That doesnt wash ian as he has had plenty to say about other non performers in the rangers set up. My fear is ally is going to slip under the radar in all the hoo ha going on and we will be stuck with him on an extended contract. Also why should he not be "under pressure"? A statement that if he invests he will overhaul every dept top to bottom including playing side would be start. If ally cant handle that pressure then he is the wrong guy

The condescending little p#@$k.. thinks the fans are so gullible we will have a wee moan and then forget it all as we struggle to contain our excitement as we anticipate the next game. It's like ally's attitude of we will sign some new players and the fans will get all excited and ignore my shortcomings. So out if touch with what the fans are thinking..

If it is correct that ally and co's contracts are up in the summer then the club have a HUGE decision to make. Personally i want them gone as i can't see the signs of a manager with a plan and improving. But i think this board and king if he comes in will bottle it and give ally another shot. Question is how long for next contract? Business sense = 1 year would ally accept that. The risk of tying him in longer with pay off etc would be horrendous. Time to cut the tie and make a fresh start

And he should be under no obligation to keep the meeting content secret. All he needs to be sure of is that he is dealing in facts about whats going on and not just bluff and bullshit to destabilise the current board. How can he refuse, especially when he seems happy to have dialog with the Glasgow born loon..

Does it worry anyone that if the boards intentions are only to extract every pound out of the club that their reaction to non direct payment of season ticket cash will be to sell off the assets and shut us down. Could they do it? -
Employ him as chief giver of guidance to the moronic fans of the mighty gers who just can't function without his nuggets of insight into who is currently best able to look after our club! Here's a novel thought. Get a proper manager in that can transform this more than decent collection of players into a functioning unit with a vision going forward and not bleating for millions to spend. Anybody watching this utter pish on show today?

Personally i think he's at his games again to self protect. Starting to build up the scenario that this is a tough job, harder than anyone could imagine, try finding any manager who would find it easy. Won't be surprised if his friend and mentor weighs in soon about first rangers manager to have his hands tied, not enough funds to run the rangers as previous managers have sob sob sob...

Just read some of Allys comments from yesterday. In a nutshell - if we are lucky enough to get promoted this year there are no gaurantees we will get promotion next year as hearts will be strong plus others blah blah. Is he starting to doubt his ability to do this job?

Problem i have with two year deal is what happens if he struggles to get us out of the championship (which is not a crazy thought on current performances) and by this time next year we need to have the convo! It will cost us a lot to pay him and entourage off. IF we keep him on it has to be on a one year contract. Would ally accept that? I think folks that share your view would scream that it was the board forcing out a legend etc no easy answers but this board and wallace need balls the size of melons and the judgement of solomon to make the right decisions in the next few months.

Not sure if correct but other threads are indicating that allys contrac t runs down in the summer. If correct what deal would you suggest he is offered Real Papa, as you want him to be given a crack at taking us into the spl?

Sorry real if you are going to judge his managerial performance you have to forget the other "circumstances" otherwise you get a clouded decision. We can 't afford to get this wrong.

Ok fair enough real papa you are one of the fans who excuse his shortcomings just because he is mr rangers. I take it in two to three years time you will be very supportive of the board as they try and fund a complete squad rebuild for a new manager as we find ourselves two to three years behind the game plan to wrest top spot back from celtic, if Ally does in fact prove to be inadequate for the task. However should he prove to be the real deal deal then I'll be eating my hat..

I find it interesting that you use the word sheep for those (or just me!) that does not agree with grahams piece. If find it insulting that he kinda accuses fans who have formed their own opinions on mcoist as being "sheep" who are led by the evil forces of the bbc, speirs, stewart, vgb, jack irving or whoever, rather than us just being football fans completely sick of the football product. Just saying like...
