  1. The players he signed were poor (and were coached poorly). He had what the second biggest budget in scottish football. His tactical plan was to wait til the other team (of part time players) tired themselves out and then go for the win. He took home a massive wage and served up very little that was pleasing to the eye. When king and co finally got a hold of Rangers I thought he might of resigned from his contract and moved on, instead he continued to pocket the wage right to the end. Then there was the whole debacle of forgetting to vote because he was on holiday. That’s not great from stuff from a club legend. So when he talks about us being behind celtic, you can see why people get upset!
  2. How true! I feel myself drifting away from it myself. Shame really, We used have some good discussions but when the whole Ebt thing started and everyone became a tax expert it all became a bit poisonous. Still the off topic forum has its moments. Anyway top post mate. I'll have to try and remember it all when I talk to my Dad (the dreaded Celtic Supporter), hopefully I can bamboozle him with my knowledge (as he gets all his from The Evening Times & Daily Record online).
  3. Frankie, you should post that on the Rangers thread on the football manager/sports interactive site. That will have the "non Gers" frothing!!
  4. yeah I wasn't sure whether to "like" or "agree" to the post as it either would have certain connotations
  5. Well if we in Europe, we need to retain some players that are Trained in Nation & Trained at Club. I would of thought Wilson would of fallen into that category!
  6. I wished they'd hurry up. I dying to update my Rangers Team on Football Manager
  7. Did he retire injured or something?
  8. while I can Naismith comments may of been badly worded by him, Whittakers saying "“We owe no loyalty to the new club. There is no history there for us.” is a little harder to swallow. in particular as it was him who got sent off after 18mons against malmo that dropped us in it!
  9. Do we know who the other three are?
  10. I often wonder what Sutton would do for a living if he didn’t have Rangers to talk about. No doubt he would have a lovely wee pub somewhere, where he could regal folks over their fried egg and chip dinners with stories of how he fell down for a living every Saturday afternoon.
  11. ...hmm, that article screams, lets wind up the Rangers fans a wee bit more and generate some his for his rag!
  12. maybe someone should remind him that he also has a responsibility to Rangers first.
  13. haven't seen warburtons interview, however the line regarding "We’ve got a responsibility to his parent club. We have got to look after their asset" is a shocking thing to say (from a Rangers perspective). Whats the point in having players come in loan if they cannot/or not allowed to play the full 90mins?. We're taking off our most dangerous player on the night and leaving on those who are pish to struggle on? sounds like her had given up the game.
  14. Doesn't seem like he's been given a fair chance to prove himself! He needs a decent run in the team!
  15. I'm suggesting that both of them have had a past, that can be seen as be questionable. However King gets the chance to right those wrongs (with a second stint with us) but Barton doesn't. That's what i find annoying. PS. I've got nothing against King and i'm glad he is at the club but the handling of this is an utter shambles! all we've done is just given our adversaries more scope to take the piss out of us and sell their newspapers!
  16. Its a good point about a different board. However you could argue that with our majority shareholders problems in the past with the south African tax bodies and the millions of pounds, paid in settlements/penalties to them that our moral stance is a bit tenuous?
  17. This is indeed shambolic. Its embarrassing for the fans, the players & the club. The fact our board cant see this is pathetic. it wouldn't surprise me if we offered to release him and he's declined on the grounds of !fighting for his place. and now the board are hoping our beloved SFA (the champions of truth & justice) will find him guilty! Then we can take the moral high ground and fire him. This whole situation stinks!
  18. I'd like to see him back. I don't like the idea of Brown and co sitting smugly thinking they have got the better of a Rangers Player. Also, I think he can still do a job for us.
  19. Interesting! just one supporter? it sounds like maybe someone is taking one for the team?
  20. Plus the media will have a field day with this. They'll do their best to spin this out and try and destabilise us!
  21. Banned 3 three weeks from the training ground as well. So how is he supposed to train (and keep fit) then IF indeed he is to come back.?
  22. ..or possibly there is someone else in the mix?
