    Saw a fair bit of it. I thought there was improvement on last year. There was better movement and energy. They looked fitter and were closing the opposition down much more quickly. There's still a long way to go but this group of players is an improvement.

    I would agree, to us looking on that their lives were drab. I was in Prague recently and you could see the streets and housing estates that were built during the communist era which can be seen all over the eastern bloc and just the sheer lack of any beauty or aesthetic value. I did have a long conversation with our guide about attitudes towards the communist era as I had seen a very interesting documentary 2 or 3 years ago about the DDR. He was old enough to remember the period but also young enough to have a foot in both camps. According to him, attitudes in the Czech Republic are similar to those of East Germans: they dislike the uncertainty of the free market and miss the security of the state providing for them and many, particularly older people, would be happy to return to their former rulers. He does not miss the corruption! Interestingly, I think the biggest building we saw was the Police HQ. I said to my other half, I could picture the thousands of agents interrogating their supects during the old regime. A bit off topic!!

    Great replies, Amms and Frankie. The people who are lowering the tone of the debate with abusive messages need to be told repeatedly how counter productive this is. While I would absolutely condemn this sort of response, it does not change the nature of the original complaint. I think those who have made the initial complaint should continue with it, right to the top of the tree. It has become acceptable to call us Huns, so Nazis and Stasi are just an extension of that. The longer we tolerate it, the bolder they will become. The club need to make this unacceptable "journalism" a matter of national debate. These chancers are being funded by you and I and should not be using their positions to pursue their own bigoted agendas. That is the change that needs to be brought about by BBC Scotland. As for Speirs and English, I don't feed the trolls.

    They will probably "find" a rule that says you can only register 2 free agents outwith the transfer window.

    The guys I go to Ibrox with get all of their information from the Record, Clyde and BBC and they are staunch. They know nothing of the majority of things that are discussed on here and are probably mentally more stable as a result If anyone wants to get a message out to Rangers fans then you will find the majority reading the Record, or listening to Clyde or watching the BBC, whether we like it or not.

    I am so glad the forum is back I can't believe how much I missed dropping in on the forum a hundred times a day. Was in Prague for 4 of the days it was down and was blaming my phone

    I think that is very harsh. I expect and hope to be entertained by skill, good football, effort and commitment when I go to watch Rangers. Unfortunately for the last several years the skill and good football have been lacking. I wouldn't mind being beaten by a better team but I do expect to be treated to some decent football.

    It saddens me to see it. I think Ally is under pressure and running out of scapegoats. It is ludicrous that he is blaming Green. A decent manager would have turned it to the team's advantage.
