  1. We know full well which journalists in which so-called newspapers have an agenda against us. Likewise in broadcasting too. It is vital now that the club takes steps to ban these people from Ibrox for good. Only then will the message start to get thro' to the people who employ these cretins that we will no longer tolerate their anti-Rangers bigotry that CG correctly mentioned recently.
  2. AYE so I wiz only dreaming when they tried to put us in div1 acouple of months ago?
  3. agreed defence looked a shambles at times but I honestly never thought we'd see the day in the third division where we'd be worried about our defence. Next week could go a long way to determining how successful Ally will be. He simply has to get quality into the club in particular in the MF & wide areas.
  4. The worrying area of the team for me is the midfield. It creates next to nothing. Today we had two 17 year olds plus Ian Black & Lee McCulloch. I'm sorry but I think that MF would struggle in any division. Big Jig simply hasn't the mobility to play there anymore and youngsters will be inconsistent. We needs a couple of midfielders and a winger ASAP.Problem is who and are they of good enough quality.
  5. few are in same league as Mr Naqvi. This man is in same league as Abramovich at Chelsea. Only difference is Abramovich owns Chelsea. Mr Naqvi doesn't own Rangers ( yet)
  6. Quite frankly I have no objection whatsoever for this man to have outright ownership of our club(if he wants to). We need people of genuine wealth involved & he certainly fits the bill in that respect.
  7. What amazes me is that most people seem to miss the point in this league reconstruction. The likely hoped-for scenario(for the SPL anyway) is sone sort of SPL1& SPL2 which would virtually make the SFL redundant or significantly downsized in number & power in my opinion. Will the SFL accept this ? Or will a power battle ensue between the current SPL & SFL to see who runs the scottish leagues ? People forget that putting us into the SFL was a major coup for the SFL. For example we now have a situation regards live televised SKY games where the SFL viewing figures are higher than that of the SPL.(After only a couple of games I know). Will that continue and if so what will the SFL do? Interesting times lie ahead, that's for sure. I think eventually both Regan & Doncaster will fall on their swords as their past records suggest complete incompetence. I wouldn't send either for the messages never mind league reconstruction. They're both out of their depth and we can all see it.
  8. the old business (now RFC 2012 plc) is an empty corporate shell with the £5.5m in its bank account which no doubt HMRC and D&P will help themselves to eventually if it gets liquidated although there seems to problems with its parent company (one of whyte's companies )being liquidated as objections were raised. The assets of the old business ( the club, players, ibrox & murray park ) were transferred over to the newco. The newco was/is 'free of litigation' as HMRC said at the time and also 'the club will continue to play at ibrox' ( note words please. HMRC said these at time of newco).
  9. I'm extremely disappointed if we've agreed to that.
  10. did none of you listen to what HMRC said ? 'the club will be sold & continue to play at ibrox'. It's the same club FFS. Even HMRC said it. Don't listen to PFA led by some deadbeat trotsky like Wishart or Higgins.
  11. HMRC did give newco authorisation for transfer of assets from oldco to newco. As they said 'club would be sold and continue to play at ibrox' (note club 'sold' not liquidated which a few of our intellectually-challenged friends from other parts find difficult to comprehend). Also newco would be 'free of litigation' meaning the BTC will be completely meaningless to us now financially i.e. even if HMRC won Newco not liable
  12. Exactly. Opportunists & chancers the lot of them. Rangers had to honour their existing contracts. All of them. Why didn't they transfer over then leave ? spare me the excuses for these players please
  13. Sorry M8 but I don't think any of the departees had any intention of staying. As I said they saw an opportunity and took it.
  14. what I don't understand in all of this is that if there's to be a shares issue or whatever, what's to stop someone or some organisation to try & mount a takeover bid by buying up a majority of shares ?
  15. Young players like Ness & McCabe wouldn't have been on particularly high wages at Rangers. They saw an opportunity to get out & get better deals elsewhere and took it. All I ask of them and all the others who did likewise is to stop bull-shitting us with 'lack of communication' and 'uncertainty'. We know why you all left. We are not stupid. Just be honest with all of us Rangers supporters. That's all.
  16. how can it be a 12 month signing embargo when it lasts til jan 2014? this is beyond a joke
  17. presume edu's going to keep ness company on the bench at stoke
  18. Surely we can sign free agents after Aug31 2013?
  19. As I see it the sole issue was all of these players who didn't transfer over took advantage of the situation to get more money elsewhere. Some of the younger players such as Ness & McCabe wouldn't have been on particularly high wages anyway. P.S I hope CG persists in getting money for them all !!!
  20. I always wondered why the SPL didn't announce the value of their SKY/ESPN contract. I believe there'll be all sorts of clauses in it like us being back in top league again next year ( if it's still called the SPL).
  21. If we win the FTT then the EBT's will surely be deemed non-contractual. Would this SPL investigation then be unable to deem these EBT's as a second undeclared contract ?
  22. My point is if you need to get the right people running the game & negotiating these contracts. Regan, Doncaster & Co clearly aren't
  23. as we still await official figures for the new SPL TV deal (rumour has it that it's reduced but by how much ?) perhaps no one seemed to notice the deal the Dutch league struck recently with Fox International allegedly worth 1billion euros over 12 years, with first year worth 60million and following years worth 80-100 million euros. just goes to show how poor the SPL deal is. Does this not show that another smallish country can negotiate a deal worth vastly more than what ours is if you get the right people in charge. The Regans and Doncasters have been an abject failure. They have not moved Scottish football forward. They must be removed along with their chums like Lawwell and Petrie too whose only involvement appears to be an anti-Rangers agenda whilst Scottish football is dying on its feet.
  24. regards the OP don't forget Aberdeen were giving free season tickets to under12's for each adult season ticket
  25. We need a couple of out and out midfielders for a start and let's have midfield players in the MF please
