I would have had greater respect for Ally had he waited until we had Won the game and made those comments. Instead he lost the game and done it straight after, to everyone outside of Rangers, that looked like he was trying blame Green, that is poor. If he waited till sunday (at the earliest) it would of looked better to all!

i think sometimes you have to dance with devil in order to achieve the end result! and Lets face it most of us would of told whyte what he wanted to hear, if it meant getting the club/shares off him. I bet brian kennedy and co probably had similar deals set up because they new that whyte was such a sleekit bastard the only difference being that Green got to the finishing line first! As for Green not telling us about meeting whyte before or him having £137k in a "side account" for investing in Rangers at that immediate time, think what would of happened .. no season ticket money..means no money to run the club..no money to run the club means no club! And before you all accuse me of being in the green club, i desperately wanted Kennedy in and the blue knights but when you have this group of millionaires asking ticketus to put the £500k in, then somethings off! I think my dad (a celtic supporter) called it right, none of these guys had the bottle to take Rangers over because they all new the only way we would survive was to see the company liquidated, none of them wanted to touch it and so left it to Green and co to do the dirty work!

I think Durrant is taking abuse because he is singling out the youngster alone..not the experienced players (Black, Sheils etc) who have have failed to impressed. Also.. who plays the players out of position, who tells the goalkeeper to lamp the ball up the field instead of starting from the back? These are the things that they remain silent on, which in turn pisses people off! By the way, i'm no Durrant hater. i was genuinely pleased that he came back to Rangers as a coach as i thought he would pass on his skills and knowledge on how the game should be played (along with mccoist) but as of yet , i've seen hee-haw!

i think he should of shown a wee bit of humility there! No one is expecting to see us go all Ajax/Barcelona stylie(although it would nice) but it would be nice to see a team that has spirit and desire to win, and one that can pass the ball! Also, if i was one of the younger lads at the club i wouldnt be too happy at being told i'm only good enough for this division and not the next! he needs to get off his high horse stop being a martyr and tell us why we cant pass!

personally, i wouldnt want them back..it would feel hollow. everytime they kissed the badge of celebrated a victory..you'd know they're only here for the cash! end of! plus as for the business of jobs and career etc. some of these guys were supposed to be Rangers supporters.. They got to live the dream/play for the shirt.. where us mere mere mortal could only dream of! and another thing, if you are earning say..10 grand a week and are struggling to cover your bills, you've got some problems! after all they were living in Scotland.. not London or monti carlo !

wasnt wilson on something like 15 grand a week at liverpool? how much would it cost to have him effectively cut 2-3 years off of his career by resigning for us? Plus he's already tasted the big time with Rangers and Liverpool, he may well want another crack at this (and europe) with a club who can take him there immediately!
