  1. RM is a fantastic site that doesn't ban easily, I like this place too mind.

Totally disagree. RM is an immature site i.e. go with the crowd or you are hunted and immature admins who wouldn't dare use the same condescending comments face to face. EVERY comment I make I would gladly make face to face. I've yet to see ONE comment on here from an Admin that is even close to patronising or condescending and they never act like little keyboard Hitlers. IMHO of course. But if you enjoy RM who am I ?

  2. nor do I wish it to.

I concur. I like a forum where Admins act like boxing referees rather than primary school teachers or a big 'Boss' with a primary school 'do what I say or else' attitude that they would NEVER dare use face to face.

  3. If Ally was that behind Brown, why did he say that he'd buy a season ticket like a hot if he was a fan?

I doubt Ally's feeding Brown anything. Ally saw Browns performance at the RFFF meeting.

Dell, I'm not insinuating anything other than the fact that Ally either knows Brown's movements or he is blind, deaf and dumb. The information I've given is FACT. Ignore all the other stuff I've said but even the fact they are drinking buddies makes the whole thing seem a bit bizzare. No?

  4. What I don't get about this whole John Brown scenario is that Brown and McCoist are drinking buddies. They frequently go out in EK for a pint. What I don't get is this impression that Brown is off on his own mission and causing a conflict with Ally's views around season tickets etc.

It's not like it's an ex player who Ally hasn't met for a while trying to get a newspaper story. These two guys are mates. What's going on?

It's pretty much certain that Ally knows the Mhank EK property developers that are\were supposedly backing Brown. Ally and Bomber are very close mates with James and Paul Kean (the biggest property developers in EK, and box holders at Breezeblock Boulevard I might add). Google them and you will see that Ally is actually trustee of their sports complex in EK. The Keans were once questioned about their major contributions to the EK Labour Party. Those two mhank backers of Brown, Stewart and McKenna, also EK property developers, were also questioned about their politcal activities previously - you've guessed it - major contributions to the EK Labour Party. The Daily Record interview recently in which Bomber announced Stewart and McKenna as his business partners was given at K-Park. K-Park is the sports complex owned by James and Paul Kean, of which Ally is the main trustee.

There's more to this than meets the eye and Ally is closer to Bombers movements than a lot of us care to believe. I've absolutely no doubts about that!

  5. You may or may not like him. I loved him as a player. One of the most dependable players I've ever seen at the Club, and hard as nails with no shortage of skill. I personally know how much Rangers means to him and for that I am willing to cut him a wee bit of slack, although he has failed to deliver much recently based on his promises, which has been disappointing.

I don't agree with constantly calling the guy a drunk. I think that lacks a wee bit of class. He may not be the best narrator in the game, and he may like a swally like the rest of us, but suggesting he is drunk at every event is wholly innacurate and unfair in my view.

  6. always thought sinclair was a celtic man? disgusting if true that he is allowed to coach our future stars

He was brought up a Catholic and went to St Brides school in EK. To be fair to the guy - I doubt if he ever attended a match at Breezeblock Boulevard in his life. He was one of those guys who just wanted to play football. He played about 3 games a week for different teams even as a kid. Don't know why he never made it. He was a bloody good player, but certainly he had no allegiance to Rangers. I will say he is a good guy though and if you were to ask my opinion he will be giving 100% to the job. If it's not working for him it's nothing to do with what school he went to IMHO, but I can totally understand the mistrust in this 'seige mentality' existence that we are being forced into.

  7. Just a bit of potentially useless information but when Ally was growing up in East Kilbride, Jim Sinclair (Siggy as he was known) was one of these guys who was hero worshipped on the amateur scene. Ally would have looked up to him as a young amateur in EK (JS was a good few years older) and would have got to know him many years ago. It may take a lot for Ally to see him as a weak link, if indeed he is, although he will have to prove his worth now.

  8. let's face facts. We won't be in div3. We'll be in div1 or even SPL. If we go to div3 our game would go into meltdown. The financial implications are that many clubs will go bust or have to go part time. The game would deteriorate drastically. The SFA (even with Regan as CEO) won't allow that to happen.

But has Charles Green not called the bluff of SFA/SPL/SFL today by accepting div3? he's forced them into a corner. They need to do something and fast to save Scottish football.Green holds all the aces now.He can demand wherever we play next season(div1 or SPL) that we have no sanctions or transfer embargo. And the SPL must drop its EBT investigation by Celtic's lawyers.

If not then we really will go to div3 and the financial carnage will truly begin.

Rab, you started so strongly in your beliefs and then faded big style in your last sentence. Not a critcism mate, just an observation.

  9. Before I start I know it could\will get worse, but in my mind, of the players confirmed as gone so far:

Lafferty - good in flashes - shite in others - lots of injuries lately.

Whittaker - good flashes INTERMITTENTLY going forward - worst defending full back I've seen at Rangers since going to see them MANY moons ago. Will never hit in PL.

Naismith - you all know what you get, but can he really hit the heights again after a second horrendous injury? We shall see.

Ness - Great potential but plagued by injuries and how often did we actually see him - not a lot.

Shagger (is he gone?) - I actually think Alexander will do a more than adequate job.

Aluko - has he gone? He is the one I will be very sad to see go.

To date I don't see it as 'hit the panic button yet'.

    IMHO

  10. Just curious - those who don't like the Glasgow bit being used - are any of you from Glasgow? It's not a dig - just interstested, because I could probably understand a bit better if that was the case.

  11. Sorry to be pedantic but it's not Glasgow Rangers. It's Rangers and always will be

Sorry but you are being pedantic. You may be factually correct but we are not The Teddy Bears, The Gers etc, either if you want to split hairs. Growing up in the 60s we were always proud to sing of The Famous Glasgow Rangers, and we won't stop now - not for any Grammatic Police.

'As I was walking down the Copland Road I met a bunch of strangers and they said to me we're off to see the FAMOUS GLASGOW RANGERS'.

  12. The honest truth is the Rangers support have lost enthusiam and heart for rumour, especially rumour that favours us. We are sick to the back teeth of rumours that give us hope, only for us to feel even more deflated when it proves unfounded. Us Protestants are a pragmatic lot and we prefer to celebrate facts, and that has never been more true than now. So I will await good factual news when it comes, as I'm sure it will as the tide will ultimately turn.

  13. Ah the same Sandy Jardine who couldn't even organise a wreath from the club for the funeral of Gerry Neef let alone a representative of the club to attend, who despite numerous requests from the Mayor of Nuremberg's office for assistance with a tv programme about Gerry didn't even return a call.

I agree. Mr Jardine has stuck his neck above the trenches in recent times and is seen in a very good light by many as a result. But in my eyes the very negative experiences I have had with him over a number of years still stick in my throat. Torn faced git if you ask me.
