  1. Pointless even thinking about CL. Immediate concern is getting a consistent run of decent performances in SFL3 - something which seems to be beyond us at present. Regards Mr Green I do wish he'd tell us how he intends to get the monies due to us from the corrupt SFA/SPL. Launch the exocets please Charles. Lets get them into court. It's the only way to deal with these cretins........
  2. don't worry I'm sure Mr Doncaster from the SPL will explain how one of its clubs can apparently be run by three companies. No rules will have been broken ( if there were any in the first place) and even if there were any broken the fat, lardass lawyer McKenzie will rewrite them anyway. That's the way these things work is it not?
  3. Of course. Him too. This D&P stuff is all a red herring to divert us away from the real culprits
  4. I still want to know the role of LBG in all of this. Did Celtic-supporting Fullerton & kane blackmail SDM into selling to Whyte ? Whyte was a disaster waiting to happen. He hadn't the funds to buy or run the club. AJ said as much at the time. How right he was. I believe this D&P stuff is a smokescreen to divert attention away from the individuals who caused all of this.
  5. as I said earlier playing in a getting-poorer SPL every year won't do them any good. Their current players will eventually leave for better leagues & new ones will be inferior to the ones they're replacing. I genuinely believe we'll be back in the top tier of scottish football next season, whatever it'll be called
  6. without us they'll struggle to keep their current players to play in a meaningless SPL & struggle to attract decent new players. Qualifying for CL will therefore be harder as a result. If he was honest ( which he isn't) Liewell would admit he wanted us kept in SPL but with points deductions for each season over 2 or 3 years. It was only when a few of the hooped horrors from their supporters associations got in on the act he changed tune.
  7. yes it does Scott. It's all about Sporting Integrity you know.
  8. That's what the company Celtic FC Ltd were formerly known as. Both Celtic FC Ltd & Celtic plc are very much in use today. It's The Celtic Football & Athletic Coy Ltd which isn't used much. Maybe Mr Doncaster at the SPL could explain to us how one club can be run by three different companies. Must be in the SPL rulebook somewhere though.
  9. I genuinely believe CW had a plan which went disasterously wrong. My biggest wish is to find out if Fullerton & Kane at LBG blackmailed SDM into selling to CW. If he didn't co-operate they'd withdraw credit. For obvious resons SDM can't say but hopefully the criminal investigation will find out if true
  10. What about a third company Celtic FC Ltd set up in 2001 ? there's actually 3 companies of theirs on the go
  11. Everyone blames HMRC for oldco collapse but forgets on Feb14 the BTC hadn't been decided ( we didn't owe anything) and it was Whyte not HMRC who had applied for administration because of unpaid PAYE & NI. The role of LBG is always overlooked in all of this. I repeat did they force SDM to sell to CW & if he didn't they'd withdraw all credit ? FFS MIH had borrowings of around £750m yet they seemed more concerned with Rangers £18m. Why ? who was involved in this & yes m8 what was muir's input too?
  12. regarding whyte's purchase of Rangers I have the following questions: 1) were manus j fullarton & archibald g kane still in employment with LBG at the said time ? 2) is it true after then chairman AJ claimed to have agreed debt repayment plan with LBG, SDM was told if he didn't sell club to CW all credit would be withdrawn ? were both named in above question the reason for this ? if so for what reason(s) other than their association with Celtic FC? Whyte was an accident waiting to happen. AJ said as much at the time of the purchase. Whyte hadn't the funds either to purchase the club or run it. It is utterly astonishing this takeover ever went ahead. Little wonder it's the subject of a criminal investigation.
  13. Don't be so easily fooled. Their attendances are in freefall at home. Against Dundee recently the ground was half empty. Remember not so long liewell wanted us in SPL as newco with points deductions for 3 seasons effectively handing them the titles. Why was that ? Our absence is hitting them too, especially when reduced revenues affect their massive wage bill. Their CL money this season will only keep them ticking over. Without in seasons ahead they'll face financial KO's like the others
  14. You need to remember Liewell literally bullied these clubs into voting us out the SPL. If they didn't then these clubs wouldn't get the paying celtic support at their grounds next season. No Rangers means Celtic get the lucrative CL opportunity with little opposition by easily winning the SPL. Now though everything is falling apart. These clubs face serious revenues shortfalls ahead. With low viewing figures the SKY deal will be re-negotiated downwards next season (unless we're back). Sponsors are deserting e.g Clydesdale bank. The Motherwells & Kilmarnocks rely heavily on this money. So staying with the SPL has risks especially as it's in competition the the SFL who now have a stronger hand thanks to Rangers. You need to remember too the SPL is bust. It didn't pay Rangers prize money last season. Preumably it was distributed to the clubs? What happens when CG comes calling for it via the court of session ? or the harper mcleod legal bill rumoured to be £1m? goodnight SPL that's what. A restructured SFL top league may well result next season but the Liewells, Petries & Thompson must have no input to it
  15. but if the other 9 are at odds with them they have one hell of a problem. watch this space..........
  16. it's what the remaining SPL clubs decide to do which is the key. If they're unhappy and resign from the SPL what would happen to the SPL ? According to Bill McMurdo's recent blog there's 2 SPL sides ready to quit the SPL. Others have suggested as many as 5.
  17. and if they have all brought about the end of the SPL & apply to join SFL, which SFL Division should they all be admitted to? div3?
  18. EXACTLY. they would then have an excuse to finish the SPL
  19. according to the BBC's spence a vote will take place to end the SPL 11-1 vote. He then says up to 3 clubs will reject meaning the status quo will prevail(presumably Celtic and a couple of others) If what he says is correct, the question is what will some or all of the remaining clubs then do? accept the result of the vote & carry on ? or resign from SPL altogrther & join SFL ? watch how this develops. Spence is naive & clearly doesn't understand this situation at all if you read his article on the BBC website.
  20. Let's not count our chickens just yet. Until he's actually gone we can only speculate.............
  21. One issue I've always heard about their stadium is the narrow accesses around their north stand with the cemetry at rear. All entertainment venues where there are large numbers of people involved have to have evacuation requirements in an emergency i.e. a certain number of people exit in a certain timescale. These narrow accesses would certainly be an issue I'd have thought. Are HSE now questioning GCC constantly giving them safety certificates ? If you recall their old stadium the jungle was located there which wasn't that big & didn't hold that many people compared to what's there now. Their old board claimed redevelopment at CP wasn't possible on its site. Then when Mr Magoo took over a whole new stadium was literally thrown up on the cheap. Question is are overlooked issues now coming to the fore and who'll pay for them? As I said earlier I believe HSE are on the case big style.
  22. I've heard one or two murmurs all not well with their stadium. Anyone heard anything about that? safety issues and the like
  23. What do you mean things getting tight over saville park ?? heard something ??
