My EXACT dilemma too. My kid is 11 and I have them all from birth and his age on the back
For me there are two ways you could go:
1 - continue to buy
2 - allow for the break, and buy him a Lionbrand top, you could then explain the reason for it etc etc.
Personally I would stick with 1 as my own reasons outweigh the notion of giving MA money. For what it's worth I don't think it will make much of a difference the ones like us who are still buying KIDS strips.
I think the thousands who have boycotted already have done the damage for us, and I applaud them for that. This will get sorted out in a court of Law I believe, not by sales.

Never understood the NEED to have the latest top, ANY Rangers top should do. When I was young, where I lived, nobody had that luxury and as someone without kids - so with all due respect, it comes across as a bit like spoiling them and not teaching them to appreciate stuff. There is also an ethical lesson here that to me is a more valuable gift to kids than just indulgence in owning the latest stuff...
Understand what you are saying. you are right my newborn, or 2 year old, or 3 year old NEVER ever asked me for a Rangers strip but it's my choice to do that. And it's still my choice to buy them all and keep them for him when he's say 16.
My reason for doing so is I imagine how I would feel if my dad done that for me. I'd be absolutely delighted. And now a homeowner they would have taken great pride of place on the walls of my garage or spare room.
I'm confident my son will be chuffed in years to come.

When they had Hartson, Sutton, etc the tactic was to hoof the ball forward so that one of them could throw themselves to the ground and score from the resultant free kick. They did it for seasons.
Sutton is still to this day one of the worst divers I've ever seen play the game of football.
And also still a bitter w4nker aswell.

We're struggling here. THis is the first year our 8 year old wants to come to ibrox regularly (hoping to get him a ST too) and he really likes have the team kit.
Do the lion brand etc do kids sizes? Terrible really I've never really looked for it, but if not this is where cashley makes his money.
Yes Mazza you will get kids sizes for an 8 year old from the Lionbrand.

I know I'm in the minority and I don't like doing so BUT I will buy it. For my son.
He turns 6 soon and I've got him every strip since he's been born, most of which are packed away and stored for when he's older.
I'm glad most continue to boycott however.

I think what this season has shown is that Hibs and Falkirk wouldn't be out of place in the top tier. I don't mind Hibs at all and I hope they get up (and that we gub them in the final) Strangely though my mate hopes the recover their form to make the final a cracking game
I'm the opposite now I hope they stumble and suffer another year in the Championship.

As much as the whole saga annoyed me, still to this day I believe he would have been a perfect fit right into our side. I rate the clown very highly (as a player ofcourse).
But I'm glad he is suffering.

I'm more surprised they spelt all the words correctly.

hardie is with raith and we are light up front but he could go to the play off final - would we let him though?
I'd leave him there and see if he can do some damage to Hibs.

I'd like to see us do something (cover it perhaps, or add red and blue lighting of some sort) to the 'beige' plastic above and around Copland/Broomie stands. It's an eyesore.

Gaffer confirmed today that Waggy will miss the Semi Final.

Sounds like he would be easy to capture.

He openly admitted supporting us as a boy in a tweet to John Hartson some time ago.
I think he says he's a Crusaders fan.

OK I apologise
Ha just jesting mate. It's mainly full of wallopers. Some good Bears though.

And IIRC their first goal which McDonald scored was a mile offside? I remember Terry Butcher having a go at the linesman for failing to spot the offside.
And I recall in the second half a 'tackle' by vinegar of castlemilk which should have been a straight red which went unpunished
C'mon Rab no need to tarnish my good home town with that big lump a wood ...........
Albeit it is full of mhanks.

I'd play our strongest side. They have a full week to recover.
My only concern is a bad injury on that farce of a pitch.

Playing legend? Absolutely. But then we have loads of them so why single Ally out for a special invite.
But that's where the line is drawn for me.
And DJ is correct he did start the journey but on his mission to get us through the leagues I'm sorry but "he did that" is a lot of balls, his terrible start to the Championship (and lets not forget Kenny was possibly worse) gave McCall mission impossible.

What is important is not how much is spent but that we strengthen in areas of the team which need to be strengthened. For example, at least one striker and a defensive MF player are musts. We may need to look at the FB positions because had Wallace or Tavernier got a lengthy injury this season there were no obvious FB replacements were there?
There's no point in simply going out & buying for the sake of it. As Graeme Souness once said as Rangers manager that when you buy a player you must always be sure he's better than the one he's replacing.Do that & we won't be far away next season
Add a CH to that list, especially if Ball goes back to Spurs.
Ideally one with pace.

Whilst I agree we need to invest in order to compete with them, when was the last time we had a manager who was extremely financially minded when it comes to "value"?
If it were Ally/Walter yeh we'd need to throw money at it galore.
However MW may get us to compete with half the required deficit.

As has the Challenge Cup final...
Excellent. Looking forward to both.

Sold out now apparently.

Just as a matter of interest will the insurance not pay a players wages if he is injured?
I've no idea but I'd imagine it wouldn't pay 100% of it, perhaps a small percentage.
But could you imagine trying to insure guys like Rooney/Toure on £250k+ a week? The premium would be unreal.
Be good to find the answer?

GORDON STRACHAN told Rangers skipper Lee Wallace last night that he has a future with Scotland — and he’ll have no problem calling him up.
Wallace told Sunsport yesterday that being out of the national picture to skipper Gers was a price worth paying.
But Strachan insisted: “We know what Lee can do.
“There’s a group of lads out there we know are willing and able and who you can trust, and Lee’s one of them. It would be remiss of me though not to have a look at a young talent, someone ten years younger. Everybody understands that.
“If Kieran Tierney didn’t make it then we would have no problem in knocking on Lee’s door and he would go right in there, absolutely.
“I’m not saying he’s a world-class player but we know what he can do.”
Wallace isn’t in the frame for Tuesday’s visit of Denmark.
Chesney you have ZERO world class players in your squad. NONE. NADA. ZILCH.
So that is a complete nonsense statement.

Look at what Templeton has given back to us for his 4? years ................ and lets not forget he is on a very nice weekly wage.
And folk are even mentioning they would give him another contract? Absolutely baffling.
He'd the be the first out the door on my list. Infact I'd pay him the rest of his wages and save the kitman from washing his training (sorry walking around) gear.
