  1. Martin O'Neil won't be a popular guy on here but it says something about him that I fully expected him to pick up points today. Can see Cuellar being an excellent signing
  2. If I have said anything offensive or incorrect I will happily defend my corner. As far as Kuznetsov and Cumbernauld are concerned, I'm to see anything they have said which an objective person would disagree with. Is McCulloch shite at football? Yes, unfortunately he is. Has McCoist done anything to suggest he's a good manager? No, he certainly hasn't. Sorry if the truth hurts. Remember to wear a snorkel when your head gets deeper in that sand folks. All we can hope for now is the future and I don't see how the likes of McCulloch or McCoist can be involved in a direct footballing capacity. Possibly a role in PR for McCulloch and an ambassador role for McCoist would be more apt. PS - I pray to god that McCulloch has taken a massive pay cut to stay with us because he's a £1k a week SPL level player that wouldn't stand out at Aberdeen.
  3. I'm about to watch a film but I'll post my evidence after
  4. If Nolan ever makes a new Batman film you would make a good Joker or Riddler. What makes your posts all the more hilarious is the fact you are a fan of SDM.....oh dear. Maybe you base your measure of talent on SDM's ability to run a football club.
  5. McCulloch has never been a good player in any position and the older he gets the worse it gets. He was much improved as a striker in the latter part of the season but he still only amassed 4 SPL goals all season which is pathetic. I used to think Lovenkrands was a waste of a jersey more often than not at left wing until I saw McCulloch played there.
  6. That's much more critical of Ally than I would expect from you GS?
  7. We have been the talk of the UK but you are stretching it with 'world'. Our media attention hasn't been positive and if you honestly think we are going to get more lucrative sponsorship/brand interest than before with no European football then your head is in the clouds.
  8. no brand is interested in splashing mega cash on us so your point is irrelevant. Nike and Adidas will get us the most exposure and are the best looking brands by a mile
  9. I thought he went to South Korea but he seems to be doing well
  10. Sorry old timer. Hopefully Charles Green sees sense and brings back Admiral. Or maybe even the brand that even the worst of the neds turn their noses up - Le Coq Sportif
  11. Generally with 3 at the back you need to have wing backs or else you will get absolutely destroyed down the flanks. Though as were basically playing a pub team, maybe we got off with the 3 at the back type, no wingbacks, formation that Guardiola deployed last season to the detriment of Barca. Man City are likely going to be playing 3 at the back this season but will play Zabaleta and Kolarov as wing backs. I guarantee they will end up changing it though. It worked for O'Neil for a time but even he ended up playing 4 at the back. Napoli and perhaps Chile at about the only sides in living memory that have successfully deployed it for an extended period. I have heard it said that Wigan played 3 at the back last season but whenever I watched them it was more like 5 at the back.
  12. Any of the Barca kits + the Inter home ones of the past decade all look awesome. Try this for size: or
  13. Presumably Little played right wing back. The fact he scored 3 will surely see the logical move in seeing him move to up front. He is 23 and needs to get a run in his preferred position to help develop his career before he just becomes a utility man. Just think, in 3 years time we could have a quality striker at his peak ready for the SPL and beyond. Or we could have the new Christian Daily. Play players in their natural positions and let them flourish.
  14. Rogers is a risky appointment. Wasn't that great with Watford, sacked at Reading, done very well with Swansea but Liverpool is a whole different ball game. Liverpool are in such a mess and probably require someone with a bit more experience at the top level. They would have been better off sticking with Rafa. His football might be incredibly tedious to watch but look how much they have sunk since he left. Crazy to think he almost won the EPL, won the CL and was runner up after.
  15. Regret not putting Sigurdsson in my fantasy team. He's taking all of Spur's set pieces in the game just now and looks their most dangerous player.
  16. In years gone by I would agree but last season we were outplayed by many teams particularly at Ibrox. It happened under Walter often too. With Walter though despite the shite football, trophies would get won.
  17. Our style of play has nothing to do with rebuilding our squad. We are playing exactly like last season.
  18. Man Utd's midfield is rancid and they don't have a hope.
  19. Probably going to scrap this as there won't be enough participation at this late notice. Feel free to join the RM one 875331-292950
  20. Rooney tends to drop very deep now so it might work with him playing in the hole behind Van Persie. Fergie tends to favour 4-4-2 now though Man Utd were at their best in recent years when they played 4-3-3. A front three of Rooney, Van Persie and Kagawa could be pretty devastating, but RVP is very much a striker now and might not be so strong out wide. Man Utd have no central midfield though. They don't have a hope of winning the EPL or CL this year. I'm not sure how many times Man Utd have to get destroyed in Europe before Fergie decides he needs to splash out a fortune on a new midfield. Chelsea are also light this season in the middle. Man City are very fortunate to have Toure.
  21. RVP is on another level from the others mentioned and he has plenty power to operate as a single striker, as demonstrated with Arsenal. I'm not sure why you are so bothered about power, the likes of Totti and Messi have operated in the middle of a front 3 in recent years and ripped apart their respective leagues. FYI, Adebayor's overall goal record is 152 in 414 games, he is the epitome of mediocrity. He was unbelievable in 07/08 and was ok last season but blew hot and cold.

  23. Let this disappear into obscurity along with Bomber please.
