  1. Thanks!! From what you'd said previously I was pretty comfortable with Ng, although obviously that view may change if he now decides on a newco. Do you expect the mystery bid to 'go down better' with the support in general than the announcement of Green appears to have? Or is it one and the same?
  2. Can anyone say anything to offer some comfort about Ng or the mystery bid? Is there any chance TBK are bluffing? Green doesn't look like the kind of person we want, and D&P still seem to be picking their backsides.
  3. Is Charles Green the other party who's reached agreement with Whyte? If not, is that the mystery bid then?
  4. I assume then Frankie that you know the identity of the 3rd bidder? Is it the 3rd bidder who has contacted Walter? I assume you can't divulge more?
  5. So if Whyte's still involved we'l have green and Whyte in our board room. Not good!! :-)
  6. According to Daily Record. They've hence withdrawn their bid.
  7. What the....? Only thing more serious would be match fixing? So doping, harbouring paedophiles, etc, etc, etc is less of a crime than an innocent victim being fucked over by a rogue individual.
  8. The Blue Knights, Brian Kennedy, Bill Ng, the London Consortium, a combination of those names, a.n.other? I'm guessing it'll be the London consortium or some other consortium out of left-field.
  9. All the reports are saying Craig Whyte is not going to make money from it, so i'd assume he's come to some other arrangement which protects him from litigation.
  10. Also, has it been cleared up yet how many of the bidders want a CVA? The administrators/media keep talking about the UK bid being the only one, but unless Ng has changed tact I thought that's what he wanted as well?
  11. Is it possible, given Ng said he wanted a Scottish/British board, that it's people working for Ng who have reached agreement with Whyte? Also, Ng is on record as wanting a CVA, so does that mean 2 of the 3 bids want a CVA?
  12. On my phone so no link, but the Scotsman was reporting this afternoon that 1 of the 3 bidders is not new. Might back up the Ng reports.
  13. If they get their money back through Whyte, does that mean we owe Whyte £27m or does it leave HMRC as only major creditor?
  14. I'm not questioning you!! :-) I just can't see where D&P have stated it's the 'local' or 'UK' consortium who want the cva or who have agreed a deal with Whyte. Is it only the media who have suggested this or am I missing something? Ps - it's probably the latter!!!
  15. But does that not just say a local company is one of the bidders? It doesnt say who wants the cva.
  16. Why's the thread title been changed to local from UK?
  17. I thought Bill Ng wanted a CVA? Does that mean the UK consortium doesn't if he's 1 of the 3?
  18. All the main/expected parties have been very quiet of late, and by that I include the likes of the Trust/Assembly et al. I wouldn't be surprised if Jim McColl had made an offer to bankroll a bid as he did previously. ps - this is pure speculation on my part.
  19. It makes no sense for Kennedy to buy Whyte's shares to deliver them to Miller, as a newco will already have been created and in UEFA's eyes merging the current company and newco still creates a newco and we get a 3 year Euro ban. It only makes sense if they're intent on saving the current company in its current form.
  20. That's my point really. There appear to be a lot of people thinking this gives Miller the green light, but for me it does exactly the opposite as he now doesn't know what the penalties are. I'm sure nobody thinks they'll boot us out, but this gives the other clubs the opportunity to hit us with as big a punishment as they like and there's not a thing we can do about it. PS - BBC are reporting that D&P asked for the vote to be delayed.
  21. But we won't yet have been accepted into the SPL as a newco, so the other 11 could still decide whatever they like. If one's in place and plays against St Johnstone, however, then that completely fogs things up.
  22. Anyone got any idea where this leaves the Miller bid? Can he spend all that money without knowing what league we're in or what income we'll have?
  23. That'll be because John Yorkston won't get a vote now!! How anyone seriously thinks 12 self interested clubs can come to a fair-minded consensus though is beyond me. This is where the whole concept of club-run leagues falls down. In saying that, the concept of the SFA hasn't exactly been working well of late.
  24. One option would be to get the RFFF to pay the balance to clubs provided we were able to, however I doubt fans would vote for paying the likes of Dundee Utd, Aberdeen or Celtic.
  25. If today's vote is delayed though, I take it John Yorkston won't have a vote?
