Rangers fans would have killed me for being Catholic' - Daily Record
Scott7 replied to StuGers's topic in Rangers Chat
I very much doubt that Kitchenbrand would have been worried. A man well equipped to look after himself. -
Rangers fans are playing a blinder..but their loyalty is self-defeating...

He may have a point. I don't know. If he has, it's hidden in an article written in the Ian Archer, semi-comical, post-Groucho, noveau-obscure style of Scottish sports journalism. Is he saying Rangers fans are daft? Aye, you an' aw, Billy boy. -
Wim Jannsen is just the fellow we need.

So, Gribz gets four results out of seven with two correct scores. Cigar? Small one.

0 - 0 half time, 5 - 0 final. Forrest 4, Willoughby 1. Alan McGraw playing for Morton, 101,000 spectators.

Gunners 2 Hull 0. Gribz is on fire.

Played thirteen years for Newcastle, came from near Prudhoe. Seems Magpie-ish.

Loan recalls, perhaps?

I think Sunderland fans were quite happy with Bob Stokoe.

Sounds probable except 0 - 2 for the Hotspurs.

Mark Warburton: Random nature of football has gone against Rangers
Scott7 replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Must be true, then. -
3 - 1 aet. Poor game. City should have had two penalties and the Derby 'keeper should have been sent off for handball. Ref must have a Derby bias in some weird East Midlands conspiracy.
-
Foxes v Rams replay pretty poor. 0 - 0 at HT. May not resume my seat for the second half.

A very good article. The turgid years of mid table finishes were a salutary lesson for those of us who were brought up under the protection of the iron curtain and then became beneficiaries of the McMillan/Baxter years. The plunge to mediocrity was unbelievable. I forgive the author for repeating the heresy that Barton was Championship Player of the Year.

Andrew Davies Ross County - Interesting Article
Scott7 replied to chilledbear's topic in Rangers Chat
I was two footed. Left back, right back, centre half - no problem. Equally inept in all three positions. There were plenty of one footed guys miles better than me. A good one footer is better than an average two footer. I'm thinking McKay. -

Trying to work his ticket in? Fair play to him, I would do the same. His assessment is correct. -
Neiher Aguero or Sanchez is good enough for Chelsea. Their target is Dembele if they can scrape up £60M and offer personal terms to lure him from the only team he wants to play for.
-
Yep. That's it now, though Sunderland are making a charge. Some game at Goodison. 6 - 3.
-
I was going to agree with you , Norris, but in fact it's Pires that I agree with.
-
If Chelsea score once they'll be good enough for more. Costa and Sanchez will be interesting. Everton to lose to Bournemouth. That's the way those two clubs perform after results like last week. The Albion should be good enough for Stoke and Watford could beat Burnley.
-
Finished 0 - 4. Bilic looks ninety years old.
-
City destroying the Hammers - 0 - 3 half time. Sublime football. Chelsea can't match it but they have greater energy and consistency so they will win the league.
-
They've been clever, though. These stars have (ahem) snubbed Chelsea to stay at celtic and one in particular is a now a very valuable commodity even though no buyer has made an offer. He did go to London, however, to see a knee injury specialist.
