  1. he makes a challenge on opponents, if that makes him better then yes.
  2. and you would never be offensive would you? i have lost track the number of times you have called people trolls. man up, your mock offense is pathetic.
  3. its also a myth that he wins balls in the air all the time.
  4. its extremely tiresome. comical ali-esque.
  5. he actually uses the words "equally good, if not better" from the quote frankie posted which is utter nonsense because we didnt and which also means he is talking about quality and not quantity. its a desperate time when folk have to make up stuff to defend the manager now.
  6. lol thats good mate. not you getting clouted, her getting it off.
  7. short term desperate fixes in the bottom tier. deary me. things are worse than even i thought.
  8. i dont even want to read that interview, it will just make me even more angry. nope, im not going to.
  9. thanks mate. thats all i was looking for and i think reinforces my belief that we need a bigger ground. i was gutted losing out on ledley and commons but kind of glad we missed out on brown! we need to be able to financially compete with them. i do wonder how they will cope against a well run rangers in the future.
  10. theres alot of that going on just now, just seems i am the only one not laughing, our clubs in some mess, again.
  11. how do we do it then? isnt turnover just turnover before any overheads are taken off?
  12. then open your eyes, i see plenty. we have 2 or 3 on here unable or refusing to see the truth. there are even more on other certain forums. twitter is also riddled with those of the 'excuse making blind faith' thinking. trolling in its weakest form there frankie. a comment you didnt need to make. we all know it was because we hired a buying manager who then spent tens of millions of pounds we never had, obviously. och those problems go back even further than that if you want to be pernickity about it. advocaat at least spotted the need for a training ground but the club still dont know how to use it.
  13. according to the club we were. biggest turnover, highest commercial revenue, highest wage bill, more club shops than everyone else and highest attendances in the country at that time(uk). as told on the history of rangers cassette brought out in the late 90'. i cant remember the narrators name, sorry. it was after 9 in a row all our problems started. our problems started with the arrival of dick advocaat. from then on it was always going to end in tears. nonsense. our fans are quite happy drawing and losing in the bottom tier and being knocked out of europe by minnows and out of cups by lower league clubs. our fanbase have lost their ambition and lowered all standards and expectations. that is a fact. david murray has drilled all life out of our fans. just look at our manager for proof, still in a job and still with fans thinking he is upto the job. now that, that is bizarre!
  14. completely different scenario mate. i dont mind another year at the bottom as i know we will be back in the spl after the same amount of time. there is nothing we can do about, no amount of moaning will change their decisions. we roll our sleeves up and get on with it.
  15. which accounts because that is not what i read at the time? i am a bizarre bear though. i am one of the few remaining with genuine ambition for my club. i am also one of the few remaining who believes we can be finacially healthy, stable and successful playing in scotland. i am also one of the few remaining who expect the standards of our legends from the past to be sustained no matter the quality of player at the club, standards and class cost nothing. they couldnt touch us in the 90's when we were actually the biggest football club in the uk!
  16. we were in the champions league which adds almost £20m to our turnover. lol they can handle no european football better than we could because they were richer, better run and, well i thought, bigger. their turnover without european football i suspect is larger than ours without european football. thats probably the best measure to judge size of clubs. our average turnover without europe in the spl was between £38 and £40m. this is celtics, for those years where they played in europe you can take off between £15m and £20m for european revenue. http://sport.stv.tv/football/clubs/celtic/265708-spl-financial-health-check-celtic/
  17. why? we will still be back in the spl by the same point we would if there was not reconstruction.
  18. no, not at all, i dont know why you would ask that if you bothered to read my reply, that was just one example. i did mention ex pats too below that. another example. and signing players from random countries another. oh im not, trust me, i am not. i just thought it was widely accepted they were globally "larger". i have never saw anyone argue it until you did. i am actually pleasantly surprised it may not be true tbh. the gap is only getting bigger atm. we need back in the big time asap.
  19. you dont seriously think so? i thought that was generally accepted that was the case. they certainly get more glamour friendlies than us around the world, no? and paid well for them too. maybe if one of his/her natives were playing for them. like a ki, cha, nakamura, killen, scott mcdonald, wanyama, kayal, izaguirre etc etc. who knows. i do believe however there will be alot more ex pats from the uk and ireland who come from celtic minded backgrounds than rangers ones. they breed like rats and number so many i dont think being outnumbered by them is anything to be ashamed of tbh. its not like the difference between the clubs in the top flight is that huge. the gap is closable imo. but we need a bigger stadium! to put the debate to bed i would love the actual factual figures for shirt sales for each year for the last 5-10 years. it would be very interesting. i dont believe it would be as close as you think but would love to be proved wrong.
