i'm sure the well loved Mark will get huge financial support from across the cyber community to fight this particular fight

I have penned in another article, it's all about amplification.
Guidetti, Sellik's continuing censures from UEFA, land deals, ..... etc; all presented amid a soundtrack of low, ambient tones.
Rangers and Rangers supporters transgressions are cranked up to eleven on all amplifiers. Demands ensue, immediacy is demanded.
It's only three weeks past that the then Head of Sport at Radio Snyde, Jim Delahunt was demanding Sandy Easdale(a man steeped in both Rangers and west of Scotland culture") provide a statement on the marble steps reference the club's on going problems with sectarianism. The stimulus was the chanting at Starks Park, Jim had demanded nothing of no one after the League Cup semi-final the week before. Even Jim's accepted resignation from Radio Snyde today, has been buried in the inside pages of today's papers; confined to a few paragraphs by friendly journos.
it's a funny old society where a few insulting words or cartoons are deemed more socially unacceptable than a drink driver with the obvious "killer" Aspect that entails from such actions. och well what a great wee cuntry we are

Sbragia said: “At Real Madrid, Jack can float all over the place, which he does. But with us he has to be more disciplined. He’s an exceptionally gifted lad but we can’t carry him. He can be a luxury sometimes.
“We’ve deliberately gone for more height in our squad. That’s one of the reasons why Jack isn’t in it.
“I’ve gone for a physical side and runners. Hopefully I’m proved right in Austria. It’s purely a tactical decision.”
and just to add the boy is 6ft 1... hashtag proud to be Scottish.... aye right..

i would expect Saturday to be an improvement now that the football is also getting better.
Elfideldo may have a point. perhaps there were more "boycotters" due to the shite fitba than many wanted to believe. that last 15k may be harder to get back..

2015 - fined £3,600 for supporters setting off flares away to Inter Milan
In a statement, Celtic said: "Clearly Celtic Football Club is disappointed by today's decisions.

I think you will find it is not the words that are the problem but using them in a derogatory way. You can use the word ****** in normal talk but not use it in a derogatory way.
in that case the hearts boys should be pulled for the F### the rangers songs. I think the problem is when words are of a sectarian, rascist or discriminatory nature. Choose a neutral word and they will just say you actually mean anti irish anti catholic blah blah whether that is your intention or not.

Is it just me that finds this stuff pathetic? It's like teenage lassies playing their drama queen stuff. Is anybody on either side genuinely offended by any of it? Honestly and truly?
absolutely not but the issue is about where this ends. when they tag certain words out of bounds because of perceived meaning rather than it's actual meaning then there will come a point where anything could be construed as offensive to them. we should find a new word for them(Plebeian!) and insert it every song and you will soon find they deem it offensive as they will argue that it has hidden meanings.

A great piece
but having already seen PM praise the DR then i would suspect there is no chance of the club taking this on.
The supporters groups however, could if they unified.
if the club don't support the actions of a suporters group to stand up against this then they would just be pissing in the wind with the media still getting their exclusives etc... it would feel as if the club were actually against the supporters , just like the last x number of years....

don't let that over the hill lump be your downfall Stuart...

the disconnect that some of these players have with reality of the situation is mind numbing at times. that was probabaly what Ally did for them. built up a false belief in their performance that they saw as shielding them from outside influences.. result is a deluded bunch of underperforming highly paid "unprofessionals"

its the arrogance that he states that HE might not want to play for us in Championship next year. It SHOULD NOT be his decision .. he ahs to earn it and right now he's not doing enough

I watched that earlier, saying he has vital role and has to lead from the front.
Didn't see that but mcall must realise that if he fails playing that clown he himself is effectively finished in the fans eyes.

And not a murmur of criticism for super who basically fucked his career. The loon has had a tough year but he needs to break out of his depression and start playing if he even wants to considered good enough to stay not a case of whether he wants to..

Well I have no sympathy for the @#$*. Will they summon the oil firms that are paying off workers by the hundreds despite being given a huge tax break? Nah I doubt it...

is there not lots of hardened old pros in the lower leagues. Would a bunch of youngsters have been able to compete with them ?
I'm not talking about 11 kids. Half that with the right experienced pros and we should have pissed all over the lower divisions the way hearts have pissed all over the championship...

It was not exactly criticism, more like a wish. It would also underline their attempt at transparency, something that was lacking for years, if not decades. But I'm rather patient anyway. Even patient enough to wait another year in the Championship, if that means we get a decently run and organized club, a good manager and a team that deserves its and our name. (Which is not to say that I wouldn't welcome promotion this time around.)
that would have been my take on it, but I fear that more fans will drift away if we cant get back up and semi competitive. I thought there would be a 50k sell out first ibrox game after the takeover just to show the new board that the fanbase is there, but just lying dormant. it is possible that many of those who have drifted may not return.

its an old record but the third division was where these young lads should have been making their mistakes and getting the experience. in our current state it is hard for youngsters when the experienced guys are so woeful..

There are plenty scouts at youth level.
Andy Kirk has been there a while, his son McKenzie plays for one of the younger teams.
Malky Thomson was back briefly last season, he is a good coach, the players and parents like him. I haven't seen Gardner Spiers so far.
Don't think it would have much to do with the old board, probably more to do with the autonomy that Craig Mulholland was allowed and the changes are down to him
hopefully Speirs can bring something as the Queens park setup was excellent for a "small club"

slight deviation but shouldn't the SFA etc be commenting on the "shame games" between the scum and the erm scum....

hopefully the new regime whatever shape it takes will realise that developing young players ready for first team action is number one priority. results at U20's has to be secondary to player development..surely! if you have real prospect at right back develop him there and use some one who is not so promising to cover the leftback slot to make up the numbers. if they are all top notch then rotate it around the left back slot so no one player suffers from being played out of position..

He was very accommodating to the fans, stopped for a while to give autographs - my wee bro just wanted his photo taken with Rangers people (he probably didn't even know who it was ) - got his photo taken with Foster and Bomber - Bomber was another who was a gentleman to the fans.
On the Tuesday night we saw Walter and Grieg - my Mum was stalking Walter all the way in the front doors to get my wee bro's picture taken with him but couldn't catch up to him
she would have had no problem catching Boyd,Daly etc etc..lol

The board have quite a bit on their plate at the moment but they did promise transparency.
Off the top of my head, I believe they need to do the following and more:
Make sense of the admin and accounts of the club without a proper handover.
Facilitate a new Nomad to do their due diligence.
Investigate L&L for disciplinary proceedings, execute them, and arrange whatever parting terms are necessary.
Stop the draw-down of the second loan from MA and provide alternative funding.
Pay back MA loans and provide alternative funding for that.
Organise a share issue.
Deal with AM and KM contracts with whatever severance.
Re-establish a PR department
Recruit a chief scout.
Organise refurbishment of Ibrox.
Investigate onerous contracts and see which can be cancelled or challenged in court.
Appoint another fan director.
Appoint a CEO.
Set up mini-season tickets.
All while continuing the daily running of the club.
that's actually a decent list. You got that Paul murray??

Apart from the note about the volunteers for the Ibrox repair mission, has there been any comment whatsoever on any topic by the new board? Not sure what I was expecting, but the complete silence is a bit strange.
I commented similar on another thread. I am a bit surprised as well at the silence.

It's nothing to do with whether the cause is worthy I am just contemplating whether he will get the financial support that he is appealing for. I take it all the people on here that have shown support have made a generous financial contribution to his fighting fund in line with their outrage at SD and MA? If that is the case then my original statement will indeed be correct.
