  1. Interesting to hear this interview on Talksport this morning. http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-news/football/130115/exclusive-conference-chairman-brian-lee-refuses-close-door-rangers-189293 Keys and Gray contacted 18 top Conference teams over the last week since Charles Green was on to see how open they would be to Rangers coming in. The majority responded that they were definitely in favour. So they got the Conference chairman, Brian Lee, on this morning to advise him and he said that provided the FIFA obstacle could be overcome other obstacles were not insurmountable. He said the Conference are have a meeting on Monday and this will be part of the agenda. Even though many would never want it, it was very refreshing to hear any 'majority' come out in favour of having us, even if it is to line their pockets. As the show went on other Conference clubs were contacting the show to say they were in favour. Then Andy Gray started getting tweets from annoyed Dhims (obviously getting pretty annoyed about a show of open arms inviting the 'evil' Rangers). "Paul has just tweeted saying that he won't be tuning in any more as we are just a Rangers propoganda machine this week. Well Paul, no problem mate - you won't be missed [Keys laughs and says it's so funny]".
  2. Thanks mate. Very informative response but sadly one I thought might be that case. I think I would honestly stick one on that little fucker Whyte's 'Dan Flynn' if I saw him. Not very enlightened but would still feel good. And I think my old man looking down would approve.
  3. I can't help losing it when certain 'raw' topics come into my head every now and again. And it happened again tonight. I was watching the English games today and thinking 'do we really have a genuine connection with any of them?'. I don't mean the fans because I'm well aware that (probably Chelsea apart) the Dhims propaganda machine went into overdrive over the last couple of decades promoting their 'lovability' (based on insecurity I might add. Common in someone with a 'vicTim' mentality), while telling everyone how 'unlovable' we were. I will admit that throughout that time I chuckled, and often still do, when I would tell the Dhims "we are comfortable with who we are - The People. We don't need others to love us before we love ourselves, which is common for vicTims'. But anyway I started thinking about when we played Arsenal EVERY year in the 60s (and probably before) in friendlies. I was VERY young but I seemed to remember Ibrox being pretty full. So much so that when I did my normal walkabout on the terracing, looking for the "Macaroon Bars and Wrigglies Spearment Chewing Gum" seller, while my dad stood with his mates, there were so many there that I got lost and had to get a tannoy announcement for the old man to collect me at the police room under the main stand. They were real 'friendlies' and we DID have a special relationship with Arsenal back then, and it was reciprocated. Should that little slimey bastard Whyte be allowed to wipe a bit of that history away by pawning our shares in Arsenal? Is there anything that can be done to re-address this little scumbags carefree actions? Have any of the supporters groups approached Green on the matter?. Does anyone know?
  4. Bullshit. You've obviously not read the post. I don't see any 'gang up because of Jim Traynor. I think it was just an excuse for you to air your diapproval of the appointment again. Criticism of Comeofit on here was not based on his views of JT. They are because of his perpetual criticism of ALL THINGS Rangers.
  5. Hello, anybody there..................................................?
  6. Not strictly true. Why would you leave behind your current customer to try to attract a new one? No business sense in that. What they are trying to do is re-brand to attract the younger age group AS WELL. You ALWAYS look after your current customer first in business.
  7. Well there we are - just as I thought - Fuckin Einstein has it all thought out! Lets'get you in charge mate and we'll go places.
  8. It's probably not 'cos you complain or moan about every fucking thing under the sun to do with Rangers, and Green is just one of them. The list is endless. My contributions to the forum are very irregular these days as every discussion I click on that is of interest, your name (and one other normally) appears and I think 'fuck that - I'd rather hang from a beam than read more moaning faced tripe from this bloke again. You must be a fuckin joy to live with. You moan about every fucking thing and person: Green, McCoist, Murray, Traynor, past board, present board, share issue, Green's honesty, Green's plans, Green's attitude, moves to England. Go on GIVE US YOUR WISDOM. Don't criticise what we are doing, have done, or are thinking of doing. YOU TELL US WHAT WE SHOULD DO. Knocking down is something any FOOL can do. Building things takes a bit more. Who should be in charge at the top? Who should be manager? What league should we play in? Oh by the way Admins, if I'm starting to tread over your line of 'free speech' do me a favour and pull the plug on me now. I don't give two fucks because I'm ready to flatline whenever I come on here now anyway and see every thread about MY team sabotaged by people who do the job for our worst enemies. I've said before - walk in to the Louden Bar and air the same views. You guys love phrases like "I say it as it is! I don't care who doesn't like it!". What you don't say is "when I'm at my keyboard".
  9. I think he already had that covered by saying "only ManU, Arsenal and Newcastle have better attendances in the UK. We've got higher attendances than Sellik and they are in the CL, and we are in the lowest league". I think to then go on and speculate about how many season tickets they will sell next season wasn't needed. That's their style, not ours.
  10. Yep, fair comment on that one. Lacked a wee bit of Rangers dignity. That was the kind of comment better left unsaid, I'll agree.
  11. Being a bit pedantic there GS. He didn't dwell on them at all. Why would he? He made a very valid point in response to a question whether the fans would support a move to the Conference League. And he replied - "why not, we've got the 4th highest attendance in the UK, and higher than Celtic, who are in the Champions League. And that's us playing in a worse standard than the English Conference". His comments were relative (although possibly pie in the sky).
  12. As title - Charles Green on Talksport - 10.45 approx
  13. If you are talking about his NUJ post - he will probably get a frickin medal!
  14. Which would have to mean they had a legal contention?
  15. Not publicly. But we know they have fairly strong links and it's open to personal opinion. I know what mine is.
  16. So was the supposed appeal deadline date in late December waived? Or was it a fictional date to begin with?
  17. It's 2 weeks on from the supposed official cut off date for them to appeal. Is anyone any the wiser as to whether they have actually appealed, or been given some kind of waiver on that cut off date? All threads to date have been speculation. Surely there must be an official source.
  18. Makes no odds really. He will still get away with the same old shit he has always pedalled. All he does is use other 'clean(?!)' runners to do his work - like Alex Thomson and Spiers.
  19. Wait a minute - didn't the Billy Boys dress as Teddy Boys for a time in the 60s. You will have UEFA on us again.
  20. You reckon? "I'm fairly sure his gang used to happily slash people" - Quick phone the papers. Exclusive! Glasgow gang in the 50's and 60's possibly slashed people!!
  21. You obviously THINK you do! BTW you forgot about - rape, kidnapping, burning villages and stealing harvest!
