  1. Why the fuck is McKay not playing?????!!!!! We're more concerned about them, when we should be letting them worry about us!!!
  2. This insult is really pissing me off now. Hills have brought them in from even money to 17/20. Against Rangers? I don't care what league we are in.
  3. I know what you mean. I think we have a better chance at their place than Ibrox because of how we would change our style at home i.e. open up more.
  4. http://www.rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/item/3273-lee-out-fran-a-doubt
  5. I think without Jig or Fran upfront we will find it really difficult to hold the ball up front. I've just got a feeling it will keep coming right back at us. We will need to break with pace and numbers to get any joy I think. I've got concerns about their high balls into our box, but I've been wrong before and I will be again (I hope).
  6. I will ignore the "this one" comment above (unless you want to PM to elaborate) in the same way you are avoiding the key issue I brought up of your use of the word 'fool' when people disagree with you, which I've just proved. Anyway you are annoying me sufficiently that I will allow you the upper hand on this one, as I can't be arsed with your attitude (I notice you didn't elaborate on "what you were going to do next time" when asked to). No more from me on this thread. Over and out!
  7. Really? Quote from you on the Traynor thread - "only a fool would believe this is traynors work and only traynors work. " Delivered on a plate sir!
  8. Kuznetsov, I will refrain from insulting you on a personal level for your 'perceived' perpetual negativity. I think you should refrain from the contant use of "[if you don't agree with my standpoint] you are an utter fool". You use the phrase constantly and it's a back door way of insulting anyone with a different opinion to yours. I can give examples if you want e.g. "Jim Traynor is Charles Green's mouthpiece". Every word he utters is Charles Green's words according to you. You can't possibly know that 100% but you still thought it was OK to call anyone who thought otherwise "a fool". Acceptable???
  9. I had posted the other night that it was my last post for this very reason (I didn't say I wouldn't look in on the latest thread headings for 'exclusives' ) i.e. I was sick fed up of every thread being swamped by the same negativity, sometimes just for the sake of it, or so it appeared. I admit that some of my language used on the post was not acceptable, but it was my 'last hoorah' or so I thought, so I was letting my frustrations go. Thanks admins for adopting such a sensible approach, (and forcing me to eat humble pie and coming crawling back again). It was badly needed to bring this forum back to the refreshing, enjoyable forum it once was. I hope it works.
  10. You really do talk utter shite at times. Were you at the Ajax game at Ibrox (I think I know the answer) when we had most of a team out injured or suspended - 1996 I believe. We lost 1-0 with a second string practically that night. Laudrup played them on his own. Ajax were raving about him, saying it was one of the best displays they've seen against them in Europe. They bid for him straight after that. They eventually got him a couple of years later, and said they had never forgotten his display.
  11. Laudrup - always a God in my eyes. Welcome home to the best player I ever saw in the jersey.
  12. The same could be said for the footnote that you persist in having in your posts i.e. "As usual, there were offensive sounds decent people have come to abhor". Fortunately for Scotland, they wont be back in Europe for a while after Pierre Webbo's second half goal gave Osasuna a 2-1 aggregate win".Quote by James Traynor, our new head of doing greens dirty work." You are doing the work of our detractors. Any dhim looking in will have a field day with that - one of our 'own' doing their work for them. By the way - Alex Ferguson once said Rangers got rid of him because they were bigoted and he had a Catholic wife. Would you refuse him as your next manager? Naw - I didn't think so. Your views on JT are hardly likely to be balanced.
  13. Sorry I'm in the wrong game - the first part I could have written myself! The amount of 'clicking tocks' I've read from Leggo over the last 2 years would keep a Swiss gift shop going for a decade, because they are almost all still ticking...Charles Green, Spiers, Phil MacAvity, or whatever his name is now (heard he was working under cover in an Irish petrol station, going by the name of Phillip MacCormick ), Duff and Phelps, etc, etc......
  14. Well SHOCKAROOOONY
  15. And with his style of play i.e. back to the defender, and then the famous 'Mols' turn, he would have been 'crippled' by now in this division with no protection, no doubt.
  16. What is this goal drought we are trying to resolve? Averaging 3 goals a game these days and winning this league in a canter. It's the goals we are LOSING that is the problem . And before anyone says ex players like Danny Wilson. He thought he was too good for us when we were in the SPL.
  17. I feel quite sad actually. A league that we've already won. 25 goals in the last 8 games. Exactly the same next year. And our fans want "hunners o' goals" and some kind of short term myopic 'fix' like you do when your chances of winning the league look like fading. Did I say I feel 'quite' sad. Can I change that? I fuckin despair. We've got a chance to nurture a system and a young team to grow together....aw fuck forget it. ALBERTZ! ALBERTZ! (don't think he has a club now either).
  18. Re-gurgitating something that you thought was gone ages ago, and is never the same, and of no value when it comes back? I agree!
  19. NO, NO, NO!!!! The game is changing now. A lazy centre forward (who is also getting older and slower) is no more acceptable than a high ball launched up the park because you have a giant centre foward, just because he can score goals. We have an opportunity here that we will NEVER get again i.e. we have 3 years to create a system all of our own, built on 'pass-and-move' football based on mobility with the same core of young players bonding over that period, getting to know every detail of how each other plays, and fighting for each other. But more importantly a system that won't change regardless of who is injured. It's what Ajax have done (again!), it what Barca did, and it's what the German national team have done (and they will be the top force in international football in the next few years because of their patience. There is no place for a Boyd, Kyle etc in that ideology IMHO. It holds that ethos back.
  20. Don't be so sure. After all the gloating about us having to start at the bottom? They would have to accept all of a sudden being on a level playing field with us. That is what would be so funny, as they would be in a complete quandry. They would not accept that scenario lying down. At least their fans wouldn't. But who gives a shit?
  21. This could be the biggest dose of Karma ever. We were confined to the grubber and took it with dignity but now that we are there the only way is up. If we've to start at the bottom and work our way up, and can do it in England then it's an opportunity that we may never get again. At least your through the door into the land of mega bucks and TV deals. Don't forget we would very quickly be in the cup competitions, Wembley play offs etc. The mhanks would never accept the route open to us and they will never be invited at an upper level. They would be in a blind panic at would the future would hold. They get their CL money and we are on the ladder to mega TV deals at some stage, and able to attract real quality as we progress.
  22. There were other clubs contacting the show on air to say it was a 'Yes' from them, but I didn't catch who as I was just getting into the car. They were all talking about Swansea, Cardiff, Wrexham and Berwick as precedents with regard to the FIFA stumbling block, and the Belgian\Dutch cross border ladies league. This is the first one that definitely has legs, and was delivered straight from the conference chairman who voiced his approval.
