  1. Their respective performances are as bad as each other and the sights are trained on both.y

In both instances their time is up.

Fine by me. As long as we don't pretend McCoist's inability will be magically cured if the Easdales leave. A dud is a dud.

  2. Monday's debacle had nothing to do with the board, except it highlighted the folly of their over-generous indulgence of Ally's embarrassing incompetence.

It would suit some on here for the board to be the recipients of fans' ire, which should be aimed straight at the laughably poor manager.

  3. W

I recall it was 'Blade' who screen shotted the email on Twiter. Blade with the petty exclusive.

Blade was also the guy who attemted to discredit supporters groups, mainly SoS, by mocking up a FB post that tarnished the 66 who died in the disaster.

    Scum bag of a man.

You're proving my point. You'd sooner discredit the guy who revealed the true story than comment on the incident itself.

  4. There's been some truly bizarre behaviour from a few people on social media.

Often these people delete their account when such behaviour is highlighted. Strange motivations but usually only a very small minority of mischief-makers.

In any case, we're in danger of moving away from the subject of this thread. FWIW, I'm not sure SoS's suggested boycott is a great idea - just smacks of a small group attempting to retain relevancy.

Nice amendment, Frankie. It's always good to stay on topic, I find.

What was that about deleting social media accounts? Was that aimed at SOS? Not sure what your point is.

  5. You're hardly one to talk about personal grudges and disappointed fantasists.

Am I? Pray tell, with whom do I hold a grudge and what is my fantasy? Do I imagine I'm a member of VB, is that it?

You made a rip-roaring cunt of yourself over the applications from the requisitioners to put a stick in the spoke of those who have engineered this shambles, yet you still can't see beyond the end of your nose.

    Did I? In what way?

You have made some pretty wild allegations on here about me, none of which make any sense. Are you confusing me with someone else?

  6. No, I don't think so.

It would be a convenient excuse to blame the Union of Fans' alignment with Dave King for any strategic errors or deficiencies in their overall campaign because even if they hadn't aligned with him or had involvement with him at all, it's 100% guaranteed that other alignments would be getting highlighted.

In other words, if detractors of the UoF didn't have the King alignment to call on, I think many of them would fall back on the anti-RST, anti-FF, anti-Dingwall, anti-Chris Graham (etc etc etc) stances and in fact I see and hear people combining all of these things anyway.

Nonsense. If irrefutable video evidence emerged of Dave King handing UOF leaders a suitcase full of cash, you would blame Bill McMurdo for blogging about it.

The reason people mention the UOF's "alignment" with would-be new owners is because the respective parties are fully and intrexicably aligned.

  7. I wouldn't expect Ally to say anything else for a number of reasons although what he does say increasingly washes over the heads of supporters who have understandably become sceptical of much of what he says because of the plethora of mixed messages, mistakes, habit of making excuses, employment restrictions and personal interests.

Ally is the manager of the football team, that is where he should be 'talking'.

However, you know that the focus that points to why thousands of supporters are not attending is because of the ongoing shennanigans upstairs.

They choose not to attend....The use of emotive language by Mr.Number ("boycotting") only tries to focus some kind of 'blame' onto the support which is misleading, lacking in cognitive thought or actively looking to encourage division.

    ---------------------------------

    Was Mr.Number born in 1939 ?

    It could help explain things.....................................;)3

ps. note to Mr.Calscot: please don't construe my last as ageism.........:seal:

Don't be silly. I was born on the 39th of September 2004.

  8. There is no official boycott by any Rangers fans group currently in place.

There is one group, SOS, that is currently polling it's members on this. However I would guess that the vast majority of guys signed up as members of SOS already don't go to Ibrox so it wont make much difference.

The more mainstream fans groups like the Assembly, Association and Trust are all not in favour of a boycott, but purely ask all Rangers fans to make their own decisions on this and ST renewals. Asking Rangers supporters not to go to Rangers games is a step too far for many thousands of Bears, who while hating the current regime and wanting rid of them as quickly as possible, cannot see it within themselves to not make the weekly pilgrimage to see the team. Back the team, sack the regime seems to sum it up for many.

Also taken into consideration is the fear from many supporters that a boycott will lead to another administration event, and may not even rid us of the current charlatans in charge of the club if the manage the situation properly with a pre-pack. Also a worry for these fans is the scenario where, as a last resort, the owners decide to do a sale/leaseback of our stadium in a bid to raise cash to stay in power. I know many fans who think this way and their hearts cannot allow themselves to have contributed to that by staying away.

So there is no boycott but every week we see the evidence of several thousand brave lions whose mantra is "not a penny more".

    Have I got it now?

  9. Must be slow today as I don't 'get' the PLG reference !

I think you'll find that there are an awful lot more than one choosing not to go to Ibrox. It's mainly because of the way the club has and is being run.

Indidividuals are quite free to attend and even fill Ashelys pockets aswell by spending money in the stadium superstore but they should realise that they will be present as they watch the lifeblood of the club sucked out of it.

