A similar thread could be started about players who started slowly but then came good. McCoist being the most obvious! But lately Alan Hutton and Alan McGregor were by far the most improved players Ive ever seen at Rangers.
Lets hope we can add Perry, Cribari, Hegarty, Black, Faure and Agryiou to that list in the fututre ..........................

I use WHEY protein and mix it with milk, it takes great although a bit dry afterwards. It certainly will help faster recovery plus can also be quite filling....one thing after a work out is the hunger kicks in and protein shake can be quite filling.
What stuff do you use mate?
Someone told me to get Whey from either my protein.com or Phd.

SA, would you recommend a protein shake post workout to aid muscle recovery?

The only time that I was in a proper fight (which I won) I was instantly embarrassed and ashamed of myself. I guess not everyone finds it something to boast about.
Was she in a bad way Craig?

Vlad Weiss had one of the best debuts I've seen in recent times at Easter Road.

One of his poorer blogs IMO.

i am not sure he is tbh. he is a liability. a complete bombscare. perry deserves a chance to establish himself and cribari has settled very well looking quite accomplished.
I agree.
It also however sums up my feelings on our current CB's. Whilst I think Cribari has improved somewhat we are judging him against plumbers and sparks whereas we are judging Goian on last season against SPL teams (I will forget his start to this season).

He's better than any CB we have at the club just now, albeit he's not a great CB himself. And at what, £18k a week reportedly?
Ouch.

I think the statement from the RFFF was more about intent than actually saying we are paying for this.
I don't think there is any harm in this. Our enemies know that not only the club will fight them, but the fans will fight them also.

What's your thoughts on Insanity mate?

Lack of competitive games and the recent "closed door" policy makes it difficult even for their parents to track their progress.
What's the script with the 2 remaining reserve games elfideldo? I was hoping to go to the QP game at Lesser as it's local to me, but the fixture changed a few times and is now just marked as postponed on the website fixtures.
I know a QP coach and last i spoke to him he just said "Rangers just keep cancelling it".

I think that's a weeeee bit harsh. Stella is just another to be added to the list.
From memory, the only stand out signing that McCoist has made so far is Templeton. Cribari, Faure, Argyriou, Black and Kyle have so far not really stood out. I would say there is still hope for Sandaza after the last performance. That's just been this season. You could then add Matt McKay to the list.
When you consider that we are not in a position to carry excess baggage, making the right decisions on players is imperative.
Templeton and Wallace are his only quality signings so far IMO.

I'm not sure this is much better than 12 12 18 to be honest.
I don't think it will include splits and breakaways and meaningless games so therefore, it is already a much better proposal.
Edit: it may include splits but I'm still sure it won't be a complicated scenario.

Money aside (which lets face it, is obviously the deal clincher I get that that) but can i just say ...............

I cancelled ESPN on the back of us being kicked out the SPL, i won't renew with them even if they do stay.
I cancelled ESPN because it was an extra tenner a month for maybe one Rangers game a month, if that. And the dribs and drabs that Sky feed them.
Had it been about us being kicked out i'd have cancelled sky aswell but it's not.

It needed saying however. Any league is won over a season not in the remaining games after an artificial split when points totals are reset to zero. The top team loses all the benefit of a good start to the season, this is simply not fair and I don't care which team is top at at proposed split. It is not fair.
What Liewell is well aware of is that they can field a third team for 22 games as long as they finish 8th, they can use their best players only for Europe. Then when they are out of Europe and the split happens, they bring the big players back to win a league which will last a few months.
Yip Sporting intergrity at it's finest.

Liewell's monkeys won't like this.

SR: This is a chance to strengthen teams, particularly in the First Division, and bring in excitement and play-offs.
KJ: What play-offs? There are no inter-league play-offs I can see.
SR: Let’s stick with the concept of excitement.
An absolute muppet.

If these clowns try to reconstruct the leagues starting next season is it even legal?,is it in their made up rule book?
I'm sure they could get a 'low level paper gatherer' to change the rules. AGAIN.

Why do "we" not like him?
Ok maybe I should have said "the majority".
I don't like him because he was brought up where I stay, Castlemilk, he IS Scottish, looks Scottish (tinge of ginger) and talks Scottish.
BUT ............... the good old catholic persuasion got hold of him and now he plays for Oireland.

I never seen very much of McCarthy - either up here or since he moved South. But doesn't he play more of a wider role?
MacLeod actually reminds me more of a (better) Darren Fletcher.
No very central. There is also a McCarthur (the Gers fan) he kinds flits centre/wide more often, doesn't play as often as McCarthy though.

I'd agree with that.
MacLeod is a genuine quality box-to-box midfielder, the likes of which we've not really seen for a good number of years. Not only can he score goals but his mobility is important in areas of the park to retain possession. His distribution isn't always great but that should get better with time.
.
You know who MacLeod reminds me of?
(tin hat on)
James McCarthy.
And as much as we all don't like him, you cannot argue that he is a terrific player. He never looks out of place against the big boys down there IMO.

Give green his due, he's got some balls to do that. First time he's made me smile since he arrved.ahaha
So his standing up for us against the SFA/SPL didn't make you smile?
Him saying F*** Off to Dundee Hibs didn't make you smile?
His famous Rangers Then, Rangers Now, Rangers Forever quote didn't make you smile?
His appointment of Sir Walter onto the board didn't make you smile?
His successful share issue didn't make you smile?
Christmas at yours will be fun.

Thanks for the reply mate.
I'm doing insanity the now, currently in week 2 but my schedule won't allow me to do it in 63 days, my aim is to complete the programme in 90 days. The results are not important to me, I'm not going to looked "ripped" after it, thats fine. My aim of doing it is purely to have a guideline to follow to get me fitter and to make me stick to it (in 90 odd days). That is my personal challenge to myself.
I have a garage full of boxing gear and like to hit the bags however I'm staying off them while under this programme purely as a mission to get myself fitter. Jogging etc works in spells for me but I havent done anything meaningful in a while (two knee ops in the past two years). So currently insanity for 40 minutes a night after the wee man is in bed is working for me.
The Protein question is purely for muscle recovery as I'm (naturally) feeling sore after working out. So I will try some Whey immdiately after a workout to see if it helps.
