  1. Alright that would probably be an obstacle to trip you over when the crowd moves. Cheers for clarification mate. You've made a valid point that I have to agree with.
  2. That would make sense. Anyway, "pledge" doesn't really sound like something of substance.
  3. That's kind of what I feared. Why not give him a shorter contract now and extend next year, rather then a word of mouth plege now!?
  4. What exactly does that mean now? He promised to stay but wasn't able to actually sign that contract due to being 17 according to SFA regulations. And he's going to do so once he turns 18?
  5. That surely would earn a lot more money. Still you want your team to be represented internationally. But honestly, is there really any sort of chance for acceptance into the EPL? I read about changing organisations into another country (e.g. like Berwick Rangers) is highly complicated and depends on a large number of requirements. I'm not exactly aware of those, but moving to another countries football organisation seems really aggravated.
  6. They do. But nobody over there can be arsed to comment on any of the numerous accusations. It's a joke.
  7. Who wouild've thought that. Well seems nobody has told them that no answer is an answer.
  8. The only upside I see in rejoining the SPL, if they even allow us back in which is anybodys guess right now, would be having access to European competitions that are needed financially and otherwise. Everybody wants to see their team play internationally I'm pretty sure about that. Having somewhat of an "outcast league" with the SFL or moving to England could not grant access to CL and EL I pressume. Other than that, nevermind the SPL!
  9. Right there's not just stairs, there's swing- up chairs in BF1 isn't it?
  10. That's another issue Bluedell, thanks for clarification. If this jeopardises a safety licence it apparently has to stop and David seems to have a point there. But as you say, I don't think it's the main issue either. UB seem a pain in his balls for some other reasons.
  11. Interesting to see what'll come out of this, I kind of refuse to talk about the Tims though since the amount of talk about us from their side is incredibly large which botheres me a bit. I think we don't need to engage in the same bs as they do.
  12. I see where you're coming from mate. But there's so much stuff that can cause serious accident when you're attending a football match. I don't even think Mr. David is concerned about any safety issues here, it's just about trying to put the foot down for some reason and crowd surfing may have been the easiest target. "You can't shift sections because you engage in crowd surfing", this is stupid. It's taken place at concerts for ages without any harm done that I would know of. These guys in BF1 have been doing it for some time and probably know how to handle their crowd surfing.
  13. Reminds me of a mall- security guy harassing kids for running. If that's what this man's job is, annoy people standing next to a statue for no reason, he must be veryy happy when he comes home at night.
  14. I don't really see how crowd surfing is bad behaviour anyway. Just a pathetic excuse for not allowing the move. Maybe reminding the older dudes of Woodstock and their hatred for those "goddamned hippies"?
  15. Shame. But holding fans down for "security" reasons is nothing new. It's just gutting when your own club doesn't allow you to support it the way you want. Keep it up guys!
  16. This is going on everywhere. I read something about the Catholic church not driving priests to become paedos, but to naturally attract people who are paedos, offer them the job and a variety of protection to pursue their "hobby" on top of that. This is sick on a visceral level. Anyway, nothing to do with football.
  17. Just to be fair, back in the days you were forced into Hitler Youth and to join the army and fight during the last year of war in Germany. No way around it. Claiming to be the only soldier to never have fired a shot during WWII is ridiculous beyong belief. His charity held him back, was it that?
  18. I assume Mad Phil's house got raided after proclaiming Anti- Protestant/ Rangers blogs then. Oh right, it didn't. The world's going to hell in a handbasket if you can't even insult the pope without having your house raided. Jesus.
  19. One could only hope so. It can only get better after all.
  20. Indeed. Yet it's funny how hard he tries to mock Rangers and Green for what he probably believes to be a strong statement himself.
  21. I was never aware such compensation for players on international duty existed. Curious to see what happens with it...
  22. This should be a nice showcase for a couple of first teamers who can't manage to get the minutes on the pitch they would need.
  23. You have to love the sweatpants though. Gotta be comfortable when you sign a new deal right? Good move to show the boys appreciation and offer them a long term deal, that's how it's done.
  24. I've had these thoughts as well. But in my opinion we have to think about the doorbell when it rings. We can't take this kangaroo court now just to make sure the SPL isn't pissed at us for standing up to them and won't complicate our re- entry in 3 years. SPL would probably do anything to avoid re- entry, with or without us fighting back at this point.
