  1. What is the relevance of these posts? Am I missing something?
  2. He'd look a bit of a knob tweeting how does it feel to be without a home, like a rolling stone, #WATP' and then saying 'I'm staying where I am'.
  3. Looks like Burnley trying to get him to do a last minute turnaround.
  4. Joey - 'Dont Think Twice - It's Alright', It's a 'Simple Twist of Fate' at this twilight of your career, that will bring you north, so 'Like a Rolling Stone' you will go on to pastures new, and hopefully you will end up 'Tangled Up in Blue'
  5. Back on a football front. I watched Zelalem very closely. He was very tidy at times, but he slowed our whole game down. On the odd occasion when we had a wide runner in space, he feigned to play the pass wide, then checked inside and played a non-effective ball inside. While it looked clever it got us nowhere and left the wide runner having to get back again after a wasted run. He's clever but not intelligent, and that's what separates the good from the very good. He doesn't fit - full stop for me.
  6. I totally respect your views mate, but everyone has different DNA and I don't think you are in a position to define 'should or shouldn't' in those conditions, and your use of the word 'trotting' tells me something about your view on the people who did stand their ground. I can say hand on heart, even at 55, if those bastards were running up to within feet of me and goading me, I would not have turned the other cheek. I might have 'trotted' towards them rather than 'manfully striding away'.
  7. Totally agree. MW didn't want our season to end with a whimper. We didn't even manage a whimper since beating Celtic. I've never seen a team so powder puff at cross balls, so . Tav's attempt with Stokes header was an indication why he's not highly sought after - his defensive game is woeful. What annoys me most about today was the lack of desire. We've become kind of 'Billy Big Bollocks' since beating that lot, and worryingly our management team have not been able to knock it out of them.
  8. It will be interesting to see if their theory is correct that Neil Lennon was "constantly attacked and victimised" because he was an Irish Catholic will carry over into Brendan Rodgers. Or will it prove our theory that it was because he was an antagonising little bigoted ned who courted trouble. I wonder.
  9. Like the idea but I think i would wait to see if their defence looks 'terrified' first.
  10. Like to give us a clue to what the proposed song is first?
  11. Kids are too young for this shit. I still look back and treasure my first strips. Buy the kid what you feel like mate. The world wont stop turning if you do.
  12. Something a bit creepy in your choice of language mate
  13. If you guys reckon that forum is a suitably adequate vehicle from which to 'break a story' then fire away. I don't go anywhere near it and neither does anybody I know so he didn't 'break it' for any of us.
  14. Oh dear me Joey - all that money and you are wearing the same clothes you had on Saturday!
  15. I've heard on very good authority that Joey is in George Square tonight with his own band playing 'Marching Home Through Georgia' as a dedication to his wife Georgia. He is telling everyone that his reason for coming to Glasgow is that his final move will be to honour his wife for her support through his troubled times, and he heard that one side of the city does a mean rendition.
  16. Any chance this thread could get back on track with the title. There is no evidence that Joey Barton is anywhere near Glasgow, but it's turned into a conversation about two blokes that I don't give two hoots about with all due respect.
  17. Who 'broke the story'? Are we still talking here about some bloke off another forum???? Can we keep this in perspective? Guys on that forum (or any other) don't 'break stories'.
  18. Yes, that was yesterday he went home to give us an answer by the end of the week. Not today. Seems though that a couple of blokes on another forum are getting the same amount of coverage which I find quite sad.
  19. And all the while..........................is Joey Barton in Glasgow again? I doubt it.
  20. I could be wrong (again) , but FF have also been seriously wrong in the past with 'insider info' e.g. the last big tax case result which we had "won hands down".
