  1. I criticise Paul Murray because of his lack of competence, in that his bid this year was a fiasco from beginning to end. Handing Ticketus £10m to prevent them taking legal action? Great move, Paul. Even when Brian Kennedy came on board to do the thinking for him, Murray - a lifelong banker - still couldn't pull together a realistic bid for the club. Also, Murray sat on the Rangers board for 4 years yet claims he knew nothing of the finances, was responsible for no decisions re EBT, yet has the nerve to claim he reduced the debt while at the club? You're damn right I criticise P Murray, much as I criticise Brown now for wasting everybody's time with an unwanted sideshow.
  2. But you accept the absurdity of a Rangers web-site castigating a potential purchaser for not revealing his backers, while turning a blind eye to a Rangers-minded potential purchaser when he does exactly the same thing?
  3. It's certainly a step up from reaching out in desperation to Martin Bain and Paul Murray to be our saviours.
  4. So FF vehemently pro-Bomber, although they have even fewer details of his bid than they do of Green's? It would be touching to witness such blind faith if it didn't expose their total hypocrisy
  5. Exactly the question I asked earlier in this very thread, my man. I don't think it's too wild a theory either.
  6. Exactly. Bomber is being worked from the back by someone who wants to destabilise Green and is using Bomber to spread very questionable tales. We don't know who is doinf it and we don't know why but the fact that it's happening is beyond question.
  7. We could be. Then again, Paul Murray and the RST had lined up Ticketus to be a part of TBK's bid. What if these three are the ones conspiring with Zeus, with or without White? That would explain why RST/FF were so frantically pro-TBK. I'd venture my conspiracy theory is as plausible as Brown's.
  8. So this guy with his £20m is one of Brown's backers then? That's an excellent start for Brown's consortium. With guys like that on board, he'll have control of the club in no time.
  9. Fantasy Island All we ever dreamed of True Love Holding us together Sorry but that's how I feel about Rangers men taking over.
  10. This just in. Brown's consortium has bid an unspecified amount to purchase Rangers. Or rather, they will do soon on a date yet to be confirmed. The members of Brown's consortium will be revealed on the day they take control. Brown feels he has to act to remove Charles Green from Rangers following a conversation with Green, the details of which Brown cannot specify. Hopefully that answers any questions re the Brown bid.
  11. Yes, eminently sensible. Just as long as you have no intention of buying the club. Which they clearly didn't. Fantasists, incompetents and amateurs.
  12. 20% of their CVA's value was dependent on CL 1/4 qualification. And you wonder why it was refused? For decades, this fiasco will be known as Rangers' "Cambuslang moment". Jackanory Jackanory
  13. Where are you hearing this mate? Bomber better hope this isn't true, seeing as he swore on his grandchildren's lives these guys weren't involved during his Ibrox steps folly.
  14. On a personal level, they lost out massively to their severe embarrassment. Champions League 1/4 finals, guys?? Bwahahahahahaha.
  15. Every time I see the letters TBK typed, I remember the hysterically full-on support they received at every faltering step from a rival Rangers web-site. Whereas every time I see the name Paul Murray, I think of Swiss Toni from The Fast Show.
  16. Brown will probably post his bid on Twitter at about 11:30 tonight.
  17. So there's no need for fans' groups like the RST to tell its members not to renew as they're all capable of making up their own minds?
  18. What did she say when you told her you wanted Green to sell up and move on ASAP? Did she agree?
  19. Maybe so but someone's behind Bomber, GS. Who do you think it might be?
  20. Not only is the grammar improved, the use of English is several notches above any recent RST statement also. I detect the hand of a new RST statement writer; Deedle, perhaps??
  21. Ah, I see. You mean Mr Dingwall's maxim, "One member, one vote - me and mine".
  22. Decent statement, if a bit tongue-in-cheek and flippant. At least the grammar is a little better for once, if you overlook the unfortunate error in the title...
  23. Which is who, do we think? Previously, I thought Brown was doing the bidding of a spurned purchaser who wanted to find a way to force Green out but I'm beginning to think he's being played by enemy types who want to destabilise the club by derailing our recovery. Like his friend McKenna or maybe the Keans, for example....
  24. I missed the Hibs statement, although I can guess what it said. Bit surprised the RST felt compelled to answer a bunch of nobodies like Hibs.
