  1. He didn't say that, he said he would go back, clearly as a joke. I'm not standing up for him as I hate him vehemently but just saying.

It seemed more like a wind up to me.

Even if Ashley does try and get someone on the board there's zero chance he'd choose Green

  2. Criminal. Noun or adjective, that is the question.

I'm fairly sure that if a director of a company knowingly or recklessly embarks on a course of action which is detrimental to that company, then the director can be personally sued for any losses incurred by the company. Let's see.

Legally proving it is probably another matter altogether

  3. The board have quite a bit on their plate at the moment but they did promise transparency.

Off the top of my head, I believe they need to do the following and more:

Make sense of the admin and accounts of the club without a proper handover.

Facilitate a new Nomad to do their due diligence.

Investigate L&L for disciplinary proceedings, execute them, and arrange whatever parting terms are necessary.

Stop the draw-down of the second loan from MA and provide alternative funding.

Pay back MA loans and provide alternative funding for that.

    Organise a share issue.

Deal with AM and KM contracts with whatever severance.

    Re-establish a PR department

    Recruit a chief scout.

    Organise refurbishment of Ibrox.

Investigate onerous contracts and see which can be cancelled or challenged in court.

    Appoint another fan director.

    Appoint a CEO.

    Set up mini-season tickets.

All while continuing the daily running of the club.

Know I'm picking out a single point of your list but by mini-season tickets I assume you mean tickets until the end of the season? That would be absolutely pointless now as they'd sell poorly, look at how the crowds have dropped in the three home games since the regime change.
  4. Of course you can email RFB members that's always been the case despite Llambias's efforts.

However they have removed our RFB email addresses but I'm sure you can manage to contact any of us if so desired.

You could go via the Supporters Liason Jim Hannah if need be, I'm sure he'd pass on any query to us.

I concede that I have an advantage over other RFB members given that I know a fair chunk of my constituency and vice versa.

It's not a personal problem as such, for example I know how to get a hold of you easily enough and as you probably know I'm friends with another fan board member. Not everyone will have that luxury however, and I just think the support generally deserve some clarity when the last official announcement was saying the group has been disbanded. We also deserve clarity on things like the Sports Direct contracts so I'm not trying to use the RFB as a stick to beat the new board with, I know they have several issues to sort out but now they're in power with full access to everything there can be no excuses.

  5. Why would they carry on with Llambias's dirty work?

Persoanally I'm far more concerned with matters such as why we're still paying someone £15k a week to impersonate Alan Titchmarsh and the funding arrangements going forward etc than the RFB receiving an immediate response to a query.

    I would hope they wouldn't.

I agree on that and there are several pressing issues, but the fans board was the support's main way of contact with the regime so it would be good to know if it's worth emailing the representatives about problems such as the one you raise there.

  6. Your information is out of date but no doubt you'll be brought up to speed.

Given the magnitude of the task facing the new Directors I wouldn't read too much in any delay in regards of them responding to the RFB.

As a member of the board you're more entitled than me to read into it or not, but I do think a simple word over whether they're keeping the group or letting Llambias' disbandment go ahead shouldn't be too much to ask.

  7. I don't really blame McCall the blame mainly lies with the Question of Sport captain and the magic clipboard for what they've built.

McCall's had two games already and he must be true to his word about dropping players including Captain Imposter.

  8. the press shouldn't be our friends.

No but there's been far too much indication given towards that because of Jackson's stories against the board. The stories might have been useful but it wasn't done out of any love for the club and that should be remembered before people are rushing to praise them.

  9. I think your hatred of Chris Graham is deeper rooted than you're willing to acknowledge and borders on the irrational.

You also play to a different audience where you posted that.

Not really about the audience, I wouldn't have posted that on here because it would break the rules, the rights and wrongs of rules of different sites is another debate.

Depends on your definition of deep rooted and irrational, I've not denied that there's a dislike but I believe it's with valid reason, as you should know I don't go about deciding to hate people just because I don't agree with them on everything.

  10. This looks simply personal does it not?

In reaction to him being appointed a director.

I've not denied there's a personal problem since he's berated me in the past and more recently gone after friends of mine, doesn't mean the whole reasoning is personal. And you know yourself I'm more than capable of getting on with people that I disagree with.

  11. As I said, It's sad that you have that much bad feeling against a fellow Gers fan who, from what I can see, has the club's best interests at heart, something that you haven't denied.

Have you contacted the board about any other director being inappropriate? Or do you not have the same feeling of dislike or them?

I have already indicated on here that I have reservations about a director, but he's there and I hope that he does brilliantly. Why wouldn't I? Would it cross my mind to contact the board about him? Of course not. I want him to do well and he deserves the chance to have a go. I'm entitled to express my concerns but why would I? He has the best interests of the club at heart.

I'm sure that you can come up with some reasons as to try and justify your proposed actions but it iust just comes across as being personal and is not therefore putting the wellbeing of the club as the priority.

I didn't really think it was worth debating that specific point, Chris is obviously a fan but at times I think he's been caught up in his own ego and fame rather than the club's best interests, you'll probably believe that's harsh.

I don't especially believe any other director is inappropriate, not for the same kind of reasons anyway. I'd gladly express directly but politely to Paul Murray my doubts about his track record though.

Although I take the point you're making there Bluedell, it's because I care about the club that I'd express concerns, if it was simply personal vendetta I'd have been complaining to the RST about his role. If the world went mad one day and I got appointed to the Rangers PLC board are you seriously saying you'd find it completely acceptable and that I'd deserve a chance? Good intentions really shouldn't be enough, and my instincts were that Chris' history could only lead to problems, it's surely telling also that the club at no point have explicitly backed him.

  12. We won 17 of our first 20 games. Is that right? So more recently.

Misleading stat really, our performances have been atrocious all season, earlier on we just seemed able to get away with a result more often. And that still involved us getting beat by our two closest challengers at home.
