  1. And how is he going to sue the 7400 Yahoos who have a go now they know he can't take it at the next of game. If this wasn't so disgusting it would be a total brass neck for Easdale.

Abuse and unfounded allegations carry more weight when they come from people on your own side, it is the oppositions 'job' to abuse their opponents.

  2. Twenty years ago I worked in a factory and found out the safety officer, at a safety meeting had said derogatory things about me. My manager was present at this meeting and I felt these comments unchallenged would affect my chances of promotion. One simple letter from my lawyer and the safety officer was at the next meeting retracting what he said and indeed praising me, six months later I got my promotion.

This site was pulled up and reacted in the same way as the safety officer, surely Craig could have did the same.

  3. For all intents and purposes it effectively would, just look at Abramovich's ill fated attempts to move Chelsea which fell foul of the Chelsea Pitch Owners.

If Abramovich wanted to build luxury apartments overlooking a pitch in a prime London area he probably could.

  4. Whatever the numbers that have signed up, I have yet to hear of a movement of fans who are against this.

So, we have 6k to 10k signed up, and the remainder either not renewing or apathetic.

Hats off TB, you're certainly not apathetic.

So, have you sat down, taken a breath and worked out why you're in the minority?

Even saying 10k have signed up, the remainder ARE renewing so it is clear who is in the minority

  5. No football board in the world would turn away 30k season ticket holders either.

Have 30k season ticket holders signed up to this scheme or are you using your Seville calculator again, the last I heard it was in the region of 6k.

  6. Following your logic then, no football board in the world would sell their biggest assets to a third party in order that they could be leased back to that Board?

Is that the way you see things?

Name a football board that HAS signed over their biggest assets to their customers in return for their custom. Rangers have been first with many things in football but I highly doubt this model will be one of them.

  7. That is, at best, disingenuous. A football club is not like any other company. If a fan is unhappy with the product he or she doesn't just go to the competitor club and start following them.

In the case of a football club, not only are the fans are the biggest asset, they are also the only constant. Staff, players and directors come and go, but the fans remain.

One would have to ask why a company board wouldn't jump at the opportunity of placing its most expensive assets into the safest hands possible to ensure the continuation and safeguarding of those assets.

    Okay I'll rephrase

No football board in the world would sign over their biggest assets to their customers in return for their custom.

  8. You either know the answer or you don't know the answer.

If you know the answer, be a stout fellow and do share.

If you don't know the answer, one can only guess that you are asking the question rhetorically in order to support the argument that the board may very well be considering the cheaper offer.

In that case, perhaps you'd be able to suggest a reason why, after 10 full days, they still haven't accepted it?

It was a genuine question, I take it you don't know either

  9. Let me answer this one in the way in which most Rangers fans right now are annoyed about the whole saga.

The point here is that the board DID NOT TRY and get a cheaper loan elsewhere. Rather, they have been found out with their payday loan attempt.

Pathetic all round I'd say. They now leave themselves no option but to accept the cheaper loan as a means of getting back onside somewhat with fans.

    So you don't know either.

  10. They did this last year and got nowhere it seems. Since then the club have accepted loans which appear inflated in terms of costs.

Thus, I don't blame King for being as frustrated as the rest of us. However, it's up to him to apply pressure in the correct ways - such leadership and transparency would go a long way. As would his indications of exactly what finance he's offering.

A lot has been said by both parties in the last few weeks, no more needs said publically before they meet.

Have the board actually declined the cheaper loan.
