  1. You would be better showing your bitterness against those who have been in power and didn't give a fuck about Rangers.

I regularly have. I think he will be a bad influence around the place, and as our recovery is all I care about that is a concern. the worst have gone, I would just prefer if the clearout continued with all the hangers on and we had a true fresh start. just my opinion of course.

    .

  2. mccoist's use to them had absolutely nothing to do with coaching a football team.

that was true for a while but if the board had their ear to the ground they would have realised that after the first summer most of the support had Ally sussed as a fuck up and the benefit they would have gleaned from a proper manager would have far outweighed any "benefits" they had with Ally ..

  3. This will be what makes or breaks the board which was elected at the start of last month.

As a business Rangers are trading at a loss which is unsustainable longterm without funding from somewhere.

If that funding is not to come from institutions or Ashley loans where will it come from?

T3b ? King? Do these people have the funds we require? Can their self-appointed spokespersons vouch for this?

there is the other option of actually having the balls to go in hard with the axe and chop costs, and rebuild from the lowest cost base possible. it's the only sustainable way and until the penny drops we will lurch from crisis to crisis. i doubt Murray will do this as he is too attached to too many at the club. this needs a pretty brutal bastard to get it sorted out. hope i'm wrong..

  4. when you read that the club photographer was threatening Elfideldo for supposedly using one of hi photographs , he has hardly set an environment where sharing everything is the norm... and despite your nb condoning snatching of others web published work is exactly what you are doing in your reply..

  5. you would think that people would realise by now that the process of prosecution for offences in "Company/Business law " does not work the same way as in what we would call "normal" criminal activity. The polis are not going to march round to Lambias and Leach households tomorrow morning with a warrant because of this. by all means the club should be looking for any legal loophole to get out of these contracts but don't hold your breath...

  6. Not even the St. Mirren twitter nor their club site's own report mentions the scorer of the own goal, so I take it they weren't exactly sure either. So too was probably the club photographer who assumed that your usually accurate reports would provide the answer - for lack of better - if any - options. And you chose to take the mickey on purpose on a guy sitting in the rain next to you ... and come on here looking for exactly what?

don't you get it? this is like the daily record running a story few weeks back without checking the facts. if the club photographer is lifting his reports direct from Elfideldo's blog at least he should have the decency to acknowledge it. now the guy just looks like a fanny...

  7. The £500k "to Newcastle" is just really money set aside for Lambias and Leech to get their pay-off's.

the 500k is probabaly just about the actual cost of their wages for the period. question then is are we also paying other costs for them and what is paid if we don't get promoted.

  8. Another terrible contract in Ashley favour if we do get promoted pipped at the post by the two stooges who continue to rake in their salaries regardless. Perhaps grant at stv would care to comment on that or is Ally an old ally....

  9. true kenny brought them in, was just meaning mccall has had the gumption to stick with them.

the real test is if we are in the prem next season , will he have the balls to play them or will it be revert to type (Rangers type that is) and play the old steady heads

  10. yeah remember Sinclair departing and the shuffle with durrant and durie. Did the youth coaches ever get their contract hours put back up? I know they had dropped quite a bit not sure if it was ever fixed.

speaks volumes for Mulholland if an academy like theirs is wanting him for such an important role. Here's hoping he can get the philosophy across and the club give it their full backing.

The German model is hard to argue with very successful, personally would have preferred the dutch or spanish methods but german model probably an easier fit. Hopefully they produce some goals and aims and share them with the fans base. If the fans groups get the chance to financially back the youth academy it would be nice to see some sort of document produced highlighting the new training and ways the money could support new avenues. Would be great to see statistical analysis and a strong European scouting network to back it all up

Agree its good to see Sinclair gone hopefully the cliques he used to encourage have went also. Interesting to hear Mulholland say he had cut some players for not wanting to train etc have heard before the attitude from some of them was pretty shocking and disrespectful to staff.

sounds promising at the grass roots. will all be for nowt if we cant get a manager that will/can integrate them into first team players..

