Why would Wallace continually pull out? Something doesn't sit right with me here.
.. and if he is indeed fit, why would we pay his wages.

many moons ago I would of agreed with the notion that the club should discipline players who openly question a managers tactics and styles. However in this situation I’m struggling with that. Wallace and miller have had to put up with a lot of shit in their time. They’ve tasted the highs of league & cup wins, European football etc. Then the lows.. Bankruptcy, division 3 football, Poor managers, (mccoist, warburton, caixhinha & Murty) one after the other. In between that, they have watched as we’ve been passed between dodgy boards. Our current board (who were to lead us into a more positive future) had over 140 app for the job and apparently a stringent interviewing set up to decide who it would be. Instead we chucked that to the side, put all our eggs in one basket and decided to go for mcinnes, He knocked us back and with a board with no idea what to do next, turned to the youth manager and hoped he get us to limp over the line to 2nd place. If I was Wallace and miller I would be furious too.

The discussion over Kenny Millers future Is becoming an annual event.
Let's hope he gives us more food for thought on Sunday. All considered, he's probably our most likely source of a goal.
which in itself is a tad worrying!

Just seen the title of this and thought i wonder what Tannochsidebear response is

Well lets face it.
He will never be a coach, because that means training & applying himself.
His other options are:
-
opening a pub
-
Doing the after dinner speeches thing (however seeing as he only had success with Kilmarnock & us, that market wont be big).
-
or lastly the path of least resistance, … Journalist(ahem)/pundit.
-
Option 3 is his best bet. He knows that the only way he’ll get the work though is if he follows that well-trodden route of saying not nice things about the big bad Rangers. That way he will get a lovely pat on the head (and maybe his tummy tickled) by his pay masters.

It takes two sides to make a deal and it's possible Aberdeen said they would clear the way for Rangers to talk to McInnes ... but only after the double header between the clubs, hoping to consolidate second place before he left. Clearly, if that was their thinking, it backfired spectacularly. We'll know soon enough.
yeah but 5 weeks?
5 weeks of speculation that affects our players and their players.
in that 5 weeks we could of had both managers settled (and for us maybeless dropped points)

If it is McInnis, then why has it taken 5 weeks to appoint him?
140 odd apps to sift through and their conclusion was to go for the fella (who I assume didn’t apply as his chairman keeps going on about how committed to the club he is) is the ex player up the road who finished 2nd (not having a go at that btw).
It just sounds a complete shambles.

Simple! he doesnt trust him or believe in him. He would rather rely on Miller!

What really is getting my goat is the business of that they wanted to be thorough and make sure they get the right person for the job, but hang on didnt they do that with their last two appointments?
Also on another note at my work place (local council). when our old boss retired instead of putting it out for advert straight away(when she handed in her notice) they waited till she left and did not put it out to advert for at least two months, why? so they could bank two months of manager wages that went into the reserves.

Well did mcleish actually put in an application? didnt he say you know where i am?

Embarrassingly, not being a betting man, or following foreign football these days, I thought this Per Oddschecker was some Dutch coach I'd never heard of...
Can I just say, I was about to wicki him, until I read it again!!

I'd love to see those 150 apps and see who they are

i wonder how many players (not just in Scotland) have had two red rescinded on the dot?

Alan Pardew is pish! disliked at palace & Newcastle. He thinks of himself as the big I am. no thanks!

If he spoked to the mail, like all good tabloid journalist, he would have been asked leading questions. He’s a young lad that’s going to have the world on his plate( well at least in January). Plus, the bit about “mailsport, understands” says it all.

If the deluded tramp beggar liar, currently hiding from UDA/UVF hit squads is to be believed Pena is spending his time touring west end boozers having at least 10 drinks a night.
How he knows this despite having had to move abroad on "personal safety grounds " isn't explained in the slightest.
..and how come there's never any photo evidence of him sitting there with a pint in his hand and a pie in the other??

Probably the most amusing thing of the whole situation is that Sutton thinks he's really clever by trying to stoke a non news story. Instead he just looks like a pleb who thinks his cunning plan is, well, cunning!

Liked the line "where he's comfortable". says it all really!

Either (Sutton ) is really thick and doesn't get what Pedro means or he's trying to do his usual confrontational look at me, I stick it to the man bit.
