Why do "we" not like him?
  2. Well I'm nearly 34 and if we left our house unlocked at any time we would have been pillaged and house set ablaze.
  3. "Duped"? Anyone with a PC could have discovered what Whyte was before and during the transaction. So the fact that Murray, a well connected and wealthy businessman who lives in Scotland wants to believe that he was "duped" is frankly absurd. Murray was forced to sell by LBG as they were wanting to claw in as much cash as possible because they believed that Murray's Business Empire was a risk of failing, in my opinion.
  4. Another zany article by the Legmeister. IMO - As a 'nation', the Scots are more tolerant now than they have ever been, something like 40% of marriages are mixed RC/Non RC, with the huge influx of migrants into Glasgow from Eastern Europe and Africa/Asia, you hardly hear of any racial disturbances. As a Glaswegian and a Scot, that makes me extremely proud.
  5. Apologies Del if I've put words into your mouth, too much red wine last night.
  6. I have a kinship with with Rangers fans who share my values and social responsibilities. Unfortunately not all Rangers fans have the same outlook on life as me. By my reckoning, what you are saying is that you should have an automatic affinity with fellow Rangers fans(which I agree with) but no matter their actions in the name of the club, any indiscretions should be ignored or glossed over? I know a few Rangers fans who you wouldn't spray with urine should they have succumb to a jellyfish sting, and I know a few Timothy's who I class as great friends. I have more of a moral kinship with my Tim mates than I do with yobbo Rangers fans.
  7. What "agenda" is this?
  8. "Most people" sing it? How do you gauge that? And the song describes how some people feel about supporting Rangers? How do you support Rangers? I sing a song about a battle in another country 300 years ago.
  9. The song isn't about Rangers, that's my point.
  10. Both end their statements with words from a song that is not about Rangers, yet various bloggers have issued articles in the past few days asking for unity, yet the singing and chanting of various political/terrorist songs are one of the most devisive issues that concern our support for the club. Sad days indeed in one of the most critical era's this club will ever go through, selfish people want to attach their political views and terrorist affiliations onto the club which in turn feeds "our enemies" with ammunition to hit us with. Happy St Stephen's Day, folks!!
  11. That's a really well thought out and objective piece there, Bill.
  12. I agree that you can criticise people for moaning all the time but who are you to call these people alcoholics?!
  13. The default skin seems quite dull and blurry, whereas the orange skin is a lot better and sharper and more in line with the way the forum was before the meddling started.
  14. Are there any Rangers sympathisers left in the media? No Jum Traynor, Daryl King's away too? Just Queef Jackson left?

How did the protest go anyway? I was in George Square from 3ish onwards and never saw any of these people. Did it go ahead or was the notion of protesting about a piece of cloth being removed from a building in another city whilst standing outside a building which flies a different coloured piece of cloth, just become too bizarre?
  16. Hateley had his purple patch in Glasgow when he was 'class'. World class? Maybe, but it's hard to gauge that especially 15 years later.

Absolutely bonkers, Bill. Far from bringing unity to the support, you drive a wedge between those who think that football and politics should not mix. You make the paranoid Tims seem sane compared to some of the language used in your article. You're our "Tommy from Glasgow".
  18. Thanks. Getting angry wont change a thing. Unless you're going to punch fuck out of him then its a complete waste of energy.
  19. Fuck getting annoyed about such trivial matters. What's done is done. Lafferty got a shit load of grief from the Timothy and some Rangers "fans" too. If he wanted to leave then who can blame him? With Naismith I just can't get annoyed at him. I've met him a few times and he's sound. And I loved how he loved playing for Rangers. I can understand how others are annoyed at him but for me, it's just a total waste of energy and emotion.