We have reached this point of 'no reasons to be happy' because we had too many blockheads within the support, that laid out the red carpet for the dodgy geezers who have passed through the club and left with castles and the odd chateaux. Too many willing to fall for the Toxic Jack Irvine brand of bullshit or complicit for their own reasons.

And as for being on topic, remember Toxic Jack was involved in the putting the fansboard idea together.

In your experience, are representatives of the official fans groups involved in boycotting games?

  10. Looks like I missed a bit of a stooshie at the weekend.

The fansboard does seem to have achieved part of it's goal though, ie. further bitter division and 'political' attention drifting from the RIFC board during what seems a relative lull.

As for the 'football' attention, I think tonight's attendence will show that is drifting aswell.

The repercussions of which become 'political' at the present juncture.

Not a penny more, empty blue seats is the language they understand.

Hey plgsarmy, it looks like we've found out who's boycotting.

  11. I know you might not agree with this, but I think we're our own worst enemies.

Instead of just lobbying together for the good of the Club, there's been Gers fans lobbying against each other online for the past decade.

No matter how overplayed or underplayed the nonsense is, that's the root of the problem.

I don't see a fix either and that includes this new fan board.....

Oh, there's a fix all right but to identify it will require a clarity of vision which has proved way beyond the capabilities of the current "players". The fan board is a nice idea and I respect some participants but I'm not sure how readily it will be embraced. We'll see.

  12. He posted the 'whatever' comments following a request from me to avoid getting involved in your petty nonsense and trouble making.

I know your post history on the forum here (and your style elsewhere) and you tend to only come on here in order to partake in slagging matches about certain people, groups & other Rangers sites which is all completely unwelcome here.

I know for a fact that you've been politely warned about it in the past on Gersnet and yet here we are again, so you're getting another warning and a polite request to contribute to the forum sensibly and constructively without the agenda fueled nonsense and trouble making.

Forget it. I came on solely to put right a false statement which I'd been told had been posted on this board. D'Art has confirmed the mendacity of the statement so it's job done.

My remaining on this site would serve no purpose. Kindly delete my account.

  13. Just to be clear here, if FS disagrees with some supporters or ignores the opinion of others, he's sure not "completely indifferent" to "Rangers fans opinions". There is no such thing as "one Rangers fans' opinion" and while I am sure not on the same wavelength as FS with regards to many things, I have no doubt whatsoever that he (much like me) wants the best for the club and its support.

As has been said a few times in this thread already, it might be wise to just let them start their work before giving the whole enterprise flak like there is no tomorrow. Many have slated the club for this "set-up scheme", but honestly, if people like BH and FS are on it, those dissenters should take a step back for the time being.

Repeatedly using the term "whatever" screams of indifference to me. And I don't know what you mean by saying 'there is no such thing as one Rangers fan's opinion'. I am one fan and I express my opinion.

  14. Considering the vitriol you aim at bears on RM and Twitter, that is highly ironic. Hopefully admin bring out the ban hammer and get rid of you.

Now, go and imply legal threats as you do elsewhere. I'll bring the popcorn:)

I don't have a Twitter account. Legal threats? Are you confusing me with someone else?

While you're here, though, how are sales of your organisation's fake Rangers strips going? Mr Letham must be getting excited, he may own some priceless assets soon if your boycott holds.

  15. I didn't call a group of people arseholes though did I?

So you calculate the "quota of arseholes" in the group in question to count no more than one? That's rather a negligible quota.

Only problem with your theory is: that poster from RM doesn't use VB. He may have done once but then so did Gunslinger and Fury. Takes all sorts, eh?

The point here being it's not just VB members who deplore your behaviour. Sorry to have to be the one to let you know but disgust at your actions is pretty widespread within the support.

    Cheers.

  16. I doubt any of us on here really care what forum infantile people are members of.

    Let's move on please.

Do you know the poster in question, Frankie? Moderator or not, unless he's an acquaintance of yours, are you wise to use insulting terms in a public forum to describe a Rangers fan? That doesn't seem conduct befitting a website owner to me.

Something you might want to think about.

  17. Not that I'm aware of,

However the quote you're requesting the provenance of does name me does it not?

The whole "while it wasn't the VB's who posted that but an individual who just purely coincidentally happens to be a VB but was acting in a personal capacity........." excuse fools no one. The VB's like every other organisation on the planet contains it's quota of arseholes.

You are aware, I take it, that calling a group of people "arseholes" could result in the perpetrator being arrested, should the victims choose to inform the police?

    Wouldn't that be ironic?

  18. If it costs as much as the previous loans of course we shouldn't.

Let's see fresh capital from dave king or a loan with a 1000 percent interest rate.

    Hmmmmmm mm

I'm no expert perhaps bluedel can let us know which is better.

Ah, so Paul's friend Dave is offering a 0% interest, condition-free cash gift to the club he loves, but is inexplicably being spurned? No wonder you're outraged.

Spivs out. Let's call an EGM.
