  1. what I love about leggo is how no one ever appologises to him when he's proven right.

It works both ways. He was SOOOOO far wrong with Whyte that his little 'I was also duped guys' under the radar apology was totally insufficient. He posted 'facts' on a daily basis that I can re-post on here if you like about how Whyte was going to be the second coming. His fawning over Whyte was cringeworthy. Just to change that overnight (after an 'I was duped' comment) and start calling him 'that little thief Whyte' just made him look plain stupid. And his being mistaken about Whyte is NOT the same as other punters being duped. Other punter didn't post on a daily basis that they had 'lots of evidence' to back their support of Whyte. HE LIED ON A DAILY BASIS. That's the difference. People read his article at the time and got hope from it that our Club was in safe hands. He abused that by LYING to Rangers fans. He's a nobody!

  2. This clown is getting on my nerves now. No matter what your views are on Charles Green, as a 'Rangers fan' would you go down the same road as this little man Leggo i.e. feeding into the hands of the dark side?

He does an article today about Green and in a very short article thinks it's appropriate to refer to his 'beloved' Rangers as The Green Rangers, not once but TEN times in the one article.

Go away Leggo and deface some more of the Britney posters on your bedroom wall. Now theres a good lad.

  3. I'm intrigued though with your racist remark. I know you Edinburgh crowd like to feel you are a wee bit more enlightened then us Weegies ( I worked in Edinburgh for many years). But I was never called a racist in all my time there for calling them a shower of fannies when they tried to slag me. So enlighten me moaning faced one.

    No Don't. Good night.

  4. banter when it suits. i was there in the 80's "pal".

  5. you know people are desperate when the excuses are being rolled out one after the other. zzzzzzzzz

Listen pal, I was tongue in cheek initially about you being the biggest moaning xxxx of a Gers fan. But I was out for a couple of hours and you have been here the whole time on a Saturday night with nothing positive to say. Go enjoy life bud! Get out of Edinburgh to start with.

  6. and pay for it we did. :(

Can I just say there is a misconception that had we known what was to lie ahead we ALL wouldn't have had the times and players we had during those times. BULLSHIT as far as I'm concerned. We all have different mindsets, but that sure as hell aint my philosophy on life. I was there and watched us run Bayern Munich ragged on their own patch until Mols got his injury. I watched Franz Beckenbaur pull his jumper over his face because Rangers were pulling them apart in Munich.I watched us trounce PSV with Van Nistelrooy and all. Parma, Leverkusen, etc etc. The joy and pride I felt lives with me forever and will never die. And for the record Advocaat as manager has every right to say "I want that player, can I have him? Will you pay what it takes Mr Chairman?" If Mr Chairman says "yes, don't worry I''ll get your man", why the hell is that the managers fault? It wasn't Advocaat who went out in a private jet to get them. All he did was ask his chairmen if he could have them. Is it the kid's fault if the parent says "go into the sweet shop and here's all my money"?

Everything happens for a reason. The joy I had watching my team then was for a reason. The joy I will get watching my team rise from the ashes will be for a reason. NO REGRETS - EVER!

  7. i was in constant contact with the club making my concerns known sadly i was ignored. i made my feelings known at the time to friends too who laughed and declared us the biggest club in scotland and said everything was ok and murray knew what he was doing. so no, not a hindsight genius. i seen it coming, just like i knew ally being manager was going to be a disaster which it has been

So you've not just recently turned into Rangers most moaning fan? You've been doing in for fuckin years! Thank fuck I've not had a season ticket next to you. Can you imagine? The 4th goal goes in against Stum Graz or PSV. The stadium erupts as Rangers are looking like a Eurpoean force and meanwhile Kuztetzov is screaming "Stop everybody, the end is nigh. We are going to pay for this!"

  8. you one of the ones that were over the moon when we went £83m in debt just to keep wee dick at the club risking the clubs future? strange coz when the money dried up and a challenge came from celtic he could not run away quick enough. rangers won trophies before and after he was here, we didnt need to risk the clubs very existence to win a few domestic cups

Did you complain at the time or are you just another hindsight genius?

  9. ....... the day advocaat darkened our door

I had many of my greatest memories when the Wee General was in charge, e.g. Parma, PSV, Leverkusen and I don't remember too many complaints in the crowd then. To say he darkened our door is just ridiculous IMHO.

  10. Is it just me who wants to explode watching this imposter? He wanders about like he is (a) a class act and (b) a hard man. He is as hard as my first kack, which probably ran down my leg, and that description probably fits his play as well.

The laziest ball in the game? The ball he played consistently today (and badly) i.e. the full back lump into the box for nobody in particular. Get to the byline? - nope. Play one twos? - nope. Defend well? -nope. Play with passion and commitment? - nope. Do ANYTHING postive of note? -nope!!!

Aaaargggghhh! Surely to fuck we can do better than this at right back?

  11. you would think there was a share issue on the horizon.....

That's a fair point. I would rather these billionaire deals were announced if\when they are done to serve as (a) a major boost to us (b) a blow to our many detractors. Otherwise they have the opposite effect when they don't materialise i.e. a blow to us, and ammunition to our detractors (as well as a blow to CG's credibility). It wouldn't be the first time such a ploy was used to sell season tickets\shares. But he may well deliver so fingers crossed (although Ally's tongue in cheek comment about this news being in Viz makes me wonder).

  12. Scottish & Newcastle Breweries have leased offices in Ibrox for years, which goes back to when they sponsored us under McEwans Lager (don't know if they still have them). Sandy Jardine was actually a rep for them at the time and based out of Ibrox.

I don't know how relevant that is.

  13. Do Ceptic have a similar deal with JJB that we have???

At the new JJB store in EK.......Septic were considerably more prominent with the mannequin display and there wasn't a single RFC shirt displayed.

Knowing EK that's probably not the best sales technique to get people into your store. No wonder their sales are plummeting!

  14. I'll tell you what - any possible investor looking in on last night must be rubbing their hands at the potential return for their money. Especially if it's merchandise. I would imagine any good marketing departing would have to have a good 'feel' for the demographic they are trying to aim at, and judging from the seige mentality and defiance building up I think it's clear the punters are going to be proud to wear our merchandise in great numbers for years to come. Ashley would love to tap into that I'll bet.

  15. This is a genuine question from the standpoint of someone who has no axe to grind either way.

I know there will still be a hell of a lot of people out there who will carry the 'Anti - CG' banner for a long time for various reasons e.g. gut feeling, undelivered claims re investors (deeds?), stubborness, too proud to change opinion. And to reiterate, I'm not judging anyone regardless of what side of the fence you are on.

I just get the feeling that John Brown (and others) must feel that any head wind he felt in his sails is turning direction and blowing against him. This is not a go at JB (and I hope the thread doen't go that way as it's not intended). It could apply equally to BK.

I just get the feeling that the fans have no stomach for in-fighting and power struggles. I get the feeling that the most over-riding thought among the fans now is 'seige mentality' - time to get our wagons in a circle and start our fightback. CG could still prove to be bad for the Club ultimately - we don't know. From where I sit he seems to be winning people over rapidly (possibly due to being VERY streetwise, and knowing exactly the things the punters want to hear).

Is that how others see it? Can anyone see another genuine contender gain enough momentum in the current climate to gain control of the Club. Or more to the point, enough people supporting them in another power struggle?

  16. I'd like to see some craft and guile added in midfield as we are thin on the ground in there. I don't want to come through the lower divisions nurturing a high ball game. Still delighted we are signing though. When was the last time we actually got a couple of players we said we were interested in? We were fed so much shit in transfer windows in recent times under CW.