  11. So in summation your info is that there will be no real player changes - those out of contract will all be retained.

mccall will be manager for the next 18 months regardless of what happens in these play off matches.

and there will be no signings of any real note/quality until we have some sort of euro income surplus?

    I'm sorry i don't believe you.

did you listen to PM's interview? what did he say that differs from this account? a few times Traynor seemed to challenge him on certain points but when he waffled an answer Jim just moved on to the next pre planned question. a real interview would have seen an interviewer grill him on what was going on.

  12. Mccall will stay as manager (was always going to be the case.)

several of the out of contract players are being offered new contracts as we speak.

a few free signings are expected to the squad with the budget increased

no scouting this year or next other than old boys network(nothing structural wise done on this)

king not putting in any money unless passed fit and proper

has been a falling out over covering the initial costs.

king wants to de list others don't has left plans up in air

no transfer budget this coming season

season ticket price will be same no matter the league we are in

there will be no major changes at murray park

The funding raised through the share issue if it happens mid july(ish) will be used to cover the deficit for two years

the major changes to playing squad and scouting will happen once we secure euro money

the fans groups will be asked to help finance the upgrade of ibrox

basically nothing new is happening in the next two years other than trying to divert another 15% to the wage budget for the first team.

a lot of that appeared to be what PM was alluding to in the interview. if it is further backed up as actually happening by good sources then god help us..

  13. He also banned me for my political views I believe. Met him a couple of times seemed ok, but either him or his mods do like to rid FF of people who don't follow the party line. It's his site so I suppose he can do what he likes.

poor lad was unable to grasp the difference between Queen Mary I and our current esteemed monarch.. I tried an explanation but think I just made him look foolish and lifetime ban ensued. haha

  14. He would have the support of most posters on FF I would think. His "crusade" may be on behalf of himself, FF or whatever. Looks like you have personal issues with him.

aye perhaps it does .other than the stupid man banned me from FF because he is as thick as mince is just a bye the bye. The fact he is such a divisive character within the rangers support due to his past actions is probably nearer the truth..

  15. If our support chose to support him, that's entirely up to them.

are you suggesting something sinister here?

No just the fact that he has no credentials to be venturing into this kind of war with Ashley. People can support him of they wish . I just wondered how many across the spectrum actually will

  16. Because it's v Ashley and looks like another attempt to bully the wee guy there is an element of our support who feel obliged to "support" MD on this. the fact is that he is so tainted with previous shennaigans, this makes him totally unsuitable to be embarking on a crusade of this nature on behalf of Rangers or the fans.

  17. I'm not sure they could go in with a plan, they have to see what has been done or not done in the last 4 years.

for a guy who has been pretty much full time trying to put together takeovers these last years, I would have expected him to have clearer "Bigger picture"plans for the way ahead. he says they are only now looking at different clubs/models for ideas in formulating the best way ahead for rangers ..... he talks about st sales for next season, remarking on Hibs already marketing theirs and he is not actively looking at alternatives to mcall if he bombs. does he really believe that ST sales will be huge if they are heading into the summer and the fans don't know what next season is going to look like. I think the moderate crowds since they took over shows that the fans wont just return blindly.. I am definetly happy that we have custodians that are not robbing us but I still believe PM is not up to this job..the sooner king gets his all clear and takes the reins and shows us why he became SA's richest guy.

  18. talks a lot about what needs to be done and talks about talking to people and groups etc and getting info etc but very little indication that he has gone in there with a clear plan to go through this shambles like a dose of salts. really hope for rangers sake they get it together and soon...

  19. why is it nothing to do with the cause being worthy ?

Maybe some who have been licking the various boards arses would rather a fellow fan, fighting for our club, ends up ripped off by a capitalist juggernaught

my original comment was about whether he would get the required financial support to fight this not about whether the cause was worthy. I am replying to comments on my post so it would make sense for me to keep these relevant... think before you leap in.....
