  1. if standards don't improve drastically on last Fridays performance surely he will walk to retain his last semblance of self respect.. dear lord am I secretly hoping for another doing today to hasten his demise ? on the other hand a potential 15 point gap could surely never be chased down!!
  2. if you sit back and think about it for a minute. what could he possibly have to tell that would shock us or make a blind bit of difference to the plight we are in now. if he has info that would make a difference then that would reflect worse on him than anyone he could be trying to finger on the basis he should have blown his wee whistle a long time ago if there is one to blow..... he's a busted flush just hanging on for his own good. any talk of protecting the fans or rangers etc is just a deflection from his own shortcomings.
  3. Just shows how weak and vulnerable ally is right now. In true arrogant style he'll deflect responsibility to the bitter end.
  4. The interview process story will be their line re the sfa charges. Ie he is a stand alone cadidate rather than a shoe in by ashley...
  5. this is what gets me about this whole affair. I think it's just ally putting another layer of murkiness between his actual performance and ability and actualy facing up to HIS shortcomings. you know it wasnt me guv, a big bad board man did it and ran away. don't blame me, no other rangers manager has had to put up with what i have blah blah...
  6. to be honest it's a bout time someone started asking questions of ally and his sideshow.. he can expect even more "interference" if he opts to stay on for the year as the guys in charge put the squeeze on him. boy he'll really earn his big bucks now.. the pressure has just started ally...
  7. well well well. we know that the club cant afford to pay him off so whats his line now? At his enhanced rate I would expect that Lambias will have to find that money from somewhere and it doesn't take a genius to work out that will be some poor buggers jobs on the line. nice one there ally. perhaps he should grow a set of his legendary "golden balls" and face up to the media with some truth. as for the board what the hell are they going to do with this situation now..
  8. see milne at Aberdeen making some strange noises today re the need to have Hearts, Rangers and hibs back in the top league for the good of the game... maybe there is something afoot to restructure again..
  9. mm does Lawell having his hand up the arse of various club chairmen, Thompson etc, constitute "having control" of another club!! lol
  10. I just wish all these Ally allies out there would get it. Off course he is entitled to every contractual penny he can squeeze out of us. Just don't expect him to be seen as anything other than a **** like the rest of them.
  11. Just put the three some on gardening leave and get a new manager in now. Say their monthly cost is approx 100k in wages it only needs approx 4000 tickets at 25 quid to cover the cost. Get the right manager in place and that 4k tickets is not that unreasonable, considering how few have been attending .
  12. might have been an idea to read the letter that the whole thread is about!!
  13. yes FS we know that but my question is whether that figure can be reduced next year based on a predicted sales target which surely would have to be downgraded if they failed to sell 400k 's worth this last year.
  14. does that mean if the Cockney, Universally Unloved, Tool keeps pumping in the loan money to allow the club to pay for the shirts that the club buys from SD that he is actually directly inflating SD shares. It's like Tesco buying it's own products off the shelves to inflate it's profits, thereby increasing it's share price> Deary fuck is that legal !!!!
  15. we stop buying then surely the club has to reduce it's estimated sales target then eventually he will get less, but you are right he will still get a minimum. Just hope that it is a variable based on predicted sales and not a fixed amount of sales that the club have to guarantee regardless of the previous year actuals... mind you wouldn't be surprised if we are locked into something like that..
  16. here's how I understand it. PE Ratio is a reflection of the profitability of the company to the value of the shares. every million of profit reported increases the value of shares, which increases the value of the company. it's not actual 11million in his pocket, but would only turn into cash if he was to sell off a wedge of SD shares.
  17. not necessarily so, however they need to sell shirts etc as that's where SD get their profit....
  18. are you at a wind up Steve or do you actually believe that
  19. it was nothing to do with grassing you up just highlighting a bit of double standards onboard the good ship gersnet. don't we all lead sad wee lives typing at our keyboards like madmen.....
  20. Good afternoon zappa. It's ok for rangersitis to call Smith cunt! !! Selective cuntitis?
  21. It sure as hell won't attract a "spending manager" but what an opportunity to become a hero!!!!
  22. It would be nice to think the board have someone in mind and have done some homework on it. It would be even better if they opened it to applicants as I think it's possible we might be surprised at the quality available and willing to back themselves to work wonders despite not having big budgets.
  23. So what do you thinks is going on papa bear? Is ally just an innocent pawn in all this shenanigans?
  24. Off course he is entitled to take us for every penny he can get. Don't expect me to respect him in any shape or form as continues to screw up the football side of our club on a monumental scale. What makes it worse for me is that I expected better from him. We knew Charlie and co were in it for a buck but ally has had his nose so deep in the trough it's a wonder he can breathe
