  1. I could accept this if they were still going for the game by game angle but the MO has changed it seems, those boycotting a game we needed to win to get into the semi-final in the first place aren't who I would give first choice of tickets anyway. As for the Union Bears i've seen them at Ibrox about twice this season as a group.
  2. Yes. Enough of our fans have had their lives ruined over daring to sing a song
  3. Plenty are saying the same thing. You don't think it would be quite a cheek for those people to want to go to a semi final against them considering they've pretty much given up supporting the team?
  4. And I was just saying your opinion was wrong and misinformed. I didn't mean that either, however the people being talked about here likely weren't even part of the electorate, and their move seems to be to call for all out boycotts rather than maybe going to the fans board and expressing their concerns.
  5. Considering the UOF's position was to not renew tickets then it's doubtful many of them would have been able to vote in the election anyway. Everyone can have their views challenged but you weren't really doing that you were jumping to some sort of unfounded conclusion. I don't really agree that the fan board members should have big restrictions on what they can say either, it is after all an unpaid position with limited power, they aren't on the PLC or anything like it.
  6. He isn't a sugar daddy but he shouldn't even need to pump millions and millions in, hopefully he has sensible investment planned
  7. Objecting to starving the club of funds doesn't mean that someone is 'closer to the suits' as you put it, it's all very well saying that all supporter groups should be respected regardless but if someone thinks their actions are actively damaging the club then that person is entitled to feel how they want about them regardless of what position they're in. Personally I'm reserving judgement on Ashley and his people, I can appreciate why there's concern but I still don't have any time for the UOF and the boycott talk. As for your last sentence, how do you know none of that is happening? It's early days for the fans board and you're able to send any of them an email with your concerns.
  8. I don't claim to be an expert on anything and i've generally tried to abstain from boardroom/financial debates the last couple of months or so, on RM as well as here.
  9. Look at what the top flight had to offer tonight, we should already be ahead of all the other teams apart from them, so with some investment it shouldn't be as difficult to get back as it may seem.
  10. He's sacked managers easily enough before, Pardew is his mate so that's likely had some influence
  11. Wallace has been a let down, although I don't think he deserves to be a scapegoat, and the Easdales still seem to have an awful lot of power.
  12. I wouldn't think of Wallace as much of a loss when he's been so weak over the McCoist affair but you can throw that at all the board. Confusing times
  13. Not that it's a huge problem to me personally but if you get the chance mention the short notice between being allocated a game and the payment getting taken, bit of a nuisance for some folk I think.
  14. The Neil Lennon stuff certainly made things much more intense, and we played them 7 times in the 2010/11 season
