to have a bigger say in the club. Long-term the only way that can be guaranteed is by purchasing shares. The surplus from sales will go to providing funds to purchase shares in Rangers which will be held by the Rangers Supporters Trust which is an Industrial and Provident Society owned by it’s members on the basis of one-member one-vote." Unfortunately, calling it a protest shirt changes the lead message and risks alienating some people from the concept of fan ownership entirely. However, If I buy one it will probably be as well as, rather than instead of, the official replica shirt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. It's beyond a joke on twitter. Thinly veiled threats that the support needs to be "cleansed", that these shirts will help identify "them" and that there are some pubs where you wouldn't be safe wearing one. We have some genuine balmpots in our support, but calling it a protest shirt isn't especially helpful. A "Buy Rangers Shirt" would have been better IMO. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I'd be happy to attend games at the Apple i-brox stadium... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I'm no lawyer, but I had to study business law many moons ago; 1. We'd be talking about contract law here, so you're right that the parties have to be legal entities, which includes individuals. Any contract has to have some form consideration (usually, but not always, financial) that the parties agree, so whoever represents the UoF side would have to commit to do something in return for the Board's undertaking. That might be as simple as issuing a positive statement about the purchase of season tickets. 2. / 3. Breach of contract would be a civil matter. I agree with Bluedell that the composition of the Board isn't an issue here; they would be entering into a commitment on behalf of the legal entity. I would have thought that the most useful remedy available to the UoF would be to apply for an injunction to prevent any sale in the first place, but compensation to restore the previous situation would be a possibility.
