That was a surprise! After nothing was happening we were all resigned to the fact that nothing would. I am sorry things didn't work out for Gio but it is absolutely the right thing to do. I hope his staff go with him. They look utterly clueless on the bench and the players have regressed in their fitness, stamina and application and our set pieces are deplorable.
As for Gio's replacement, I would prefer it wasn't someone who has recently been sacked but someone who is currently doing a decent job with the aspiration to better himself. I will, of course, back whoever it is.
